He took time to understand my background and issues and carried out a thorough assessment and advised I had no mechanical problems in my knees and could carry on running. He advised me how to train to minimise pain and injury and add some exercises into my routine. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again for any future advice.

Fantastic experience: I turned up at the clinic with a severe Achilles injury and a lower back strain both of which was a pain level of 8 out of 10. After a couple of sports massages from Eliza and a referral to see John for a couple of chiropractic treatments to realign my aching bones after a long football career I am now fully recovered and in a great place physically. John is very knowledgeable and after first visit found the issue and cured it after a few more visits. No more pain yippee.

Fantastic experience: At first I thought this was all witch doctor tomfoolery however, john is a legend! Over the course of 2 months he has helped sort my back and shoulder to the extent I am now on the mend with stronger back. He listens to you and helps where he can offering good advice.

Fantastic experience: I registered with Katy Emblin when I was finding it difficult to move my knee freely after a knee replacement. She is a very good massage therapist who is easy to talk to and understands the problems encountered with muscles as we get older. The whole practice works very efficiently with text reminders of appointments in addition to written cards. I have always been seen at the appointment time and met with a warm welcome on arrival.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Katy for about a year and I couldn’t recommend her enough! I have been suffering for a few years now with joint and muscle pain and my dad eventually convinced me to get some help from Katy rather than rely on medication. Katy takes the time to get to know you, explains what is happening in your body as she is treating you and advises how to help yourself in between treatments. Every appointment she works hard to help release all that’s going wrong in my body! I certainly feel an improvement after appointments and definitely notice it when I have a longer break between treatments! The whole team at the clinic are lovely, and have recommended to many already. From Amy who is professional, friendly and always ready to help to Katy who not only has relieved a lot of pain but is just lovely! Highly recommended through and through!

I had an emergency appointment whilst on holiday in St Ives; I’d “done something” to my back & was in agony.. expected crunch-click, but got the “gun”, (which I already knew was something wonderful). Turns out I’d popped some ribs & John wasn’t sure about a shoulder & lower back issue going on too.. wasn’t out of pain after my appointment, but, WOW! Fantastic experience: John is a extremely gifted activator chiropractor working on levels a regular chiropractor could never do. I started seeing John in 2007 and I don’t live in cornwall, but visit often and like to have a session as and when I feel I need it. I use the sessions as all over mantinence. Being a therapist dealing with emotional issues myself,I can see how the body and spine go out of alignment depending on what is going on emotionally in your life. What John is assisting you in releasing is extremely deep and profound work. I would fly over to have session with him no matter where I lived in the world. People in Cornwall are very blessed to have him on there doorstep. To be as gifted and professional as he is are few and far between....I recommend him all the time.

Fantastic experience: Quite frankly the best chiropractor I've been to. John uses the Activator, and while at first I was a little sceptical, after 4 treatments my back was in great health and I was a convert in this method. Absolutely incredible results, with a much longer period between top ups! I highly recommend visiting this practice for amazing results!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing John for several years now, mainly for treatment of lower back pain. He has improved things dramatically and keeping regular appointments really helps to keep me pain free. A friendly and reliable service, I would highly recommend to anybody with muscular or skeletal issues.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing John for many years as I have a chronic lower back weakness as a result of a motor cycling accident in the past. This flares up periodically if I overstress my back for any reason (such as doing heavy gardening) but a trip to see John soon puts me right. In between I subscribe to his quarterly “maintenance” program which helps to head off problems before they develop. I cannot recommend John too highly. I have visited many osteopaths and chiropractors over the years but John stands out in terms of the quality of the treatment I have received, not to mention the friendly and professional manner in which it is delivered.

Fantastic experience: To be honest, I was skeptical of chiropractors before using this service. However, John and his team of staff have totally put me at my ease and I have been surprised by how immediate the benefits have been. While I choose to go back for chiropractic "tune-ups", the company has never pestered me to go back for unnecessary appointments (which is a criticism leveled at many such services). I even went for a appointment today (I got carried away doing press ups a few days ago!) and my range of motion and level of pain is far better than before it was before the appointment. I even want to give a higher score than 5 out of 5.

Fantastic experience: John and the team are fabulous! A very professional clinic, with a high standard of service. Don't think that all Chiropractors are bone crunchers! Because they are not! John is highly skilled in the Mctimoney method, which is great! I have been to the standard chiropractors which involved a lot of bones being crunched etc, I did not like it! So McTimoney is the way to go! and is very effective.

John Christian Tillyard Chiropractor is Professional and passionate about his job, he uses a gentle, precise method called McTimoney . I searched and researched around my area as i wanted a safe technique as i was in a lot of pain due to a disc problem caused by heavy lifting in my day to day life, I felt very safe in his knowledge he made me feel at ease that he was not going to hurt me which back pain can be at times, if you have suffered an injury or wear and tear problems you will know. John has kept my back stronger than ever before for around 2 years now, i go see him regular and its worth every penny cant thank him enough, would recommend john to anyone who suffers because you would no longer have to do so, just like i did and so many others do for far too long until the day i found this little gem of a place.
