Stansted Chiropractic and Back Pain Clinic

Negative experience: Not one for reviews but may help someone or improve their service. Had treatment here around 2 years ago for a MCL Sprain to my left knee and was recommended by my health insurance to use these guys. I’ve recent done my MCL again, I’ve now gone to another clinic and it’s only now where I’ve gone somewhere else & ive realised how terrible the treatment was here. Had 5 sessions and no word of a lie every single session was the same, lie on the bed, same questions, acupuncture and some sort of radio frequency thing, could tell they couldn’t be bothered. There was no information on exercise to do at home or any sort of recovery recommendation, no wonder my knees done the same thing. Don’t waste your money here, especially when theirs better like George cooper across the road.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Stansted Chiropractors for a few weeks now and seeing Charlie. I was suffering with a very painful neck and upper back! Even after the first session I was much relieved, and I've had another four sessions. My back is much better and with the treatment and the exercises, given to me by Charlie . The treatment has also amazingly helped clear the tinnitus and headaches that I was having! A real bonus! Thank you Charlie.

Fantastic experience: Rosie has been amazing. We came to her 12 months ago for my 9 year old son who was struggling with sports due to his tight ligaments. Rosie was kind, thorough, reassuring and very professional. After a full review with regular check ups we have made fantastic progress and have a very different, happy boy. Fantastic experience: Visiting my son in the SE for a week I suffered a sudden and very painful attack of Sciatica lasting 3 days - my son recommended I visit a chiropractor. I felt blessed in being given an appointment the following morning at the Stansted branch where I saw Christopher Robinson. After filling in a very comprehensive detailed form covering my general health and in particular my current ailment (sciatica) Chris took me through a variety of positions to inform him of the state of my current condition and the best form of treatment to follow up with and provide me with some pain relief. Chris applied a specific massage technique to the affected muscles - with immediate results. I was already beginning to feel less pain. He then took me through specific exercises which he felt would also be helpful as a form of pain relief. I was to continue with these exercises at home up to 4 times a day to obtain maximum benefit. Chris was a friendly, polite, confident and very effective Chiropractor practitioner whom I trusted to diagnose and treat my Sciatic pain. He did not fail me. Sadly I was unable to continue treatment with him due to my short visit. Having said that, I walked out of the Chiropractic Clinic experiencing a lot less pain than when I limped in. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice and in particular Christopher Robinson as an effective practitioner for sciatica, back pain and related issues.

Fantastic experience: Having played rugby for many years, I suffered from the usual neck and back troubles. I visited a number of chiropractic clinics but never really had any success until I found Stansted Chiropractic . I’ve been benefitting from the expertise of Marcel Morelli now for 20 years, he’s brilliant. He is cautious, he understands sports injuries (as he was a top athlete himself), he is genuine and truly a consummate professional. I really could not recommend him enough. Top class treatment and brilliant value. Five stars!

Fantastic experience: I've had back pain on and off for years and as I now have a physical job I decided to try and get it sorted. I saw Chris at the Stansted clinic and he was great. I've had treatments for back pain in the past but Chris was obviously much more knowledgeable and I was impressed that he spent time actually making a diagnosis rather than just treatment and he explained very clearly what the problem is and what my options are to manage it. Since then I've seen him 3 times and have noticed massive improvement which makes life so much easier. Not to mention his friendly bedside manner which put me at ease immediately. 100% would recommend

Fantastic experience: I contacted Stanstead Chiropractic and Back Pain Clinic 2 weeks ago as I had a history of an elbow injury (extremely painful) and was awaiting surgery for a new prosthesis on the 21/3/34. Then doing a bit of weeding I suffered a horrible nerve impingement affecting my neck and shoulder causing tingling,a sharp burning pain, and pins and needles ……I really was in agony ! No amount of analgesia ,heat or cold helped and I felt really desperate. I phoned the clinic receptionist who was very empathetic and got an appointment almost immediately with Marcel who is the National Director for post grad chiropractic training . His caring and observant nature immediately put me at ease, he took a full medical and surgical history, documenting my symptoms and any previous injuries he then examined me looking for changes in reflexes , muscle weakness and different sensations I was feeling. I underwent ultrasound treatment and acupuncture and Marcel gave me gentle range of motion exercises to practice at home . After just 2 sessions I felt such a difference and my symptoms were so improved . I can honestly highly recommend Marcel to anyone who is suffering from neck/back pain and needs immediate relief, you will feel such benefit .

Fantastic experience: I was in a lot of pain on my first visit, and within just a few months, I can say, I am feeling pretty fantastic. I initially went in for mid-back pain, but I had quite a few areas where I needed some help, such as my neck, lower back, knee, as well as plantar fasciitis. Basically, I was falling apart, and Rosie put me back together. Rosie is brilliantly talented, knowledgeable, very professional and sweet. After a combination of acupuncture, shockwave therapy, and adjustments, I now definitely have a larger range of motion and little to no pain (After years of “normal” pain). Fantastic experience: I was suffering from a double slipped disc condition resulting in sciatica and having been referred to NHS Physio without success, I turned to Stansted Chiropractic and Back Pain Clinic. Over approximately 9 months Chris Robinson has transformed my condition allowing me to resume regular running through his treatment. Chris delivers this with humour, turning a potential ordeal into a positive experience. His between-treatment exercises are useful and achievable rather than formulaic or overwhelming. Overall, visiting Chris has been a positive and beneficial experience and I would thoroughly recommend him.

All staff members are always friendly and professional and since my first appointment I felt Ollie was always focused on doing is best to help me, explaining everything he’s been doing, checking improvements and advising more, soo I get better results. Fantastic experience: I cannot rave enough about Ollie. After spending a few weeks with terrible headaches, neck and shoulder pain brought on by extended time at my desk; after just 3 sessions with Ollie I'm back to normal! I was worried that the adjustments would be painful, but the level of care and professionalism completely removed that fear. I have been given stretches and exercises to do and now will only need to visit for maintenance. If you are a desk worker - I highly suggest a visit to this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Really friendly and helpful service. Identified several contributing factors to the overall injury and explained them and their solutions succintly. Lots of handy tips for changes to make at home. Told me how he was going to fix each problem and what would happen as a result. He then proceeded to do so word for word - he is an absolute wizard!

There was one time I thought that I would never be pain free without surgery, and there was no guarantee I was going to make a full recovery even if I did. Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Anthony King for tendonitis of my rotator cuff, lower back pain and tightness in my neck for the last two years. He has absolutely changed my life, going from seeing him twice a week to now just once every six weeks. I work at a desk all day and my posture has improved massively and I very rarely suffer now! Would definitely recommend Anthony - he is extremely professional and friendly!
