Negative experience: The vet physio side of the business seems to have a revolving door of good young graduates that leave after a couple of months. I ended up taking our dog elsewhere after we finished our block because I felt concerned about how it was being run. For the price I’d expect staff to be treated & paid well!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Alba Physiotherapy highly enough. I had been experiencing severe pain in both upper back and tailbone but following a detailed consultation, massage and exercises I feel much improved.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Alba Physiotherapy. Our dog has been attending sessions for over 6 months now. She has numerous issues with her legs and spine. I haven't had the best personal experience with physio in the past (this was not with Alba), so I was a little sceptical but she has improved significantly in the time she has been attending sessions. Brid is extremely knowledgeable and always adapts sessions to whatever our dog needs. Tabitha is an asset to the company and is extremely efficient in helping with insurance forms and any admin enquiries we have had. It's honestly been a pleasure to be a customer and the new site at Brodie is fantastic for us!

Fantastic experience: I have sore knees and was worried about having to have a knee replacement. I also have sciatica and an aching back. I really didn’t know which to get treatment for. I was delighted when she discussed and treated all three ailments, and was genuinely interested in my health and well-being. I came home with a set of exercises which I have religiously done every morning. I can now get up and downstairs with only the slightest twinge in the knee. My back is always a problem, it’s not a sore as it was and I don’t know what’s happened to my sciatica, it used to start in the bone in the middle of my right bun cheek and run down the back of my leg like lightning to my ankle. Now it’s just in my bum cheek, sometimes the back thigh, and very rarely my lower calf but never the back of my knee! Magic. When I am proficient at my exercises - I do them all, but only manage half the repeats - l shall return for further instructions. PS I hate “The Clam” exercise. PPS The staff are warm, friendly, genuine people. PPPS I would go more often but my purse won’t allow it (pensioner),

Fantastic experience: Absolutely 1st class service, needed legs taped for 1/2 Marathon, was done and never felt a thing during race, followed up with full massage a day after race, very experienced and knowledgeable got all tightness out of hamstrings and showed me some excersies All in all highly professional and highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Our dog has is currently attending Alba Vet Physio following surgery for paralysis caused by IVDD. From the first visit, her physiotherapist Cara has been very gentle and calm whilst encouraging her to retain her mobility. I’m happy to report that, between the weekly sessions and the home exercise routine that Cara suggested, Kaley mobility is increasing every week. Unfortunately I can’t seem to attach the videos of her.

Bramble and I really appreciated them and are now significantly down the road of recovery thanks to them!

Fantastic experience: I have been very pleased with Joy's assessment and treatment of my two dogs, and both their mobility problems have improved. Joy, friendly and professional, has given me useful advice regarding exercises I should do at home with the dogs.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been using Alba Veterinary Physio for a while now, and it’s done wonders for our bulldog Buddy, who has numerous issues with his hips and hind legs. The laser treatment and massage helps him relax, and the water treadmill has been wonderful for building up his leg muscles - within a few sessions he’d stopped falling over when he runs, and we now return for maintenance, to keep him his best self. More recently, our senior Frenchie has also started at Alba, and there was a marked improvement in her posture after just one session. She’s having sessions every 2 or 3 weeks now, to keep up the muscle tone in her hind legs, and help her overall conditioning. So much better than putting the dogs through surgery. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Joy made a detailed and accurate diagnosis of my dog’s lameness . She explained the cause of the problem. The treatment ( massage , exercise , laser therapy and hydrotherapy) ,combined with exercises she gave us to do with Bramble, have produced rapid results . My dog is no longer limping, is less stiff and has regained muscle mass . I am very impressed with their professionalism.

Negative experience: Not good, very expensive for what you get , building needs maintenance very shabby inside and out. Would not go back or recommend.

Fantastic experience: Appointment was easily set up with confirmation from Brid by email and a reminder sent the day before. Location is a bit tricky to find but Google Maps takes you there. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff - Joy made sure our dog was calm and relaxed before starting physio. Each exercise was clearly explained and demonstrated. Excellent follow up from Tabitha and with a link to exercise videos to be performed at home and a check in on our dog's welfare after the session. Fantastic experience: Only one appointment, however so far the customer service has been excellent. Time was has taken to understand my problem and to listen. Follow up stretching information was prompt, which will help me in interim and longer term.

Fantastic experience: Jimmy had surgery for a herniated disc in January and was left unable to stand and with minimal movement in his back legs. I was given basic physio exercises by the vet to do with him at home but decided he needed extra help hence contacting Alba. He has since been having weekly physio with Joy and 4 months later is able to stand for short periods and walk, still with assistance, but is so much stronger and making steady progress. We were told it would be a long job to get him back on his feet, I think without the extra physio he wouldn't have come this far this quickly. Although he hates the hydrotherapy treadmill and being a lazy Greyhound won't put in much effort, it has all definitely helped him. The extra exercises and advice I have been given has proved invaluable, and I know that should we need any help in future I can contact them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone faced with a similar situation.

Fantastic experience: Alba Physiotherapy is by far the best treatment I have received so far. I have seen 4 or 5 different physios in the last 12 years but I got results from Alba almost immediately. The team there really listen to your ailments and get right to the heart of the problem. The online support aswell through the exercise app is 1st class. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Our dog Oakley has hip Dysplasia and was referred to Alba Physio. Joy has been amazing with him. He enjoys his massage and then he goes on the treadmill. We can’t believe what a difference it has made. No limping and we can take him out for proper walks now. Joy is so good at telling us what exercises to do at home and what equipment to use that we would have around the house.

Fantastic experience: Nelson our Leonberger has been getting physio and hydrotherapy for the past year with Joy who is lovely and patient with him for hind leg weakness. He has improved so much and it has been amazing for building up his muscles. Very friendly and you are out at ease by Joy and the team, I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facility and really helped our dogs Lilo and Stitch who are Newfoundland/St Bernard cross breeds of significant size. Both have had cruciate ligament surgery in the past 12-16 months and aiding their recovery with sessions with Joy have been great to help them recover well. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Oliver has chronic lower back issues and the work Joy has done with him to relax and strengthen his muscles has helped greatly to increase his activity levels. As part of our management of Oliver's exercise he is now happily enjoying longer walks and running around, from hills to beaches. Oliver had 14 initial sessions over c6 months and now has monthly maintenance sessions with Joy.

Fantastic experience: Odie really enjoys his physio sessions at Alba physio. They are knowledgeable and patient and are happy for me to give him treats to ensure he's totally comfortable. We get really great exercises to do at home and great advice too. I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: Amazing, dedicated, caring, professional, friendly and effective team who care about the pets they treat. I have been using them for over a year now to keep on top of my dogs spondyolosis, however the treatment she has received recently for an injury she sustained on a walk, has prevented her from having to get surgery. My dog LOVES going for her physio and the word 'physio' triggers the same reaction as the word 'walkies' and that tells me everything I need to know about how well looked after she is! Fantastic experience: Have just had my first appointment with Alba and was extremely impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail and thoroughness. Am confident that a problem I thought was only going to get worse is actually treatable with the program they will design for my specific condition.

Negative experience: All I can say is thank goodness Brid Walsh looks like she is no longer treating horses! Brid Walsh was recommended to me by the Highlands only equine practice to be involved with a lameness issue and oh my what an absolute stressful experience this was! On her last session with my pony she shrugged her shoulders and said that there is nothing more that she could do for my pony, the story certainly doesn’t end there!. When I raised my formal complaint with the practice I requested that Brid write a report of her work and what she had found as I had paid for her services I was entitled to know exactly what I had paid for! On reading the first three lines of her report I was throughly shocked by what I was reading! The report was on the completely wrong leg!! I just couldn’t believe what I was reading that somebody in a medical professional capacity would present a report for a medical record and not even check what they had presented to make sure that it was 100% accurate considering the circumstances for having to request this in the first place. I would urge anyone that has any dealings with her to make sure that you request a copy of anything that she is recording or reporting for medical procedures and purposes to make sure that each report is accurate or better still do exactly what I did and find somebody that actually knows what they are doing and how to treat medical issues that were obviously beyond her professional capacity. I took my pony less than 2 years after Brid said that there was nothing more that she could do for her to the biggest show in Scotland the Royal Highland Show where she had a very busy 4 days of competition. I also left a review on Alba Physiotherapy's social media page and to have this removed because it shows Brid to be unprofessional it gives a clear picture of the integrity of the owner of this business nothing short of a disgrace! Thankfully I had taken a picture of the review on her page.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Igor and Alba Physio enough. I developed a frozen shoulder at start of lockdown and thanks to Igor's help, advice and support, am now pain free and fully mobile. Igor and his colleagues at Alba are all so friendly and helpful. I would recommend Alba to anyone with aches, or muscle pain. 5 star and first class

The unknown cause and unpredictable onset of back spasms and pain regularly was of concern. Igor assessed me and prescribed a course of treatment. My fitness has greatly improved. I now understand my muscles and how to self help in the future. What these guys say you'll need, is what you'll need. Don't Sacrifice your long term health and recovery by cutting short your number of appointments. The practice fully complies with covid 19 regs and you are in safe hands. Highly recommend their Pilates too! Take the plunge and just book!

Fantastic experience: Having had enough of suffering back pain I contacted Alba Physio for help. The service I have received is fantastic. After being assessed at my first appointment my treatment began. Igor is very knowledgeable ,explains everything really well , sends links to demonstrate exercises in case I forget and I can contact him in between appointments if I have any queries.
