Fantastic experience: My dog Jack and I visited the Archway Physio Centre for the first time and met Amy the physiotherapist. Jack is suffering from lameness/arthritis and an assessment which was extremely thorough, professional and quite frankly had we not had this professional view of condition we could have done more harm than good and made his condition worse. Fantastic experience: Took my Labrador to see Amy at Archway Vet physiotherapy. It was a really great experience. Amy spent lots of time with Angus and me talking through his issues, watching him walk and trot and transition, explaining what she was looking for. We were given some exercises and shown what to do as well as given contact details. I would not hesitate to recommend Amy and Archway Vet Physio.

Fantastic experience: I saw Amy for the first time today and really appreciated her holistic approach. The Physio area is lovely and cool and the natural rock face makes the area feel very tranquil, so both I and Sorrel were very relaxed. Apart from all that Amy’s expertise showed in how quickly she picked up on Sorrel’s issues. I would highly recommend both the Veterinary side and Physio side of the practice

My dog has had physiotherapy twice, laser therapy, and 1:1 sessions with Amy the physio, and the care has been outstanding every step of the way. The entire team is amazing — kind, friendly, supportive, and incredibly understanding. Amy has been fantastic with my dog, taking the time to explain everything and making each session calm and reassuring. I honestly can’t fault this practice. Fantastic experience: Very professional and very very helpful in understanding our physio journey going forward.

Fantastic experience: We changed to Archway recently and a few months later our cockapoo, Basil, ruptured his cruciate ligament. We walked into the practice an hour after his injury and he was seen instantly. Surgery performed by the talented Jeremy and all his after care taken on by the brilliant nurses, especially Hazel and the amazing physio, Amy. To have a physio centre at the vets has aided his recovery with exercises we do at home and laser and hydro therapy at the centre. The care, patience and time taken in the physio centre has made the whole process for Basil, and us, so much less traumatic. He has gone from a dog who had to be muzzled to happily walking in and greeting the staff!

Fantastic experience: I had noticed a change in my dogs gait so took him to Amy for a check and advice. She was great with Winston, who can be a stubborn old soul! The excersizes she gave are simple to do but I am already noticing a difference! Winston will be back for some hydrotherapy!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending sessions with Amy for both my dogs for a few years now for laser and hydro. Her expertise is invaluable in ensuring my dogs are moving comfortably and are as pain free as possible. Amy is honest and wants the best for your dogs. Oz also had a session with Hazel who was also fantastic and another session for acupuncture which was brilliant too! All round excellent people and service. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We are monthly visitors to Archway Physio with our working cocker. He loves his time in the water and over the time he’s been going we do feel it has helped with his mobility in his back end. All staff seem knowledgeable, helpful and friendly :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve taken both of my dogs to Archway Vets in Grange for hydrotherapy, one for general exercise and the other for rehabilitation following TPLO surgery. The service has been outstanding every time. The team are incredibly thorough, professional, and genuinely care about each dog’s wellbeing. The rehab sessions made a huge difference to my dog’s recovery, and the progress has been amazing to see. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Archway Vets to anyone looking for expert, compassionate care.

Fantastic experience: Repeat visitor to Archways physiotherapy centre with my dachshund. Professional and highly skilled staff who have helped with the recovery of IVDD surgery. Hydro and Lasertherapy continues to be of benefit, and the overall experience with Archways has always been great!

Fantastic experience: My Labrador was diagnosed with arthritis and spondylosis at the age of 2. Last year, when she reached 10, she took a major setback and began refusing stairs. New to the area of Barrow-In-Furness, I was unaware of the services available but I was referred to Archway by my Vet practice. After an assessment with Amy, we began Underwater Treadmill therapy to build muscle back, laser therapy to target painful areas and reduce inflammation, and shortly after, acupuncture. All of this alongside exercises at home to improve gait and muscle which will in turn reduce pressure on painful joints. I have seen a MASSIVE improvement in Ebony (alongside relevant pain relief) particularly with her gait, and her "bad days" are significantly less, almost non existent. Its amazing that she gets to see professionals every 2-4 weeks so we can spot things before they become problems, and adjust accordingly. Amy, Hazel and Jo are amazing, not just as vet professionals but as people and Ebony LOVES visiting Archway just as much as we love coming to talk nonsense! So so glad we found you when we moved here as I truly believe it's given me and my girl more years together x

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I took Dexter to the physiotherapy centre. It's a lovely calm environment, and Amy made him feel safe. She was very thorough and explained everything clearly. We now have a treatment plan going forward and l feel l am now doing the very best for my dog.

Fantastic experience: We've only been for one appointment so far, but it's clear that Amy is an expert in her field. Although our cats particular problem wasn't obvious during the appointment (unfortunately, he was unwilling to move much!), Amy drew on her knowledge of cat anatomy and combined it with knowledge of physio in dogs and humans to proffer a likely explanation and a route to a diagnosis. She gave our cat a thorough physical examination and has been communicating with our vet to discuss and agree diagnosis routes. We were also able to send Amy videos of our cat once we got home where he was more comfortable and moving so that Amy could review them and witness the symptoms herself. This was done at no extra charge and we're very grateful for that. The facilities also warrant their own mention; Archway is situated in a modern, clean and spacious building and they have excellent equipment. Archway is able to offer laser treatments, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and acupuncture to your animals and Amy also carries out home visits. I cannot recommend these guys, especially Amy, enough. If we lived closer to Grange, we'd absolutely be registering here.

Fantastic experience: My Patterdale Terrier had a full physio assessment with Amy, mainly just as a check up ahead of our Crufts demo and another busy season of training & competing. The assessment was very thorough and everything was explained in detail throughout. I came away with such peace of mind and would highly recommend visiting Archway for Physio. Looking forward to starting our fun & fitness hydro sessions soon.

Fantastic experience: If I could give a higher score, it would be justified. One of our dogs had a spinal chord injury and at first couldn't walk. 5 months later, after intense physio, hydro, and mentoring by Amy, she can now run, swim, play and love life - and has even got back in to the fells. The professionalism, passion, care and humour that underwrites how Archway physio work are at the heart of that recovery. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: We recently had the pleasure of seeing Amy for physio with Meg our 20 month old Britney Spaniel who recently has suffered a brachial plexus injury. From the first minute she put us at ease. She was very knowledgeable, considerate and thorough in her assessment and advise. She ensure we left being full confident we could progress her physio whilst at home before our next visit. All in all we couldn't recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: Amy is absolutely lovely and really insightful. I learnt so much about my dogs gaits and how he should be moving correctly and what he’s doing wrong at the moment. She also made us feel really supported about a path forwards with his current complicated lameness issues. Oakley was given a lot of breaks and never asked to do more than he was comfortable with. Amy was also really understanding about my 7 month old baby tagging along and babbling away through the session. Amazing experience and look forward to our future sessions!

Fantastic experience: It was our first session today with Amy, she was incredibly caring. Took things very slow as Roma is a little nervous of new people and places. Amy was very thorough in checking her over and giving us lots of information and exercises to get the process going. Fantastic experience: I was directed here by my vet for physiotherapy for my dog following an operation to repair her cruciate ligament. She’s an old dog and was struggling with intermittent lameness following her surgery. I found Amy to be incredibly helpful and accommodating from the outset. She is extremely knowledgeable and has an obvious passion for her work. I have seen fantastic results and my dog’s mobility has now improved immeasurably. Amy is approachable and understanding towards individual circumstances and not only offers effective treatments but also goes above and beyond to offer advice and support.

Fantastic experience: Ollie my 14 month old border collie was booked in with Amy the physiotherapist to ensure he was fit to continue his training with sheep. He had a thorough check over and found to have a slight injury to a hind leg joint so received laser treatment to help it heal.He also received acupuncture along his spine from Jo the vet. I found the whole experience excellent with Amy being very thorough, she had a great manner with Ollie. He is now ready to continue with his training in the coming weeks.

Fantastic experience: It was suggested by our vet that our little dog Rupert should be referred to Archway so they could help with his continuing recovery from two operations he’s had due to having Patella Luxation. Today was his first visit and I must say it was absolutely fantastic. Amy was very friendly and very professional, she gave Rupert a thorough assessment and explained everything to us throughout which has helped my wife and I to understand his condition. As well as the hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions Rupert will undertake at Archway Amy also gave us advice as to exercises we can do at home with Rupert to help with his recovery which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Archway Vets to anybody and everybody.

Fantastic experience: Our little Border snapped her ACL and dislodged her patella, about three months ago. The calm and prompt care she received both for her operation and her ongoing physio was very impressive. Archway do a fabulous job. Fantastic experience: I have been with Archway Vets since 1996: my beloved dogs during this time have had excellent care when required: When the time came to say goodbye, the team were compassionate and the care was second to none. Over the last 2yrs my two Frenchies have been looked after during various visits, with one having ongoing physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, which again is excellent. I would not take my pets anywhere else. Thank you to all the team.

Fantastic experience: We have attended Archway Veterinary Physiotherapy with our 10 year old Labrador who was experiencing stiffness and become a bit slower. Amy the Physiotherapist carried out the most thourgh initial assessment of him and in conjunction with Vet Jo suggested a proposed treatment plan, we are 5 weeks into the treatment and at the 1 month review Bobby had made very good progresss with extension in one of his limbs improving by 20 degrees. We are so pleased to be long standing clients of this practice and have complete faith, trust and gratitude in them all for their professionalism and commitment.

Fantastic experience: My horse had his first physio session yesterday and I was very impressed ! My horse is very on the nervous side but the way Amy handled it was amazing with her gentle friendly nature. I have had previous physios come out to my horse but with how happy I was with the session I would never go anywhere else ! Amy is very knowledgeable and patient. Fantastic experience: Have had all our pets with archway for many many years and they have been amazing! Most recently my dog Lola has had to been seen a lot and Becky has been so good with her and gone above and beyond to help her and reassure me with how she is doing! Also the physio department is amazing! Lola loved hydro with hazel , so much so Lola would run in and get straight into the tank and hazel was so good with her, always made sure she was happy and again explained so well to me what was going on with her and how to help her at home. Absolutely amazing team! Thank you!
