Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Kevin by my neighbour and was fortunate in being able to get an appointment within a very few days. I was walking skewed over and in some discomfort. From the very first minutes of enquiry and analysis it was absolutely clear that Kevin not only had enormous skill and experience but that he was an exceptionally warm and caring human being. The conversations over the course of my treatment were wide ranging and fascinating and I was delughted to hear that he was going to distil his experience and his holistic philosopy into a book. I should of course also add that the first exercises and then the development of his programme with the strengthening sequences were entirely successful and add up to a complete preventative process. Fantastic experience: Really excellent, in only a few sessions (with additional exercises at home) I noticed a huge difference in my lower back. Charles felt extremely competent and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I arrived for my first physio session due to a back injury and was probably at the lowest point in my life!. I had lost a lot of mobility and parts of my body was numb which was a real concern. Through continued sessions I have received physio treatment and was given a progressive exercise plan to follow which completely resolved my mobility and numbness issues. Furthermore to this I was equally impressed with the reassurance I received on each session, all my concerns and doubts were answered and I came out of each session happier. Fantastic experience: I had an extremely positive experience with Spinal Physio. I'm not good on phones so dealing with the charming Fiona made me much less stressed about the whole thing. I have had many NHS physios before for the same problem, a recurring back injury, and the problem just returned. I still do the exercises Charles gave me and I haven't hurt my back since. I've never had a physio treat me so wholistically before or who so was quick to recognise the fundamental problem. I would go to them for every ailment if I could afford to. These guys are constantly reading and researching and keeping up to date with the medical world. It's not quick and it's not cheap but it is worth it!

Fantastic experience: After a hospital stay for a spine issue I had, it was suggested that I did some physio to help the recovery. I have tried quite a few physios over the years and it never helped so I was fairly dissolutioned about the prospect. Then I found Kevin Hunt at Spinal Physio ... to cut a long story short I am now running a few times a week, something I never did before and with his help, insight and deep knowledge I feel totally different about how I relate to my body and pain. Fantastic experience: Can't recomment highly enough. Kevin guided me through the recovery process for chronic sciatica. I first came to Kevin when many months with other physios generated underwhelming results. Kevin helped me to understand both the condition I was suffering from and how the pain I was feeling was generated. He takes a evidence-based approach that looks at the original physical source of pain and beyond. Kevin helped me to digest the treatment options available to me and acted as a sounding board while I considered them. He introduced me to a surgeon with whom I have been impressed. Ultimately I decided to undergo a microdiscectomy procedure with this surgeon. Since the surgery, Kevin has helped me gradually get back to "normal" life while educating me about my body and mind along the way. 3 years after the original injruy I am now practically pain free - this wouldn't be the case without Spinal Physio and Kevin. The organisational setup at Spinal Physio is also excellent - very welcoming and low-stress. Fiona, who handled my bookings and brought me water after jogs to their site is both professional and a delight to talk to on a damp grey morning. I will continue to recommend Spinal Physio to people I know.

Fantastic experience: Kevin came to us highly recommended by our next-door-neighbour, and with good reason. I went with a neck problem, and – through a highly effective combination of some manipulation, exercises and a careful explanation of the various reasons why I was experiencing pain when I did and what I could do about it – I am now free of persistent pain and able to deal with early signs of a problems, after four sessions. As well as first-class physiotherapy, I also enjoyed Kevin's fascinating conversation and hearing about his philosophical approach to life. A really friendly and helpful receptionist also contributes to the five-star rating.

Fantastic experience: I came to Kevin with lumbar spine degenerative changes post endometriosis diagnosis , and persistent back pain about 3 months. Five sessions later, I can move, I am not in persistent pain, it has been amazing. I am also thankful for having my sessions in spite of being late for the first few due to mental health medication - I am grateful for the support.

Fantastic experience: I have attended around 20 sessions with Charles following a disc injury that left me in excruciating pain and unable to walk without assistance. Having now made a full recovery, I can say that Charles is an excellent professional with an impressively acute knowledge of the anatomy and body mechanics. He is able to precisely manipulate the body to achieve his goal ( reduce pain, improve mobility etc..) and I could always feel an improvement during and after my sessions. Charles is also great at explaining concepts simply and uses simple analogies to describe the condition/injury and how it is evolving. Charles keeps his knowledge up to date reading the latest findings of his field in scientific literature. After getting me rid of the pain, him and I put together a strengthening program to avoid any injury in the future, this is a key part of the treatment. He has restored my confidence in my body's abilities and has allowed me to do sports again. Charles has given me useful advice, answered all my questions and reassured me throughout the treatment. A truly life changing experience for me.

Fantastic experience: I saw one of the other Physios here (not the owner) for several sessions a while back. He was excellent and the place is very smart and well appointed. Hopefully I won't need them again (!!) but if I do then I won't hesitate to come back.

Fantastic experience: I had a "sport injury" and it affected me for 5 years. I had been every where and heard every theory. I saw Chiropractics, physios of all sort under the nhs. It took only two visits under the Spinal Phsyio and I was sorted. No theories, just a simple analysis and encoragement to hit the gym and work on the specific area of weakness and I was back to my original self. I wished I had found them 5 years ago. I definitely recomend them!

Fantastic experience: I have been using Kevin as my physio since pretty well the first week he opened - which must be going on over ten years now. He is exceptional. There are very few physios, in my rather long and painful experience, who have the holy triumvirate of: osteopathic, physio and trigger point needling (aka western acupuncture...) skills. Kevin knows how to use them all if you wish him to. He's like a miracle worker. I feel slightly ambivalent about posting a review as it might encourage others to go to see him and then I'm going to have difficulty getting an appointment. Ah well. Must be altruistic about these things.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. MacLeod literally changed my life. Unlike pretty much every physio I'd encountered before, she took the time to listen and properly diagnose me, then give me the treatment I needed. I no longer walk with a cane, which is down to her, and I have a much better understanding of how to manage my ongoing condition. I would - and have! - recommend her whole-heartedly to anyone who needs good physiotherapy care.

Fantastic experience: Having just found out from an MRI scan that i had a prolapse spinal disc, my company nurse advised me to seek physio. Though the clinic is 45 mins drive for me i'm glad i choose these guys. Professional and friendly and give good advice. well worth a visit.
