Fantastic experience: Fantastic physiotherapist. I came here with neck pain from whiplash and hip pain. My physiotherapist George Smith was friendly, confident and most importantly knowledgeable, he quickly identified my issues and explained how and why they had happened and together we made a plan which was also explained to me and discussed every step of the way. After doing my exercises for 3 days my neck pain had vastly improved, almost disappeared. 6 weeks on the improvement is amazing and has really improved my quality of life and I can keep doing what I love...running. Thank you George.

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from lower and mid back pain. My doctor referred me to Pure, Bryony has been amazing. My back is much better and I have a much better range of movement. I cannot praise the service enough, and would recommend them to anyone needing physio.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Pure Physio for 3 months now and Kirti has worked miracles on my shoulder in that time. I have gone from practically zero rotation to being able to a great deal of movement restored and I can put on a jumper without crying out! I am not yet doing 360 windmills but I am hopeful with Kirti’s help it won’t be long! I would not hesitate to recommend, 10/10.

Fantastic experience: I was referred for physio by my GP and was offered an appointment within two weeks of the referral which was amazing! I'd not had physio before and was a bit anxious but George immediately put me at ease with his friendly, relaxed manner. George's thorough examination identified the source of my troubles and the exercises he gave me to do at home and work he did at the session gave me instant improvement. At my future sessions when I explained that I'd developed other pains, he helped me to resolve those as well. Every member of staff I dealt with during my visits was friendly, kind and professional. Fantastic experience: I was struggling with crippling sciatic pain and through fear of movement the problem became unbearable, which was illustrated on my contorted face. Then I met Kirti. She has a gentle, professional, and reassuring presence. I had a weakness in my core and unsteady balance. Now with a tailored program to address these issues, my movement has returned and so has my smile. Thank you Kirti. ⭐️

Fantastic experience: I don’t normally leave reviews but Swapnil Desai was the best physiotherapist i have ever seen. After an injury i was referred to him via gp. I didn’t feel hopeful as I’ve seen a handful of physios for being tall and just never made a difference and didn’t seem to care. After my first session i felt heard, to the point i sat in my car and cried, after my second session i felt some relief for my injury, after my 6th session i feel so much better. I still have bad days, but swapnil noticed that actually my height has caused injuries which is contributing to other pain. He taught me so much about how i should be doing key exercises to help support my body. But honestly the way he genuinely listens and cares is something you don’t actually see that often now and i am so grateful!

Thorough with his examinations and open and honest with his feedback. Very helpful with my recovery resulting in my discharge today. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Pure Physiotherapy. Mr George Smith was very approachable and helpful, he explained everything thoroughly from the exercises to the explanation of where my spine pain is located and what parts it affects. I was allowed to bring a family member in which was a relief as I have pretty big anxiety with appointments, and my mother had some questions herself about whether it could be a condition she has that passed down genetically. It was nice that she could also come in and talk and ask questions that gave her peace of mind. My options for what I wanted to do going forward after my sessions was communicated clearly and I felt that my opinion was really considered. Suffice to say, my experience was great, Pure Physiotherapy is warm and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: From the receptionists to the physios themselves I have nothing bad to say. Exceptionally helpful and friendly. I saw Swapnil Desai first who was very friendly and reassuring and started me on the exercises for my back. Having then got a referral from the NHS I saw George Smith who was lovely, took lots of time to really think about the issues I was having and finding a solution best suited for me. It's an ongoing process but I have certainly been helped by my visit and would highly recommend Sandy Hill especially George.

He took the time to properly understand my problem, not just the symptoms but the underlying cause, and explained everything clearly. He then put me on a structured programme to address it. Over three sessions, George steadily progressed my exercises at the right pace, and the improvement has been huge — my discomfort has been drastically reduced. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in getting results.

Fantastic experience: George Smith, my physiotherapist is a ray of sunshine. Not only did he listen to me when I explained my reason for attending his physio session but he gave me exercises which definitely helped my muscle strength and diminished the pain I have experienced in my lower back, knees and left leg sciatica. It was a pleasure to meet him and chat so easily with him and laugh which in itself halves any anxiety or mental pressure which may be present. I will miss my visits to George. He is a true professional and yet it was as easy and good listening and chatting to him as it is to chat to my friends. Positive experience: A friendly welcome every time I attended. My physiotherapist, Arsalan, was professional and caring. He was considerate when examining me, explaining as he did and asking permission before touching me. I didn't think the app provided for exercises was explained very well and was disappointed when I no longer had access to it after my last appointment, despite being told to continue with them for another 4 weeks

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from an ankle injury for over 6 months, and nothing seemed to improve the situation. My GP referred me to Pure Physio at St Austell. Swapnil Desai has been brilliant. He gave me a thorough examination and assessment. I had previously been told that I had arthritis, but Swapnil deduced that I had ligament damage. The course of exercises he gave me has improved the situation so much that I am back to pain free running within a matter of a few weeks, and the swelling that had been present for months has disappeared. Excellent in every respect.

Fantastic experience: Mr Khan is very personable practitioner and helped me with my neck and shoulder pain. I was given exercises to do daily and was given treatment and had a massage on the affected area, and was given manual stretches. I feel that I have made improvement over the three sessions and will continue doing all the things that were suggested to help further my recovery.

Fantastic experience: I was involved in a bad car accident and was referred to Pure by my insurance company. I cannot fault the service and efficiency. I had three appointments to sort out various issues as a result of the accident. The physiotherapist was excellent, easy to talk to and provided first class advice and exercises throughout the sessions. So much so I feel so much better and I'll continue to use the exercises. A definite recommend!

Fantastic experience: My physio Kirti was absolutely fantastic, I had been suffering with hamstring tightness for over 8 months with no idea what to do. In our first session she asked lots of questions and ran lots of tests with me before making her conclusion. She then set me an exercise routine based on what we discussed. Within a week I saw major improvements. In our follow up sessions she intelligently progressed the rehab and spoke to me about other related issues. Over all it was a great experience that has put in the path to solving a major issue that I had. Can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I can recommend Pure Physio in St Austell, the physio who has treated me, Swapnil Desai, has given me exercises which have helped me build strength in my legs so that going up stairs is much easier. Although i still need to keep up my exercises, the incentive of having an app which shows them and which I have to mark as completed every day is a great tool. I have been treated with respect, kindness and encouragement.

Negative experience: 3 appointments, no physio what so ever, no treatment, no help . Exercise precribed but the exercises were never emailed so how can i follow the prescribed exercise without ever being presented with any? In my expierence what was received was not physio. long drawn out waiting times inbetween appointments. Past medical history and surgury on the area of the painful problem area was not taken in to consideration or acknowledged. Paid for a substandard service where actual "physio" did not occur . Unhappy and surprised that there appears to be good reviews of this company when my expierence of this branch has been so poor and useless in relieving my medical issue.

Fantastic experience: I have had two physio sessions with Mr Swapnil Desai. He has always been very understanding and thorough diagnosing my neck problems straight away. I have been given exercises to do which I can do in my own time or on a app that was emailed to me. Time was took to show and explain how and what the exercises were for. Best of all I don't have problems anymore. The physio sessions were not rushed, felt very relaxed and understood. Hopefully get Mr Swapnil Desai if I need further physio. Thank-you.

Fantastic experience: Had my first consultation with Josh today for an ongoing shoulder injury and found Josh really helpful. He took time to listen carefully and asked a lot of questions to get to the bottom of the issue. He had a really good approach and understood exactly what I wanted, to keep exercising whilst managing an injury and gave good advice to moderate my activities, rather than rest.
