Fantastic experience: Really knowledgeable staff and a welcoming environment

Fantastic experience: I had had a problem for almost a month. Saw Catherine who diagnosed the problem. Gave me exercises to do and within two days I was noticing improvement.

Fantastic experience: I saw Rebecca for my heel/ankle pain, and left very happy and certain in the next steps to eliminate pain. She was very attentive and acted with care, taking into account total body composition. If you are looking for physio, absolutely book.

Fantastic experience: Dave was absolutely brilliant, he got straight to the issues with my shoulder and has given me a plan of exercises to work on. The office staff were great and the surgery is modern and efficient. I couldn't be happier and will definitely go back in a few weeks time for my assessment.

Fantastic experience: Have been coming to Bodymechanics for years, initially at their Castle Street venue and now at Woodbridge Road. I’ve mostly been under the care of Dave Emsley but have seen other members of the team too. All I can say is that service has consistently been excellent and Dave has done a wonderful job keeping me mobile. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Working with physio therapist Ryan Letts at Bodymechanics helped me so much with recovery from shoulder surgery and a recurring knee issue. The whole team are very friendly and Ryan is an extremely talented and considerate physio therapist. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Saw Rebecca yesterday for the first time, I've seen other physio from other places before but i've never had such a complete examination before , Rebecca kept me informed and checked if I was ok all the way though my treatment. She strapped me up ( like a kipper joke only) and gave me exercises and I can feel the improvement already after just a few hours. Cant recommend Rebecca highly enough.

Dave at body mechanics is a great physio, always listens, explains and rather than just giving homework , also has a hands on approach so you leave immediately feeling better. The whole body approach means that he does not just treat the troubled area but rather looks for the cause and treats the source . Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dave for many years now, and over this time I've had my fair share of training injuries. I am pleased to say Dave has always managed to sort them out. He is clearly very knowledgeable and professional. At the same time, he always happy to socially chat and makes the visit a good one.

Fantastic experience: Dave has been helping me out for over a year now, and in that time, he's taught me so much about muscle recovery and taking care of myself. Thanks to him, I’ve hit fitness and musical goals I thought were out of reach, thinking I was just getting too old for them. Now I’m training in combat sports, can shred on piano like Chopin, and know how to manage pain and muscle soreness like a pro. Big thanks to Dave for all the support!

Fantastic experience: I first visited Dave when looking for a second opinion 6 months after rupturing my achilles. Before my initial visit my progress had been slow and stagnant after receiving poor advice regarding my recovery. Following Dave’s guidance over the next 8 months I was able to make big strength gains in the tendon and surrounding muscles, regain full functionality and reduce the extra abnormal range of movement of my ankle due to the length of the tendon following the rupture. Less than a year after my first session with Dave I completed a full Ironman and now regularly run 50km a week. I cannot recommend Dave highly enough. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Dani was fantastic and much more in depth than previous physio I was having. Took more time to see how the injury was affecting me and looking at the connecting muscles with it. Also gave me a wide range of stretches to do to help recovery.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Pilates for over 2 years with Body mechanics. They are always welcoming and positive during every session! Very knowledgeable and have taught me lots of different ways to improve my physical health.

Fantastic experience: As a family we have seen two different physiotherapists at Body mechanics. They have an excellent 'bedside manner' and have given a completely accurate diagnosis. The follow up mri in one case and X-ray in another, confirmed what the physiotherapists had suspected. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Body mechanics has placed a crucial role in my rehab from multiple knee injuries and a couple of surgeries. Working alongside my consultant they have helped build up strength in my leg, introduce a return to running programme and sent information to my pilates instructor to take a holistic approach to rehab. I've seen a number of physics in the practice who have been excellent.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dave & Body Mechanics enough. I first found Dave a few years ago with an issue no other physio or health care professional could diagnose. He got to the bottom of it instantly and quickly had me in a healthy place ready to resume exercise. Recently I had another instance of an unknown issue and Dave saved the day again. I work in the fitness industry and can genuinely say I’ve never met such an experienced, talented physiotherapist and am very grateful.

Fantastic experience: I first visited Bodymechanics, I felt very welcomed. I was greeted from Vicky at the reception desk, I believe and she was really nice and professional at her job. I saw Dave and he was very, again professional, very engaging, positive person. I explained about my knee pain and after our conversation and he was assessing my whole body and turns out, he said what the problem was. Dave was super detailed about it; better than my previous appointments from a different physiotherapist from the hospital I visited. He was very clear about what the problem was and gave me a mini homework to do. I feel like there it’s some progress, and I had better clear answers than I had before. I felt very positive about the way things are going right and hopefully things will get better. I’ll be returning there after two weeks and hopefully I get some little achievements. I 100% would go back there again and recommend to anyone who would like to see Bodymechanics. Thank you so much !!!

Helena is a lovely lady and a fantastic teacher who will tailor the class to your ability and any issues you may have. Her instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The value for money is exceptional for the class size and individual attention you receive. I noticed progress in my strength and flexibility within only five sessions. I will 100% be back if I return to Guildford!

What impressed me the most is that if you have a particular issue he will look at you as a whole and not just target the problem area. Invariably there is a cause not always where you think it is. I tend to see him if I think a problem is brewing and not wait for it to become severe. It always works for me!! I can highly recommend Dave - give him a try. I

Fantastic experience: Dave is the reason my 16 son is back playing football. After an arduous 6 month recovery period for a torn meniscus he picked a broken teenager off the floor and gave him the confidence to slowly and methodically move, strengthen and get back to the game. Dave is much more than a physio, he truly got underneath the skin and into the mindset of a young sportsman. Would absolutely recommend

Fantastic experience: Mike at Body mechanics Guildford is quite simply the best physio masseuse in Surrey. I have tried numerous clinics and for deep tissue massage with someone who knows exactly what they are doing and with friendly manner, then try Mike.

Fantastic experience: I recently saw Mike for a Sports Massage, although I’m not a particularly sporty fit person I was suffering from back pain. I cannot recommend Mike highly enough, he was professional, kind and super knowledgeable. Bodymechanics have added a fantastic asset to their team!

Fantastic experience: I had niggling back pain that was starting to become a problem and was affecting my golf (well it hurt when I played, more likely my poor golf was causing the back pain). So I decided to go and see the team at Bodymechanics. I have seen the physio's there and the sports therapists and highly rate them all. The back pain is gone, and I know if I ever have other pains I can go straight to them and get it sorted. Highly recommended! If you are fed up with any pains or injuries you have, go see them
