He played a huge role in my recovery after an ankle injury back in August, and thanks to his guidance, I’m now back playing football again - something that felt a long way off at the time. More importantly, he supported me throughout the entire journey, keeping me motivated and on track.

Whilst receiving treatment for another issue I happened to ask whether she could help with my very painful foot that I was waiting for a hospital appointment on the NHS for. After a thorough examination Chloe suggested shock wave therapy. The relief was immediate and after several further treatments I am pain and symptom free. Chloe is so knowledgeable and friendly too. 5 star service

Fantastic experience: I recently got in touch with Motum about some physio for my mum who after suffering a stroke and broken hip had several wasted visits with other physios. I had a lovely email back from Chloe and now 4 visits later I've never seen my mum so positive about the future. She's gone from just accepting that she will always be in pain and walk with a stick to looking and feeling stronger, doing regular small exercises that have really helped her core strength and being told by lovely Chloe that she won't need her stick soon! Fantastic experience: I had come to accept that surgery was likely the next step to address my hip pain and reduced mobility, but Chris at Motum has been great. I now have a clear understanding of the underlying joint issue, the pain has reduced and I understand the steps I need to take going forward to manage my condition effectively.

Fantastic experience: About five weeks ago, after running a half marathon, I picked up Achilles tendinopathy in my left Achilles. It was really swollen and painful, and had this sticky, pulling sensation every time I tried to move. I could hardly walk without getting sharp pains after trying to exercise again. A friend recommended Motum so I decided to give it a try. From the first appointment, Rob was reassuring and really clear about what was going on. The mix of shockwave therapy, hands on treatment, and the simple exercises he gave me to do at home have really made a difference. The swelling has settled and the sticky feeling has eased a lot. My movement is almost back to normal and we’re now working on building the strength back up so I can gradually get back into to running. If you’re dealing with an injury and want proper support from someone who listens and explains things well, I’d definitely recommend Motum and Rob!

Fantastic experience: I’ve worked with a few physios in the past, but Chris really stands out. When a previous physio told me to just rest, I got a second opinion from Motum and I’m so glad I did. His hands-on, progressive approach reduced my recovery time from several months of rest to just 6–8 weeks of structured rehab before I was back to normal activity. Since then, I’ve gone back to Chris for various niggles and never hesitate to book in. I am active in the gym and play sport most days, so getting back to my routine quickly and safely was really important to me. If you’re in doubt, I highly recommend Motum.

Fantastic experience: After months of struggling with a sore hip, unable to cross my leg and causing sleepless nights And affecting my ability to cycle. My first act of dealing with it was yoga, which allowed a lot of movement and took a bit of the pain away, however I then bit the bullet and took professional help. Chris was an absolute delight to work with and identified the issue as a cam infringement and over the next 6 sessions gave me my quality of life back. I’m back cycling and for the first time in months I can feel power through both legs rather than just one and increased performance in my output. Fantastic experience: Just like to thank Chris for sorting a prompt appointment to sort the wife's back last Monday after hurting it Friday at the gym. Going from hardly being able to move over the weekend and in a lot pain to saying she "feels like a new woman" after her physio session with Dan. Fantastic experience: Chris @ Motum has been instrumental in helping my son get back to activity after a serious knee injury. Chris is an excellent physio, he sets achievable yet challenging exercises which my son enjoys completing. His sessions are challenging and fun at the same time! Each week we have set a plan for the week ahead allowing my son to develop strength and return to activity with expert guidance. Fantastic experience: Chris was recommended by a friend to work on tendinitis in my Achilles heel. After a few treatments it was sorted much to my relief . Physio, ultrasound and acupuncture did the trick . Very professional and friendly and immaculate premises. Fantastic experience: I was originally referred to Chris from a top local runner as I was having foot pain. Chris was extremely responsive and was able to see me within a few days (waiting times at other local firms were in excess of one month). After the first session Chris quickly identified the cause and we agreed on shockwave therapy sessions with routine exercises to complete. This resulted in relief and I am now back up and running. Chris is flexible, responsive, professional and I would recommend him highly.

Fantastic experience: Can’t speak highly enough of Rob at Motum. I visited him 6 days before a half marathon with a calf injury. He immediately identified a trapped nerve in my pelvis and set about freeing it off. There was no rush, he took his time making sure I was comfortable with what he was doing and explaining everything at the same time. I went home with some exercises to do, again clearly explained and returned for another session 3 days later. As a result, not only was I able to participate in the race but I achieved a PB. For such a young guy he is knowledgeable and confident in his approach. I will definitely return. Thankyou Rob.

Fantastic experience: Chris is absolutely amazing at what he does I’ve been having treatment for a trapped nerve in my neck and running my own salon I was worried I might not be able to work as it was too painful to do my job , but he’s fixed me ! Fantastic experience: The best PT! I’ve had many experiences with PTs over the last 15 years for an ongoing back issue but none of them have ever managed to really help with the issue. I finally decided to give another ago through recommendations and I’m so glad I did!’ I’ve experienced chiropractors, cranial osteopaths, osteopaths, acupuncture but Chris can do it all! Not just a physio he can do anything that helps including PT whereas previous physios have basically just given out a few exercises and left me to it! He is so knowledgable and invested in client recovery that he will accommodate whatever you need in your recovery. I would trust no one else with my recovery and would recommend him to anyone who has any issue.

Fantastic experience: Sessions at motum where a game changer for me. I was experiencing hamstring pain that would not go. However after a consultation at motum and various sessions including massage, strength and conditioning and reformer work the pain subsided. Since then we regularly work on other aspects of my body to become stronger and more robust. I couldn’t recommend Motum highly enough the team and facilities are fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of these guys. My son played for Shrewsbury Town and we used them for the odd injury that he picked up. Unfortunately in 2022 he tore his ACL at the age of 14 and these guys fully rehabilitated him back full fitness.

Fantastic experience: Came in with Osteitis Pubis to see Skitty having being told elsewhere I could be missing 3 months of football. After 3/4 sessions weekly with Chris I was back out on the pitch and a month on from that I am feeling back to my best. Can’t thank him enough!! HIGHLY Recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a a stroke late 2022 which left me virtually immobile. Chris started to work with me and thanks to his skill, patience and encouragement, I can now walk, initially with a frame then graduating to a quad-stick. Without him, I fear I would still be confined to my bed or chair. It has been a long and difficult journey but having Chris to coax and guide me literally every step of the way has been the best part of it all. He has given me back part of my life that I thought was lost forever.

Fantastic experience: I would unreservedly recommend Chris to anyone who needs physio. I’ve been seeing Chris since being diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knee and the difference he has made is phenomenal. After being told by my GP that I would never lift again I went from being mostly inactive due to my knee to back into Olympic lifting and strength training multiple times a week. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional and always super encouraging. I could not recommend him more!

Fantastic experience: I reached out to Chris when menopause caused me to develop severe shoulder pain( suspected rotator cuff) it was disturbing my sleep and day to day life.
