Fantastic experience: I'm a quite fit 80 year old with a dodgy back which had been giving me a lot of problems in the second half of 2025. I have had 6 sessions with Vicky spread over a 12 week period. She has been excellent in all ways and has even managed to modify my behaviour of switching from complete rest to excessive exercising! The result is that I have decided to walk the Camino de Santiago with my wife in 2027. This will involve crossing the Pyrenees and walking between 100km and 800km. If we achieve our aim we will bring a present back from Spain for Vicky. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: After viewing and performing neck exercises online for dizziness related to posture and neck problems I found myself ln a worse position suffering daily headaches .i was recommended to vicky at select physio I found vicky warm friendly and very knowledgeable after a course of acupuncture and physio I find myself well on the road to recovery I would highly recommend Vicky the message here is seek a professionals help don’t google

Following a total hip replacement, Vicky provided key physio support and advice which has enabled me return to full normality in under 10 weeks post surgery. I am now back doing all exercising/activities prior to surgery. Vicky is an excellent physio, very approachable and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I first attended Select Physio several weeks ago as this was recommended by my orthopaedic consultant, throughout the weeks I have been given treatment by Vicky and given various exercises to do, to help me with my hip. Vicky was very helpful, friendly and professional throughout my treatment period. I am now pleased to say I am a lot more mobile and active. I would certainly recommend this Physio practise.

Fantastic experience: First time visit with a very stiff neck and shoulder. One session freed up my neck and improved overall mobility immensely. Further good advice on simple exercises to do at home to help prevent any further issues.

Fantastic experience: Vicky has been treating my daughter Lucy for the last 3 months following a dislocated knee injury. From the first visit and examination Vicky made her feel relaxed, she has built up the exercises slowly and patiently, not only that she has helped restore Lucy’s confidence. She is now back playing netball and horse riding. Lucy has been greatly encouraged by Vicky each session and in she turn has committed to doing the exercises set in between each visit. We can’t recommend Vicky highly enough, she is a pleasure to deal with and has been absolutely excellent.

She immediately honed in on the source of discomfort I've been experiencing with my back for a few years, and I can feel a huge difference just after one treatment. Highly recommended! 6 month edit: now, 6 months later, I can barely remember how I felt before starting treatment with Vicky. I'm now completely free of pain and have recovered mobility I didn't even know I'd lost! With Vicky's guidance it has been easy to maintain these improvements with exercises and small adjustments to my day to day life. I can't recommend Vicky and Select Physio strongly enough. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Vicky and her team highly enough! My first trip there was the result of a torn Soleus muscle (no, I hadn't heard of it either!). Vicky got that sorted in short order and when I found that I need a hip replacement, she has guided me through that treatment "maze" and kept me fit enough to keep doing what I enjoy meanwhile. You will not regret a visit to Select Physio.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Natalie for several months following a vestibular diagnosis. She has helped me enormously. I was struggling with balance issues and was having difficulty coping with everyday situations. She put together a programme of exercises and challenges to help me achieve my goals and to gain a better understanding of this complicated condition. She was very patient and listened to all my concerns and by working together she has enabled me to regain my confidence. Fantastic experience: I had been experiencing pain in the right hip area which was diagnosed as greater trochanteric pain. After being referred to Select Physio, I had a thorough initial consultation with Natalie. She quickly spotted other muscular areas that were also troublesome and devised a programme of treatment, including massages, on going strength testing and exercises to perform at home. After a relatively short period of time the pain is now virtually gone. I can now self manage with exercises at home to further improve the now very minimal pain felt only at very extreme movement. I am so pleased with the treatment I have received and would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is my first experience using a physio after struggling with an ankle issue for a several months. Select Physio have been brilliant. All the staff are really lovely and approachable and the facility is in a lovely rural location. Vicky is brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly. She took the time to breakdown the cause of my pain and how we were going to approach it with treatment. The exercise homework is manageable and is built up when I’m ready. I’m definitely seeing an improvement and starting to feel confident that I can restart training again.

Vicky treated a disc injury in my lower back which was a result of lifting heavy weights and she was so accommodating and flexible in fitting me in her very busy schedule. She is an amazing physio with a lovely bedside manner. After an initial assessment, she was quickly able to identify and treat the problem. I can’t thank Vicky enough. Fantastic experience: Vicky treated me over a 6 month period, after I suffered a prolapsed disc. The standard of care was fantastic, from the actual physical physio and accupuncture, right through to setting realistic goals and ensuring that I was patient with my recovery. From 12 weeks off work, sleeping on the lounge floor, to being able to run, cycle and swim, 12 months later, I owe an awful lot to Vicky. Having suffered the same injury herself, she knew exactly what I was going through. I could not recommend Vicky and the team enough.

Fantastic experience: Vicky treated me ‘virtually’ during the covid19 lockdown after I rolled my ankle on a run. I was amazed at how quickly and easily she was able to diagnose my injury via a video call - looking at bruising, swelling and pain points to identify the injured ligaments. She then showed me how to tape my ankle to aid the recovery, before showing me progressive strengthening exercises to do. It might seem an unconventional way to see a physio, but necessary in the current times and I’m really glad I reached out for help as it’s helped me get back up and running faster and with less chance of reinjuring myself. Not only is Vicky an excellent physiotherapist but she has a lovely manner as well and didn’t make me feel like I was over exaggerating my injury. If you’re struggling with any sports injury I highly recommend Select Physio.

We had a FaceTime consultation and Vicky was able to tell what I had done and recommended specific exercises to help. Within a couple of days doing the exercises and using heat as suggested my back was so much better. Cannot thank you enough Vicky! Fantastic experience: 2 months of what I thought were running-induced shin splints, resolved within one 10 minute online consultation with Sarah. I had self-diagnosed, incorrectly, my issue as shin splints and after 2 months of shin splints exercises (found online) with no improvement and unable to run more than 5 minutes due to pain, I contacted Select Physio. I had a video consultation with Sarah who was absolutely brilliant. She was very thorough; looking at my pain, it’s regularity and location alongside observing my foot pronation and looking at my stance. She quickly diagnosed the actual issue as a soleus problem, which is not something I’d ever heard of before and gave me some rehab techniques and exercises to improve things. Within 3 days of doing the prescribed exercises my pain had gone, I couldn’t believe it! But the proof is in the pudding - I ran 12k just 3 days after my consultation with Sarah completely pain free! Unbelievable. So if you’re a runner, struggling with a niggly pain and unable to pound those pavements, don’t hesitate to contact Sarah. Finally I’m back doing what I love!

Fantastic experience: I visited Vicky at Select Physio after 18 months of shoulder and neck pain. After trying multiple nhs funded and private treatments, I'd only ever received short term results and very unclear diagnosis / advice. From my first consultation with Vicky, i felt a sense of relief. She made me feel immediately comfortable and took the time to listen and show empathy. Vicky was as eager as I was to get to the root of the problem and clearly explained how and why she thought this might be happening. We discussed a treatment plan which included some in-house procedures as well as easy, home exercises and tips on how to deal with everyday environments like work and driving. I was feeling better and better each week and I honestly couldn't wait to re-book my next appointment! Every visit felt like seeing an old friend and we were mutually excited to review my progress each week. I can absolutely say that my time at Select Physio was worth every penny. Fantastic experience: The team at Select Physio are fab, they have helped me manage my back pain for years now. Beautiful location at Broughton Hackett with lots of free parking and a gym below. They also have wheelchair access with a lift up to the practice, which has been handy for me when my back has been so bad I couldn’t get up the stairs! I have never struggled to get an appointment, with the wide range of options available for appointment times and with many different physio’s working across their practices I have always been seen really quickly when needed. I have recommended to everyone I know, I would not go anywhere else
