Fantastic experience: Sharing for my husband. My burly builder husband hurt his bank on a job. Despite a few weeks of stretching, rest, tens machine it was not going away. Saw Alex and he was immediately put at ease. He asked all the right questions, was extremely positive about my husband"s prognosis, and started work on his body. I was amazed at the difference. After 2 sessions he was standing taller, moving more freely and with almost no spasms down his legs. Saw Alex 3 times and he now knows how to manage any spasms, which are almost gone. All I can say is that he is the best of the best been to loads of osteopaths since I lived down here (26 years) and haven't know anything or anyone like him. A relatively young man, softly spoken, he presents in a totally professional manner & is well qualified & experienced in his field of work. A careful & thoughtful listener the first appointment is a detailed assessment of your medical background before starting any treatment. Following the first session he always asks about your feelings on progress since previous treatment, checking on both your physical & mental/emotional wellbeing today. He is responsive to additional problems & flexible on types of treatment from session to session. He is very sensitive to your safety, explaining what he is doing as each treatment progresses. Treatment is gentle, as strong as needs be but very careful, at times extremely relaxing too. I have always felt safe in his hands & left feeling better. Fees are reasonable, follow up appointments available but there is absolutely no pressure to have more treatment than required. An excellent practitioner that I can recommend without any hesitation. Literally a very safe pair of hands.

Fantastic experience: Alex is fantastic! After having a knee injury, I was referred to an NHS physio where I was told to strengthen it. I then had a PT helpfully programme some rehab exercises based on what the physio told me. After months and months it wasn’t improving, so I ditched it all and decided to give Alex a go. I’d never been to an osteo before so didn’t know what to expect, but was desperate for a fix. After some investigation, Alex suggested what he thought it could be. I followed his plan, and within a week my knee felt so much better! Before, I would struggle to walk on hikes longer than 2 hours, week before last I managed a 5 hour hike with no pain! I’d really recommend Alex, he’s very knowledgeable, friendly, no pressure and reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Alex in Old Town clinic in Hastings for a few months to help increase the mobility in my upper back caused by a slight scoliosis which is exacerbated by breastfeeding and generally running around after small children. Alex has been brilliant at listening to my problems and helping to provide relief and improvement to an area that is quite tricky to mobilise. He also sends me home with lots of exercises so I can maintain the movement between visits.

Alex assessed and quickly ascertained the area of my back to work on and also identified areas that weren't painful but that were actually holding tension and he released these too. I visited Alex who was excellent. Listened to my condition , treated and gave me some exercises to use. 3 weeks later another treatment and the results were impressive. My shoulder had seized for three weeks and he completely helped realign and identify my neck and shoulder issues, gave me exercises and a follow up appointment to check how it's all going.
