Fantastic experience: I chose Hayden at the Natural Health Centre because of his background in sports therapy, as I’ve been having issues with my glutes while training for Ben Nevis. He quickly identified what was going on and did a great job of straightening me out. I felt a big difference afterwards and got some much-needed relief. Really pleased with the treatment and I’ll most likely be back to see Hayden both before and after the Ben Nevis climb. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: For many years I have had aches in my knees which I’ve ignored; but as I’ve got older I want maintain my health and fitness, and was worried that these clicks and pains could be the signs of something more serious. I booked an osteopathy session with Liam Thomas and attempted to explain my symptoms. Li was very patient, asked questions and really helped me understand what is going on under the skin. He proceeded to ‘work his magic’ on my legs – taking time for me to notice what was happening and relay this back to him. As someone who has never done this before it was a lot less daunting than I thought it would be. Li gave my knees a clean bill of health, and gave me exercises to ensure no permanent damage it done. This gave me confidence that Li’s priority was me, not signing me up to weekly sessions. If you have aches, pains or feel that something isn’t right then I have no hesitation that you book a consultation at the Natural Health Centre. The peace of mind massively outweighs the financial cost of a single appointment, and should follow up sessions be needed you can be confident in the professionalism of the treatment you will receive.

Fantastic experience: I found this place by luck whilst looking for a last minute sports massage due to a niggle I had. I managed to book in the next morning and this was with Li Thomas, after a quick chat and explanation of what my issue was Li had a good idea what it was but explained it clearly in layman’s terms for me to understand. By the end of the session i felt much better and had a lot more insight into the issue. I will definitely be visiting here again and booking in with Li. Highly recommend Li and the natural health centre.

Fantastic experience: The level of service and quality result from the Natural Health Centre has been nothing short of excellent. Having had RSI for several years with no signs of improvement, I made an initial Acupuncture appointment with Marcus, and the improvement was almost instant! After 2 sessions, my wrist is back to exactly how it used to be, with me returning for single monthly sessions to keep things up. Thanks so much to Natalie and Marcus for all their help!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I attended an outdoor Pilates class which took place up the Ridgeway watching the sunset. It was the perfect balance of relaxing, working hard and fun. It was the perfect evening and I can’t wait to attend more. I also had monthly Osteopath treatments with Hayden at the Natural Health Clinic in the lead up to my marathon, it worked wonders. Hayden has always been my 1st point of call for any niggles and injuries and he has always helped so quickly.

Fantastic experience: I visit the Natural Health Centre as I was recommended it from a colleague. I had an issue with my knee having injured it whilst running. Booking an appointment was really easy and Natalie was very welcoming when I arrived. Hayden was very thorough with my initial assessment and he got things moving again. He also gave me exercises to work with in order to build up strength and mobility in my knee to help protect and prevent future issues. The Natural Health Centre have a number of different services they can offer from different disciplines. I would highly recommend getting in touch with them and they will advise you on what treatment could best work for you.

Fantastic experience: I have had spasms and pain in my lower back and having had no success from treatment in my home town I drove 1.5 hours to come back to the Natural Health Centre in Newbury which previously treated me when I lived there. I received osteopathic treatment from Hayden Bedwell who uses the same treatment approach of Kim Burnett who used to own the clinic. In one treatment my back problem has eased significantly. It’s worth the travel to be seen by someone who really specialises in what they do and can make a difference in the very first appointment. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Marcus has performed magic on a shoulder issue causing discomfort for the last 18 months. The use of acupuncture was suggested as a possible remedy by a spinal surgeon, I had no experience of such treatments but after 2 months I realised the discomfort was subsiding thanks to Marcus and his meticulous application of his science and art. What a fabulous alternative to more invasive medicine and it really has made an enormous difference.

Fantastic experience: After a lower back spasm, I tried 4 sessions of acupuncture. Marcus gave me an excellent introduction to acupuncture and by the fourth session, symptoms were somewhat relieved. I conclude that the treatment was beneficial, particularly recognising complications with lower back pain, which can have many root causes. I recommend Marcus.

Fantastic experience: I started to see Marcus at The Natural Health centre for acupuncture as I had been reading up on Qi so wanted to try acupuncture for myself. Marcus has helped me with a number of things including relieving stress, he has worked on my knee that I had pain in when walking my dog which has been there for years, this pain has now gone! Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Mel Harrison, an osteopath at the Natural Health Centre for a number of years about a succession of shoulder injuries. I don't know the technical details of how she does it, but in two cases she has managed to manipulate them back to pain-free health. In the third, she felt that medical intervention would be a better way forward and this proved to be the case. Mel is brilliant at what she does - a true professional but is also a pleasure to see.

Fantastic experience: I had done something to my back whilst cutting the top of a hedge, but I didn't know what. It was a minor niggling issue down my legs to start with, which I thought would sort itself out. However, after a month of it getting worse and worse and travelling all over my back and sides (I shouldn't have waited so long!), I decided it was time for professional help as it was still very painful, and I didn't want to take painkillers every 4 hours forever!!!! I've been using the Natural Health Centre for about 30 years when it comes to back problems, so it was the obvious choice. I would normally book Kim, however she was busy and I'd reached the end of my tether, so I booked Isabel for her next available slot, which was luckily the next morning... As a 'patient', you're always a bit nervous about seeing someone new, however Isabel displayed the same attention to detail in diagnoses, knowledge of the problem, and skill in treatment, as I'd had from Kim over the years, so I needn't have worried....she was absolutely amazing, and has totally sorted my back out for me!! I think that the moral of this review, aside from heartily recommending the Natural Health Centre, is to not just to wait and see if your back sorts itself out, but to get treatment after a few days, as it won't go away on its own. Still, this is a review, so thank you very much Kim and Isabel.
