Fantastic experience: I had an excellent course of treatment with Dr Sujay Agarkar for a sore ankle which I developed while training for a 10k run. Thanks to the treatment my ankle recovered and I was able not only to participate in the 10k but to complete it without pain and in a much better time than I had expected.

Fantastic experience: After visits to my GP I was diagnosed with soft tissue damage in my knee and given exercises on a sheet of paper to follow. So decided to use Activ. After 18 months of sever knee pain I saw Nikki. She was amazing , had a one to one to discuss the problem, she carried out acupuncture, ultrasound, cupping and recommended specific exercises. After 5 visits I was practically pain free and now I can carry on with my life without having to think how to navigate stairs and steep hills. Thank you all so much

Fantastic experience: I had struggled with intense shoulder pain for over six months. As I have caring responsibilities I couldn't get to a physiotherapist. So I rang Activ Physiotherapy and they were SO HELPFUL. Nicky came to my house, brought all her equipment with her! She did an assessment and came up with a brilliant treatment plan. With massage, red light therapy, acupuncture and exercises I could do daily, my shoulder is back to normal and I am pain free!!! I am thankful for Nicky! I can now do my caring work and garden and sleep without any pain. THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Activ Physiotherapy! All of the staff are friendly and professional, the rooms are clean and comfortable and I immediately felt at ease. Sujay has been a great help in easing the tension and pain in my upper back and shoulders. I have so much more more movement now and the exercises he provided will help to maintain this. I have also received treatment for PGP whilst pregnant, as I suffered a lot during my first pregnancy. This time around (thanks to Sujay), I have hardly noticed any discomfort! I will definitely be returning for more appointments in the future!

Fantastic experience: I started going to Activ Physiotherapy in Hope with a painful knee which then developed into pains in both knees and hips. My ability to walk and function normally was severely impaired and I started to prepare for a life where I was housebound, unable to walk my dogs, and thinking of which mobility scooter would best suit my needs. Georgina at ActivPhysio in Hope started a course of rebalancing my body, with massage and suites of exercises. This removed all the pain, restored my walking to normal and I regained my active life. I can't stress how grateful I am to her and her colleagues.

Fantastic experience: I undertook a course of treatment for painful sciatica. I can't recommend Georgina any more highly. A combination of her expert 'healing hands', acupuncture, a referral to my GP (made by her) for stronger short term pain relief and some easy to follow stretching exercises to do at home has (currently) reduced my pain levels to virtually nothing. Thank you so much. This has improved the quality of my life and everyday activities immeasurably. It may recur in a few months (it usually does) but I would have no hesitation in going back for more sessions. A friendly and professional practice.

Fantastic experience: I'd had long standing neck/shoulder pain and limited movement for 7 or 8 years following on from a lifting incident. Over that time I'd had NHS physio twice and seen a chiropractor but never fully sorted the issue. Activ Physio have been amazing. Every session has been very specific and detailed with a very hands on approach (totally different to my NHS experience of physio). Each session differed slightly as did the 'exercises' I was given to do at home. I could feel progress from the first session and then the spacing of future sessions, through to the final one, were perfectly tailored to how my progress went. No pressure as in you've had enough sessions now or to keep returning unnecessarily. The practice is a pleasure to deal with in all respects and I would thoroughly recommend them for their professionalism and expertise. Definitely money well spent.
