The initial on line booking process was easy and the web site full of useful information. The receptionist was warm and friendly putting me at ease from the start. Fantastic experience: Over the years I’ve seen several specialists for treatment on my back and I can honestly say, I wish I had found Helen years ago!!! You never know what to expect on your first appointment but I came away feeling so much more knowledgeable and actually understood everything Helen had said, she explained everything in great detail but in a way you’ll understand even better when she shows you exactly what the problems are and how they’re affecting other parts of the body. Helen really listens to what you’re saying as well and takes note of everything and throughout the appointment she explains what she’s going to do and how it is going to benefit and help. It’s the first time in a long time I can feel the treatment is going to be so worthwhile. I would recommend Helen to anybody without a doubt :)

Fantastic experience: I have been experiencing chronic back pain for nearly 6 years due to a motorcycle accident and no GP, Chiropractor or Physiotherapist could figure out why. All I had to do was point to the spot that was causing the pain and within seconds of examining me Sally had an answer. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Trowbridge Osteopaths, I saw Sally last year for some niggling back pain which was quickly fixed after a few sessions. Unfortunately this year, I experienced excruciating pain down my right leg and returned to the centre for some further treatment. After some strong advice from Sally, she made me realise the necessity of getting an MRI for my sciatic pain. She recognised that my injury required a scan as soon as possible and I was not improving. Thankfully I took her advice and found out I had a prolapsed disc. I would not hesitate to go back for further treatments in the future.

Fantastic experience: I had my first session with Sally Bonnell on 8th May, she was a lovely lady, very pleasant and actually listened to what I had to say, took loads of information from me about my health and done some work on me. I had headaches for 10 weeks continuous, I had been to my GP and was told it was tension headaches and prescribed medication, which were not for headaches but an antidepressant. I only took one as I felt like a zombie. I went back to the GP on the 10th week and was then told it was arthritis at the top of my spine. I went to Sally and it was like a miracle, she worked on me for about 15 minutes due to the consultation, and the very next day, I actually woke up without a headache. The last ten days I have had very slight headaches on the odd day, I can’t believe after 10 weeks of suffering, she actually made me feel so much better. I’m so looking forward to the next session with her. She gave me some exercises to do and to cut down on my ipad, which I have done, cut down to half hour a day now and the exercises help a lot. Fantastic experience: After being recommended by a neighbour, I have been inflicting Sally with my various joint problems over the past 3 years. Why do I keep going back you ask ? Well first she always starts by listening intently to work out what the nature of the problem is before using her expertise to come up with a solution. It is refreshing to find someone who is knowledgeable, caring, passionate about her work and is prepared to go above and beyond what I have experienced from other medical professionals. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Claire enough. She identified a herniated disc that had been misdiagnosed by my GP within minutes of my first appointment, helped arrange an MRI, and then gave me advice on a clear pathway to recovery as well as writing to my physio making recommendations. After months of exercises that have made me feel worse (due to the misdiagnosis) I'm 100% confident that i'm on the road to recovery, thanks to her. Anything Musculoskeletal in the future, Claire will be my first port of call.

After watching her work her magic on my 8 week old son 6 years ago, it was evident that she was highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable and had great interpersonal skills, that instantly put me at ease. My son and myself have continued to visit ever since, despite moving her practice from Bath to Trowbridge. Sally's advice and treatments not only give me physical relief, but mental relief too, knowing that someone so experienced is taking care of me and diagnosing the issues correctly.

Fantastic experience: It was my first experience of having to use an osteopath and I can honestly say that these guys are amazing. All staff are lovely, polite and helpful. I had 2 sessions with Sally for a shoulder injury and she was fantastic. I like to know what's happening with my body and thought I'd annoy her with questions about why things were happening the way that they were etc, but she was incredibly patient, informative and kind. I ended up having 2 rounds of shockwave therapy and I now have a useable shoulder again! Fantastic experience: I saw Sally with issues regarding my shoulder. Due to the physicality of my job and the amount of training I do it was extremely important for me to get the issue fixed. I had recurring shoulder and neck pain and Sally was extremely thorough in her assessment and explained very clearly what my treatment plan was going to be. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to Trowbridge Osteopaths & Wellbeing centre a few times now with a few issues like my neck being stuck in spasm, lower back pain and other issues. I always see Sally as she was the first person I saw on my very first appointment, but there are other people you can see, who I am sure are just as good as Sally. Sally makes you feel welcome and relaxed as I know getting your muscles and bones cracked and massaged can be a scary thought, however, Sally very quickly makes sure you are aware of everything she is doing so you know what to expect. I would highly recommend going here if you have any issues with muscles or body. I wouldn’t go to any other place.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended the Baby First Aid course and thoroughly recommend it to anyone who spends time with babies and infants- in fact, I'd say it is essential! We covered various conditions including those requiring immediate attention and which could easily be missed, along with what to do in an emergency. Although I'd done some first aid before, the methods/ procedures are quite different for babies and infants and I feel so much more confident with the knowledge and practice gained. The clinic provided a really supportive, friendly atmosphere and Sally is an excellent and hugely knowledgable teacher.

Fantastic experience: I first went to Sally about 8 months ago after being wrongly diagnosed with Migraines for over 7 years. I suffered from a constant headache which turned out to be a tension headache and this came with other unwanted symptoms. The medication the doctor put me on had horrible side effects and I wanted to be free of it. Sally found the issue causing the tension headaches within minutes of seeing me, I only wish I had gone to her sooner. Sally is very honest and doesn't do anything that is unnecessary, I have had several appointments where she has done a quick review of me and sent me on my way without charge. I'm now free from tension headaches and medication thanks to Sally's expertise.

Fantastic experience: I had an initial consultation appointment with Sally this morning, she was extremely helpful and explained the exact reason for the pain I have been experiencing in my elbow, wrist and thumb. Through her expertise she explained and drew pictures of what needed to be done to rectify the inflammation along with sharing pictures and information she’d found on line. Fantastic experience: I have been working with Sally since July for Fibromyalgia, Sally has a great understanding of it and similar conditions and what will help reduce pain. My first visit was extremely informative and Sally made me feel really comfortable, she explained everything she was doing and asked permission to make any adjustments and still does now. She very quickly told me that she suspected a fracture of my shoulder and advised me to go straight to the local hospital for an x-ray. Her diagnosis was spot on and I am now awaiting treatment from the fracture unit in the RUH Bath. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Sally highly enough. I was at a point where I was beginning to think that I may have to make a career change due to shoulder problems. My wife found Trowbridge Osteopaths on line and made an appointment for me. After a consultation and a few movement tests with Sally, she was able to work out the issues I had and set about sorting my shoulders out. After just one visit there was a remarkable improvement. Fantastic experience: Achilles Tendonopathy - Shockwave Therapy with Sally. Background. While I was running back in August last year my right Achilles became very painful. This increased overnight. After rest I tried to run again, but each time I did it flared up, taking days to become bearable. Treatment. I finally engaged with an NHS Physio in December '21, where I was prescribed a number of exercises to strengthen the Achilles. To cut a very long story short, these exercises had no positive impact whatsoever. I did however look into other treatments, and proposed these to my Physio, who suggested I investigate Shockwave Therapy. I'm now two months on from my first Shockwave Therapy with Sally, and quite honestly it's as close to a miracle cure as I could have ever expected. Today I ran my first 10k for 11 months! Only my fitness is preventing from running further and faster. I'm now in a position to train for my goal of running a Half Marathon quicker at 49 than I did at 33. The treatment itself is uncomfortable rather than painful, and Sally carefully plans the subsequent treatments to achieve the best results. This really isn't a costly exercise. If I'd been told back in January that in two weeks I could start running again rather than the estimated 6 more months of physio I'd have started the Shockwave Therapy immediately! Aside from the actual treatment, I've found Trowbridge Osteopaths and Wellbeing to be an fantastic organisation. I get appointment reminders, value for money, and a polite, professional, caring, listening service. If I could have given "six stars" I would have.

Fantastic experience: I came to Sally with problems with my back and spine. I had moved a sofa about 10 months ago and injured my shoulder which gradually got worse to the extent that I could not move my neck and was loosing sensation and muscle in my left arm. Within the hour of my appointment Sally could see and explain exactly what was going on and put together a treatment plan. Week by week I have seen steady improvement and I can now sleep without taking ibruprofen for the first time in 4 months! The tinnitus and headaches are much less and I can now see how the muscles in my neck pulled on my spine and rib. Sally has been amazing…her professionalism, caring and clear nature have helped me to make a quick recovery. I cannot recommend the team enough!
