Fantastic experience: Can't recommend Jon enough! After having helped and treated me with my slipped disc in my back a few years ago, my daughter needed some advice on a knee problem recently which was hampering her dancing and worrying. Once again so knowledgeable, expert advice given,helpful and most of all, easy to talk to and understand. The 'easy to talk to' is quite rare nowadays.Brilliant as always. Thank you so much Jon.

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that Jayne Bradley has saved my life , it sounds dramatic but this lady has gone above and beyond to help me , I was wheeled into the Hydro with no confidence, frightened and thinking I’d never walk again , she helped me to build my confidence and strengthen my body ,no one has been surprised than me the difference its made to me , now I’m doing all the exercises shes set for me in the pool on my own , I’m walking and doing more of the things in life I thought I’d never do again x

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Jon and the team enough for their amazing physiotherapy care. From my first session, Jon was calm, compassionate, and very clear in explaining what was going on with my back. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I immediately felt relaxed, secure, and confident that I was in good hands. After only two sessions, I already feel so much better, I can move again! Jon and the team even stayed after hours to see me when my back was really bad, which meant a lot. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care have made such a difference. Fantastic experience: Recurrent knee injuries and underlying osteo arthritis managed by exercise and as needed - maybe every year/18 months - with a steroid injection at the Clinic. Really, really good value, and done with care...

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using Fontwell Physio for many years now and their physios and services are excellent. I had a skiing accident a few years ago and severed the teres major tendon in my left shoulder. My local GP kept dismissing this as a sprained a tendon but the physio who treated me picked this up straight away. I’ve had two hip replacements and their hydrotherapy pool and the exercise advice I was given helped me make a speedy recovery. I’ve also used their podiatry service for a painful foot problem, which wouldn’t go away. A custom-built insole they provided fixed the problem within about a week. I highly recommend Fontwell Physiotherapy for their physios, services and facilities.

Fantastic experience: I have visited the hydrotherapy pool several times throughout the year, and every visit has been a delightful experience. The staff are all lovely, the place has a great feel, it is clean and tidy and well looked after and I can't recommend it more highly.

Fantastic experience: What a great experience with some recent pain in my knee that hindered me to do yoga. I saw Merlin and her treatment plan including daily exercises helped me to fully be painfree and fully mobile again within 6 weeks. I am a regular in Fontwell given my sporty life. Fantastic experience: I was advised by 2 surgeons (hip and shoulder) to see Jon. I’m so glad I did as the staff have a good understanding of the effect of Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility on other injuries/issues. As a result I haven’t had the constant flare ups and set backs that were happening under countless other physio’s I have seen. Both Jon and Alex have been incredibly supportive on dry land and in the hydrotherapy pool and I have seen marked improvements under their guidance. The facilities are clean and well presented and the reception staff have always been professional and courteous, having worked hard to fit me in for appointments or any rearrangements I’ve had. The whole team are lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a high level of patience, understanding and support throughout their physio journey.

Fantastic experience: I attended Fontwell Physio following my hip replacement. This is an outstanding physiotherapy clinic, I used the hydrotherapy unit initially which was amazing immediately post surgery, clean, warm and highly skilled staff, it is a truly unique facility. I then progress to land based physio. The physio team are experts in their field, they guided me through a full rehab programme and I am now back on the golf course and completely pain free. The staff are kind and courteous and make you feel so welcome. I 100% recommend the team and the practice, thank you for everything.

Since the accident I’ve found coming here very helpful as Alex has helped me build my confidence and strength in walking, which I never thought I’d ever be able to do again. Negative experience: Disappointing Experience I recently had the unfortunate experience of contacting this company - Fontwell & Southbourne Physiotherapy and Hydrotheraphy and I must say I was deeply disappointed. The customer service was exceptionally poor—there seemed to be a lack of concern for my issue when I attempted to amend a booking. The response I received was dismissive and unhelpful, which left me feeling unsupported. Additionally, the state of the premises was a major letdown. The facilities appeared run in and in desperate need of maintenance. The overall cleanliness of the space was far below acceptable standards, which only added to my dissatisfaction. Given the combination of subpar service and facilities - I will not be returning in the future. Fantastic experience: I saw Linda because I wanted to continue horse riding at age 63 but hips very painful. One session with Linda and within 2 weeks huge improvement and enjoying longer rides pain-free. I can also walk way longer than I could just a month ago. Many thanks. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the hydrotherapy. I went there as soon as my wound was healed following total knee replacement. Jayne assessed me for a session and then I moved to self directed sessions - with Jayne always on hand for advice. I am now 5 months post op and moving to the “land” (gym!). I know I would not be so mobile or at 126 degrees flexion if it wasn’t for all the hydrotherapy. A fantastic service! Thank you.

Positive experience: Place is lovely and clean, lovely warm swimming pool. The only thing is there is no lock on the toilet. There is only communal changing rooms

Fantastic experience: I had a knee issue and my knee was so swollen I could not move it or walk, I managed to get an appointment within the week which was great as GP surgery could not offer that. I saw Mark Jones who was such a lovely man and very knowledgeable, he drained the fluid for me and gave me a steroid injection, although not pleasant to have done he made it as painless as possible and I am pleased to say my knee is mostly back to normal. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark at all. I also think the cost was very reasonable.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Fontwell Physio too highly, particularly Jon Charman who expertly and professionally guided my recovery from complicated shoulder surgery. He helped me through a difficult time with great care, understanding and sympathy.

Positive experience: I have used the hydrotherapy pool under the care of Jayne for a number of years, following joint replacements and other surgeries. I continue to benefit from attending to maintain my mobility and fitness. Jayne is a wonderfully supportive instructor and mentor who has helped me to quickly recover after each surgical procedure. I would be lost without this facility.

Fantastic experience: As a professional boxer I have been seeing John to keep on top of my shoulder niggles. Johns knowledge of the human body is exceptional and he has really helped me between my fights. I would highly recommend his services.

Positive experience: Nice pool and warm enough for the babies swimming here. My main gripe is the unnessasarily noisy fan, which is a bit relentless. (I should have said my gripe is aimed much more at the designers of such equipment than the operators of this nice site)

Positive experience: My baby's swimming lessons take place at this pool. Whilst the pool itself is nice and warm, the changing rooms would benefit from a changing table as we currently change on the bench or floor, which is not sanitary. There also appears to be no heating and thus freezing as soon as you're out of the water, which in fairness is to be expected this time of the year!

Fantastic experience: The Wolds at Fontwell is excellent. Sport massage, Physio, Hydrotherapy, Pilates and more. I go every month for a back massage (fibromyalgia) and it helps no end.. my 70yr old mother attends for a damaged shoulder (sceptical at first) now she books at first niggle of pain.

Fantastic experience: After tests I was referred to Fontwell for a very painful and stiff shoulder blade injury which I had unfortunately been receiving the wrong advice/care for at a previous clinic. I saw Linda who took me under her wing, first showing me how to properly rest the muscle and then we began the exercises that would strengthen and heal it. I was in a really bad way when I first saw Linda and had very little movement in my shoulder at all but within a short space of time with her it was drastically improved and the pain went down almost immediately. Linda is a really lovely, kind and extremely knowledgable person. I suffer from anxiety too and she was always mindful of this. Not only was I able to ask her any questions at all with regards to my injury but I could also ask her questions about fitness in general and she helped created a list of exercises for me to improve my overall fitness and muscle tone. Cannot recommend this place or this lady enough! 5 stars from me

Fantastic experience: Fontwell Physiotherapy's hydropool has been an oasis of kindness and top-notch pain relief for me. Jane is highly motivated and runs the service in a professional manner -- she developed a personal exercise plan that I then used for my weekly self-treatment sessions. The gentle exercise with the warmth of the pool takes away most of the pain. And there is a lovely community of people who attend the pool sessions (4 people a session), which I found a great help for the loneliness felt in living with a painful chronic condition during the COVID year. A rare, wonderful facility . --- I feel lucky to have found Fontwell hydropool and Jane, who takes good care of us all.

Fantastic experience: My first time back to Fontwell Hydro pre COVID-19. I am a senior lady, and I was very nervous about going to the centre. On arrival I was greeted in the car park by Jane(physiotherapist), she was wearing a protection mark and duly cook my temperature at a distance, she put me at ease and went through the new protocol fully. . On entering the Hydro reception I fill out a yes/no type form regarding my current wellness. I has my own changing room ! Amazing methodical detail regarding cleanliness and care had obviously been taken. I spent 45 minutes in the pool with Jane giving one to one instruction from the pool side - She took me through a routine which suited my needs and yes, she took me through my paces also . I Needn’t have worried at all, I felt safe and relaxed. Thank you Jane. I have booked several SELF TREATMENT classes. This is worked by bookings on the phone or online. The sessions are a maximum of four people in the pool ONLY and each person has their own changing room - PERFECT! .

Fantastic experience: The team at Fontwell were amazing. Having damaged my knee playing rugby, Jon and the team did a fantastic job getting me back to full movement after my ACL replacement surgery. The facilities at Fontwell were perfect with the bonus of physios, hydro pool and gym all at one location.
