Fantastic experience: Very friendly service. I’ve been in 3 or 4 times over a couple of years for pain from issues of alignment in my neck and hips. Having had no success with the NHS who only wanted to prescribe painkillers or anti depressants I was a little skeptical about chiropractic after a bad experience with another place on Priestgate which wanted £800 for treatment over 4 months. Happily my skepticism was misplaced when it came to Ashwood. I was treated by Simon and the first appointment included a questionnaire about medical history and health in all areas not just the issue I came for help with. Initially he said I might need to see him 4 times in order to fix the problem, but after two sessions (total) said anything further at that time would be unnecessary as I was doing much better. I left feeling better than I had in many months and without having to spend as much as I’d expected to, a win-win. I’ve been back since, at roughly 6 month intervals as my job is quite physical and can cause flare ups and each time he has gotten me back on the right track. I would definitely recommend them. I highly recommend Ashwood Chiropractic to anyone seeking quality chiropractic care.After having the worse unbearable jaw pain due to constant tooth grinding I was recommended to Edel who did some cranial sacral therapy that has literally changed my life.Not only was I 90% pain free after my 1st session,as a result I have had NO migraines either.I had been under hospital for investigations and after brain scans and lots of pain controlling medication (that didn't work) I have been pain free and am no longer taking any medication for it.I didn't go for help with my migraines it's just a bonus that my treatment has helped with my whole head…literally pure magic

Positive experience: The website of this practice shows they are registered with certain professional bodies, which was a key reason why I chose them to be able to claim the expense from my insurance. However, not all their practitioners are. This means I wasn’t able to claim the expense of my first visit who was with a practitioner without this registration. When I raised that’s misleading as not a transparent way of communicating important information, one of the directors responded that it was - for them. Both practitioners have done a good job, hence three instead of one star. It could have been five if the leadership were more professional.

Fantastic experience: Highly recomend ashwoods especially nikki slipped my l4 l5 disc picking a hay bale up on a saturday, figured pulled muscle rang up that monday 10 30 got a urgent appointment for 1 that afternoon, been again since and had another session and now nearly pain free and on the mend. Fantastic experience: Have never used a chiropractor before. I'd had a few problems, but rest had always worked. Not this time. I couldn't walk, was in constant agony (and I mean agony), and realised I needed professional help. My girlfriend recommended Ashwood Chiropractic Clinic, so I went along and saw Simon. He did a thorough review of my medical history, explained what he was doing, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He did one treatment session and I was a lot better (pain went from a 9 to a 3). The second session was a lot quicker and afterwards I was pain free for the first time in around a month. Absolute bliss! I would have no hesitation in recommend Simon and his clinic to anyone. Please don't suffer any longer than you have to.

Fantastic experience: I have been three times now to see Nicola. On my first visit I was hardly able to move and had alot of pain in my lower back plus a leaning torso. Nicola was very friendly, informative and professional. I left feeling great after my first consultation. Nicola advised me on how to take care of my back at home and advised me what form of exercise to do. I will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I always see Edel and there's usually at least a couple of weeks wait which speaks to her popularity. However, she is well worth the wait with her 'magic' fingers and her ability to find and resolve the problem. If you haven't tried the McTimoney method before, it is hugely different to traditional chiropractic. So gentle you wonder if she's doing anything with results that are truly amazing. No pain, just gain. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic, I've had back problems for a long while and they soon had me feeling much better. They offer a gentle treatment which is honestly so much better than some chiros who just want to crack you in half. Very respectful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with carpel tunnel, by my GP. After various tests and numerous visits to the hospital, I was told I will need surgery. I did not want this so contacted Edel and after just one treatment she had treated what turned out to be a trapped nerve in my neck and I was much more comfortable with no more symptoms of carpel tunnel!

Fantastic experience: July 2014 I had a fall whilst at home and landed on my bottom stayed in hospital for a week, was at home for 8 weeks slowly getting about on crutches, made a appointment to see Edel because I was still having trouble in getting about without my crutches in the house. After my appointment with Edel I could stand up straight and walk about much more easily without crutches, after about a month I was able to return to work with thanks to Edel and her gentle treatment, I still have regular monthly appointments to keep topped up. Negative experience: I went 2 months ago with really back pain and hyperkyphosis caused for the pain, and when I finish my therapy I felt really worst, even with pinch nerve in my leg. Monica

Negative experience: Went in with some lower back and slight leg pain came out hardly able to walk after the treatment. Thought maybe gets worse before it gets better. Couldn't sleep due to the pain the night of my treatment and still a week later the pain in my leg is excruciating.....absolute joke of a place.......really have to question if they know what they're doing. Am in 10x more pain now than I was when I went in.
