Fantastic experience: Worked with Samy to provide a structured rehabilitation program of exercises. Reviewed regularly and was given report of my progress throughout. Significant improvements made in my vestibular hypofunction. I expect to be back to normal over the next 10 days. Great work done and proffesional throughout I heartily recommend his service .

Fantastic experience: I came across DizzyCare Clinic after looking into symptoms I've had my entire life, and when I say the results of my consultations were life changing, I'm not being dramatic. After desperately researching if there was anyone else who suffered with the same symptoms as me (Unable to ride in a car/trouble with vertigo looking up or down at or from heights/struggling with crowded place and fast moving things in any form) Dr Samy confirmed vestibular dysfunction, particularly MVDS as my issue. Coming to understand what was actually going on with my body was a cathartic experience, especially given that no medical professionals had ever thought to dig deeper than generic 'anxiety' or telling me my symptoms were a side effect of being autistic. For somebody who's never had a headache to learn that I'd likely been experiencing some kind of vestibular migraine has been mind blowing. I feel with knowledge comes power, and now that I've been able to identify and learn about the condition I feel empowered to make the changes necessary to support my recovery; this is something that is so valuable to people with ANY condition, but I feel it's especially pertinent to people with unusual and lesser known conditions like this. Learning how to help my condition has been phenomenally life changing for me, to the point where in the space of 2 months I've been able to ride as a passenger in a car without a negative physical response. Vestibular problems have been something that has - completely unknowingly - held me back in life in significant and largely undefinable ways, and to think that with practice, persistence, and mindfulness of my condition, I may be able to do things I never thought would be possible for me...It's a dream I could never have imagined living. I would HIGHLY recommend DizzyCare Clinic!

Fantastic experience: My review of the Samy at the DizzyCare Clinic: I can’t recommend Samy highly enough. He seemed to be very qualified in vestibular problems and he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring throughout the process. He diagnosed me with PPPD which made way more sense for my persistent symptoms. He took the time to explain what was happening, listened carefully to my concerns, and gave me a treatment plan that genuinely helped me regain confidence and start feeling like myself again. Fantastic experience: Samy was the first medical professional to believe me and listen to me about my very real symptoms of very poor balance, coordination and feeling unwell. He noticed abnormal eye movements called oscillopsia which I hadn't known about, but explained my difficulty focusing on unmoving objects and written words. Samy gave me the tools I needed to identify my problems, especially with his suggestion to cut out inflammatory foods, and recommended I explore if my touch and sensations are affected by getting my partner to lightly touch soles of feet. I've been on a long journey, but with the validation, Samy gave me the confidence to keep pushing for referrals and testing when the NHS had been largely unhelpful for ten years of my ongoing symptoms. I have now been diagnosed with Friedrich's ataxia and sensory peripheral nerve damage. I truly believe without seeing Samy first, I would still be undiagnosed. He is a lovely person, knowledgeable and I was very impressed by his curiosity to figure out the cause of my problems when many doctors previously had shown little interest, claimed it was 'all in my head', and would offer anti anxiety and depression medication instead of bothering to look for the root cause. Highly recommend dizzycare clinic, and am very grateful to Samy for all his advice, and for believing me when everyone else was telling me it's all in my head. If others see this I would like to reassure you your symptoms are not imagined, often we know our bodies better than any Dr, keep pushing for those referrals and tests, you deserve answers and treatment. If your problems are vestibular, Samy can help you. In my case, with what we now know to be a genetic disease that is incurable, Samy was still the best place for me to start.

Fantastic experience: Samy is a knowledgable and caring professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience in his field. He is my go to vestibular therapist for my clients so naturally when I started suffering vestibular migraines myself, there was only one place to go! One of my clients refers to Samy as a wizard and having had treatment myself now, I can see why. It’s incredibly frightening to have sudden episodes of being dizzy and sick, the unpredictability of it takes over your life but Samy’s practical and caring approach works and you can really see results quite quickly. He puts you back in control and that’s so empowering.

Fantastic experience: After suffering with balance, lack of concentration, motion sickness and tiredness for over 12 months and being told I had PPPD by a NHS Neurology Consultant and my GP having no knowledge of this disorder I took matters into my own hands. Fortunately for me I found Sammy at the Dizzy Clinic. On my first visit he asked several questions regarding my symptoms and put me through a few balance/visual tests he confirmed I was suffering from Vestibular Migraine and PPPD was a result of Migraine he explained we needed to treat the Migraine along with building my neurological connections associated with balance. I have had three consultations with Sammy I’m now able to identify my migraine triggers and have worked through several exercises to strengthen my brain/body communication signals. I’m confident in dealing with my symptoms and able to take back control of my life. I would urge anyone suffering with either Vestibular Migraine or PPPD to contact the Clinic as you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Samy realised when we first met that I was almost deaf and spoke directly to me making sure I uderstood everythung. I was experiencing vertigo and was cured by Samy with one treatment. I also had some balance issues and the exercises have been very effective and trying to keep these going. He also kept my daughters involved throughout. Would thoroughly recommend Samy and the clinic was quiet and fit for purpose.

Fantastic experience: After a hefty car accident in 2024 I was left with long-term, initially undiagnosed, vestibular issues. After finding my way to Samy, I'm now hopeful I can lead a normal life again. While some symptoms will always be with me to a degree, his treatment and advice has significantly reduced my pain and discomfort - with some issues being completely healed. Fantastic experience: I first started seeing Samy around 3 months back i had ongoing dizziness for over 2 years. The doctors thought it was pots or anxiety after a lot of tests ans getting nowhere i found Samy. When I first saw him he advised I have pppd and vestibular migraine. He explained why this has happened to me and a plan going forward. Now 3 months on ive improved to around 80% which means a can get more or less back to a normal life. Before seeing Samy I was ready to basically give up on life with my job etc. Now I'm back to full time work ans able to manage most flare ups. Fantastic experience: So, almost a week after my follow up appointment with Samy, here is my review of Dizzy Care Clinic. On Wednesday 19th March out of the blue I had my first bout of horrendous room-spin – caused by me bending down and looking up to the left to see if my grill was lit. I had absolutely no idea what it was – and to be honest, I thought I may be having a stroke. I rang 111 and they sent an ambulance. The lads were helpful and took me up to A&E after checking my heart and blood pressure. The doctor at A&E said I was suffering an attack of vertigo ( I thought it was a fear of heights!). He gave me some medication which made me feel totally spaced out. I called the GP and they changed my medication to Betahistine which I was told I could only be on for a short time. The general dizziness persisted and I had another episode of room-spin turning over in bed from my left to my right side. Sitting still and not moving my head and trying to sleep propped up was really not an option for me moving forward. I did a bit of research. Realised I had 3 options, 1. Hope the problem would resolve itself – possibly months 2. Wait for a referral via NHS – probably months. 3. Find a Vestibular Therapist (never heard of it!). Based on reviews I booked an appointment with Samy for 29 March. At my appointment Samy was extremely professional and understanding. He diagnosed me with BPPV in 2 channels of my right ear. He treated me and on re-testing the crystals seemed to be back in place. I felt immediately different. We booked a follow up appointment for the 5th March. To be honest I felt really unbalanced, and dizzy on the Sunday and again on the Tuesday when I was back in front of my computer all day. Apart from those days I started to feel an improvement. Samy did explain there can be some ongoing dizziness for a while. At my follow up appointment Samy re-tested me for BPPV and confirmed the crystals had remained in place. He gave me some balance exercises to do at home – who knew I couldn’t stand on one leg! I have continued to improved although I do still sometimes feel slightly dizzy and light headed, I am hoping this will improve over time. I quite often travel alone – sometimes abroad and that was a worry for me as I know this type of vertigo can recur. Samy explained he does video consultations and could help me that way. I would have no hesitation in recommending Samy and Dizzy Care Clinic. If I have another episode I will be contacting Samy straight away – from wherever I am in the world!

Fantastic experience: Sammy truly is an expert in his specialist field! I am also a Physiotherapist and first "crossed paths" with Sammy when my Dad was suffering with symptoms of dizziness. I lived away from my family in Cornwall at the time but my dad was able to make an appointment with Sammy who successfully diagnosed and managed his BPPV. Several years ago, I personally had symptoms of dizziness and feeling unbalanced that I could not work out the pattern of, the symptoms didn't fit with vestibular symptoms that I was aware of in my own Physio experience, but I knew of a clinician that would! I had just moved to Aberdeenshire, I was able to contact Sammy and booked an online appointment where he was able to take my history and assess my symptoms. I had been having vestibular migraines - something I had not heard of before. With the diagnosis made, Sammy then over several follow-up sessions provided me with the advice and rehab that has meant that I have been symptom free for the past 18 months. When I found out that my uncle's partner had been suffering with dizziness, I knew I could confidently recommend Sammy as the clinician to help! Fantastic experience: Dr Samy came to the rescue when I was in a terrible state of dizziness - worrying I’d struggle to get back to work. He agreed to make a home visit as I wasn’t well enough to get to him. Fantastic experience: Samy corrected a mis-diagnosis of BPPV and ascertained that my dizziness was in fact vestibular migraine. After a number of investigative questions a comprehensive programme of exercises was introduced over a period of 3 months. Whilst the incidences of migraines has not disappeared, the exercises, diet monitoring and lifestyle adaptations he suggested have decreased the severity of my migraines considerably. Samy takes time to understand your individual problem and act accordingly, he is approachable and considerate and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Fantastic experience: My elderly mother-in-law had been experiencing bouts of dizziness and giddiness for quite some time for which, a number of medics could not establish the cause or the underlying problem. Samy diagnosed a balance problem in the inner ears and recommended a number of exercises and routines to lessen the effect and frequency of these bouts. Although my MiL will never overcome her problem completely, the remedies advised by Samy appear to have had a positive benefit. Fantastic experience: After a scary episode of dizzyness and nausea which totally knocked me off my feet for two days, I visited the doctors, then the hospital and was provisionally diagnosed with BPPV. I have to say that going to see Samy was the best decision i made. After a few diagnostic tests, he gave me an instant diagnosis of vestibular neuritis. I was having awful dizziness and felt a drunk feeling constantly which eventually led to me not going out alone and furthered onto depression, I attended Samys first appointment and it was refreshing to speak to someone who understood what I was going through. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Samy highly enough. Due to a bad fall last May, I was told by the doctor that I had post concussion. I found walking almost impossible with balance, headaches, dizziness and vertigo problems. This led to depression because I couldn't see how I was ever going to get better. Fortunately, a relative recommended Samy. Straight away, Samy understood my problems which were more involved than just post concussion. Treatment included exercises and diet which has helped enormously and headaches have gone completely. Most importantly, I can walk again now which is something I enjoy doing more than anything as well as feeling much more positive. Fantastic experience: I genuinely cannot recommend Samy highly enough. I am so fortunate to have found him. After several months suffering with what GPs has said was vertigo and then ENT said was not balance related I started googling and came across Samy at the DizzyCare Clinic. I was amazed (and a little apprehensive at first) when he said he could do everything online but he could and he did! He listened to me and asked me to perform simple exercises to help him diagnose my balance issue. I could have cried, in fact I may have briefly. Finally someone prepared to listen and who could explain to me what it was and why it wasn't all these things I had been told (and read about online). After the first few days of the simple exercises I started to see improvements and each resulting session Samy would challenge me more to help my brain repair itself. I think I saw Samy 4 times in total and he would regularly check on my progress providing objective measures to help me see the improvements I was making. Fantastic experience: Samy Selvanayagm at The Dizzy Care Clinic has helped me tremendously with my balance problems. I had been experiencing severe vertigo for over 2 months at my 1st appt, which he immediately diagnosed as bppv and resolved using the Epley manouevre. I also have an underlying more general balance issue related to an inner ear condition which he is also treating with a variety of specific exercises to improve my centre of balance. Samy is extremely supportive and it is very reassuring to know that I am very welcome to contact him again if I need further support.

Fantastic experience: After several years suffering with Vertigo on and off, I researched treatment available privately. I contacted Samy and after filling in a questionnaire, I had an appointment for my first consultation. He confirmed that I was suffering with 'Vestibular Migraines' Treatment, including improving my diet and exercises to do at home started and I can confirm that I am now 'back to normal' Before meeting Samy I was feeling very depressed and thinking I was going to have to 'live with' my condition. Fantastic experience: Had some dizzy spells on intermittent occasions, and I was becoming worried what was the cause. Found this clinic, and was delighted with the outcome. Samy will put you at ease, and he explained what was happening with me, and diagnosed BPPV. I had the Epley manoeuvre on my treatment days, and now I feel am back to normality . After suffering bouts of motion sickness, what was first thought to be Labyrinthitis turned out to be Vestibular Migraine. Fantastic experience: I had a head injury in 1996 and had mri scans and over the years been to various doctors about my dizzy spells and nobody got to grips with the problem some even said that I was wasting their time. Fantastic experience: Title: Miraculous Recovery of Vertigo through Video consultation. Thank you, Mr Samy. My father is 67 years of age living hale & healthy in a small town Salem, Tamilnadu, India. On Saturday morning at 5 am (13/08/22) he had an acute bout of wild dizziness accompanied by vomiting and head spinning. The same day he went to a local emergency department where he went through extensive investigations for heart and brain issues but luckily they all came out clear. The physician who examined him at the emergency noticed nystagmus (abnormal eye movements) and diagnosed him with BPPV and advised bedrest and prescribed generic Dizziness medications. My dad's symptoms did not improve and he lost hope of living a normal life again. We couldn’t bear to see him suffering from vertigo and we were desperate to help him. Through word of mouth, we came to know about Mr Samy, a vertigo specialist at the DizzyCare Clinic in the UK. We contacted Samy and he returned our Whatsapp call on the same day even though it was a weekend and offered my dad an appointment and saw him through the Whatsapp video call. Considering how even the face-to-face consultation at the emergency care and all the investigations did not help get rid of my dad's dizziness, we did not have much faith in the effectiveness of the remote consultation. Certain positional tests made my dad dizzy while others were not that bad. At the end of the examination, Samy explained to my dad about his findings in a simple language so that we all can understand what was causing my dad's vertigo. He also explained the treatment procedure /steps that he will be doing to help get rid of my dad's vertigo. My dad was very keen to get the treatment done immediately, therefore, Samy proceeded to treat him. Samy Guided my dad with the treatment procedure and I helped my dad to do the movements and I assisted him. The whole treatment lasted less than 10 minutes. My dad felt a huge relief after the session. And he followed the post-treatment instructions as recommended by Samy for 24 hours. My dad’s vertigo completely resolved the following morning. And Samy’s review later that day confirmed the cure of my Dad’s BPPV. It was good to see my dad again in his oldself and he is now back in his active life again without the fear of a vertigo attack. We, as a family, thank Samy from the bottom of our hearts for making my father normal from the disabling BPPV. Fantastic experience: After being diagnosed with Vestibular Migraine, i decided to contact a Vestibular physiotherapist for treatment. I found Sammy on the web. Sammy knew exactly what i was going through and after suggesting some changes in lifestyle and diet and completing a number of vestibular rehabilitation exercises i am now able to carry out normal day to day activities and return to work. Negative experience: Really did not not help me, came up with lots of theories but none of them actually worked, video calls never fix dizziness problems Far too quick to fall back on things that he can't control, like anxiety and stress, like with everyone else these two conditions can give you anything the medical people want you to have I do not recommend this clinic, you have to fit the pattern like everyone else, if you have had a head trauma definitely don't go here
