Fantastic experience: I have been going to Kinesis Clinic for a couple of months, the treatment definitely appears to be working but it’s all the advice and stretching and exercising that they are giving me which is really helping with my lower back problem. Fantastic experience: Before I started seeing Barry to treat the Achilles problems I was having due to heel spurs on both my right and left heels, I was limping badly, was in pain and in the mornings walked like an old woman. I am now back playing Padel again and walking normally. Over the years I have see many Osteopaths but none have had the range of knowledge and skills I have experienced from Barry. Having successfully treated my Achilles I then had him work on old injuries I had in my shoulder and glute, both of which feel better than they have felt in years. Barry is a great listener and my sessions never feel rushed. He explains the exercises he gives clearly and provides links to videos he has created. 5 stars also goes to Lucy, who is always so welcoming and endeavours to fit you in to Barry's busy diary. Fantastic experience: I had a knee injury so decided to book an appointment at Kinesis Clinic. I had an initial appointment with Jason Bianchi followed by a few session of laser therapy. Jason was excellent and was able to give me lots of advice, stretches and exercises which enabled me to get back to sport. I was sent exercises following all my sessions with clear instructions and videos. Jason was friendly and welcoming, making sure I was always comfortable. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Osteopath Barry Harpur is a wizard... I am a pianist and was struggling to play due to a swollen left wrist and weakened thumb. My hand became so painful I was unable to lift anything - not even a cup of tea! My GP advised icing, wearing a brace, and extended rest. After many weeks of little change, I was referred to a specialist who diagnosed De Quervain's Tenosynovitis and recommended surgery! Not wanting to potentially lose any flexibility in my left hand, I searched online for an alternative and found Barry at the Kinesis Clinic in Guildford. I am eternally grateful for Barry’s talent, knowledge and skills. After a few months of consistent treatments, he helped me regain full strength and flexibility in my left arm and hand - in fact, my hand ended up better than it had been for many years! I now have full use and excellent strength in my left arm and hand due to those treatments. I am still able to play resounding octaves with my left hand. Going private and working with Barry was the best investment in myself I ever made - his treatments saved me from surgery. I highly recommend this talented osteopath. He is definitely worth his salt!

Fantastic experience: Situated in Guildford and near to a carpark this is a lovely clinic with delightful and professional staff. I went to the clinic with knee issues unresolved by rest and physio.From the very start I felt Jason completely understood my problem and treated me in a holistic and therapeutic manner. He gave me a thorough reassessment each time I went, and I felt I gained confidence with his gentle treatment therapy. Home exercises are manageable and realistic, and importantly designed to build confidence back. Always contactable for queries I have felt very supported along the way as my knees have improved. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic and would go back in a heartbeat for any future issues.

Fantastic experience: Jason has been a real help! He as supported me physically and mentally following a fracture and ligament damage in my ankle. It goes to show how much of a difference is made when you are treated correctly compared to any average physio or the NHS! Fantastic experience: Having originally found Barry for my plantar fasciitis which he resolved, I continue to see him for my lower back and neck. Barry knows exactly what the problem is and gets me back on track, truly amazing. At a recent appointment I was talking about my daughter and that she had had a continuous headache for several days, Barry straight away said what the problem was, I booked her in with Jason and after treatment she was back to normal. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Barry after experiencing sharp pain in my left rib. I was very worried, but Barry was able to explain to me what was going on so reassuringly and competently. He gave me specific exercises which have all helped. His videos are brilliant so you can really see and hear how stretches are supposed to be done correctly. Fantastic experience: Having had a bad knee for a while and hoping it would heal itself (it didn’t) I decided to try the Kinesis Clinic which was recommended by a friend who regularly uses them. Having seen Jason twice I have already noticed a significant improvement in my pain reduction, movement and strength. A combination of treatments during my visit and at-home exercises have all helped. The team are all very welcoming and it’s always a pleasure to visit.

Fantastic experience: Having suffered (terribly) from a slipped (herniated) disc I was left with no option but to seek professional help. Literally bed-bound and unable to walk, in incredible pain, I made it down to Kinesis where Barry assessed my condition quite quickly - managed my recovery expectations - and over the proceeding weeks managed to very successfully get me back up and running. Fantastic experience: I chose kinesis clinic because of the non-stop 5 star reviews Barry and his team receives. I read that they were the best in the area. I was just about giving up on my Sacroiliac joint (SIJ) injury and accepting the fact that perhaps I’ll never be able to walk properly again and will always have to deal with the sharp jolting pain lifelong at only 23 which was devastating mentally. As a fitness instructor it was also cutting my career short too. I’m really happy to say that for the first time this year I have been COMPLETELY pain free for 2 weeks now. This is after working with Barry for a few months (5 sessions). He is very knowledgeable and is a true specialist in his field for rehabilitation. I still have a long way to go with strengthening the joint, but the most important thing is that I listened to his advice, Including completely stopping anything that aggravates the joint. From limping into his clinic and around Guildford, not being able to sit up off the bench when pressing weights, not being able to sleep from the pain. The turnaround this year is not what I expected In the best way possible! Top commendation for the clinic and Barry, all the 5 star reviews are very well deserved. Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Zaneta for a couple of months now for tennis elbows. Her understanding of how the body works is amazing and she explains things well. She carried out laser treatment, deep tissue massage and acupuncture to both arms. I couldn't recommend Zaneta highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Jason and Magda have both helped immeasurably with chronic tension in my shoulders + RSI in my forearms. I found his ART (active release techniques) very effective in relieving historic tension. Magda is a world class masseuse with a fantastic touch and an ability to smooth out tension. My wife sees her monthly, too! I’ve seen many other practitioners in the past and can safely say if you’re looking for results and relief from discomfort; this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Magda is an amazing sports massage therapist. Over the last 6 or so months Magda has eased out so many long term mobility & muscle issues. She explains what the issue is with added stretches to help in between sessions. Coupled with Barry’s physio it works so well. My frequency has moved from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. This is testament to the strength & knowledge Magda has in her hands. I can’t recommend Kinesis Clinic, Magda & Barry enough.

Fantastic experience: Barry Harpur and his team at Kinesis have been absolutely outstanding and instrumental in giving my daughter her life back. She had a complex hip injury which remained misdiagnosed for over a year until Barry took over her treatment and care in July 2023. Without his knowledge and expertise she would still be in pain and walking with a twisted leg, torso and shoulder. We travelled weekly from the Channel Islands to see Barry and he has been flexible and helpful when travel went awry. He was able to diagnose and get her body fit for the surgery that was required and is very good at explaining everything so that its easy to understand, which is extremely reassuring as my daughter is ASD. We will be returning to Kinesis now that surgery is complete as Barry and his team are the only clinic we trust in her care. I would recommend them 100%, so helpful, understanding and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Jason treated a debilitating back injury that had left me in pain for more than a year. Prior to this, I had seen every specialist going and nothing seemed to be working, I had almost given up hope that it would ever get better. I am so glad that I came here on recommendation, as I am now almost completely pain free and can manage any twinges at home with the exercises provided. Jason was very well informed and knowledgeable, able to explain everything very clearly and talked me through treatment and what to expect every step of the way. He used a mixture of laser therapy, dry needling and manipulation and sent follow up exercises, amending my treatment plan as time went on - a completely tailored service that was adapted to my personal recovery. I felt in completely safe hands and couldn’t believe that finally, after such a long time I was seeing progress. If you’re considering seeking treatment and have tried lots of different avenues to no avail, I highly recommend giving this a try, I’m so glad that I did. Fantastic experience: Five years ago I had spinal surgery following a fracture. Whilst relatively successful giving a better range of movement initially, by year three years post op intense pain had returned. I could not walk very far and only with the support of a cane. On recommendation, I booked an appointment with Barry Harpur at Kinesis Clinic in October 2023. The scar from my spinal operation is approximately eight inches long and was, in Barry's word's, like concrete. No wonder I couldn't move much. Under his care and more recently Zaneta Kwiecien, things have much improved. Zaneta has a special interest in scar tissue and has worked hard on mine, additionally giving me exercises to improve my core and general mobility and introduced me to acupuncture which I believe has been beneficial. My mobility has much improved and the scar tissue itself has improved so much that it no longer restricts my ability to bend. I only wish I had attended the clinic sooner. Today I spent four hours walking around RHS Wisley Gardens, without once resorting to the support of my cane. It is difficult to express how this feels and how grateful I am to the Kinesis Team for getting me this far in improving both my physical and mental health. I have had a particular walking goal for the last three years, and I know that this year I will achieve it. I would encourage anyone with scar tissue that has an adverse affect on health and mobility to consider a consultation at Kinesis Clinic

Fantastic experience: I injured myself weightlifting and my backpain was waking me up and preventing sleep. Jason was fantastic, very professional, calm and great at explaining everything he was doing and why, which made me feel very comfortable and literally 'in safe hands'. He not only manipulated the injured area but also used a laser therapy which felt amazing. He kept the exercises I needed to do at home simple, and sent a video for future reference. Having had an awful experience of another osteopath who literally sat behind his desk, lectured me and did nothing re actually treating my injury beyond a few at home exercises, Jason and Kinesis were brilliant. The pain gradually got better and now I simply come in for a top up if anything tweaks. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Six years ago I fell out of a raft whilst white water rafting, bouncing over some rocks I cracked some vertebrae. The following year having fallen again I started to have severe pains in my hip and leg making it painful to walk. Fantastic experience: I came to Zaneta with severe lower back pain and symptoms of sciatica. She was able to quickly diagnose the root cause as weakness stemming from pregnancy and labour. The treatments provided significant relief from the pain and she has been equipping me with functional exercises to improve strength and ensure that it doesn't flare up again. I've been amazed by the results so far, Zaneta has been fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I had been in pain for 7 years and thought that was what life had to be like, and then I found Barry! He worked out immediately what my issue was (a long list of people had failed!!) and in one session reduced my pain significantly. Fantastic experience: Jason is a professional, friendly and brilliantly talented osteopath. I started treatment at the clinic for upper back/shoulder pain and migraines a few years ago and I have experienced a significant improvement in pain levels/migraines since then. Initially I had regular appointments but now I just book when needed. I get immediate relief with each session, and the positive effects often last for weeks afterwards. He has helped me to provide effective solutions for over 2 years with different muscular and neural issues I have had as an elite athlete. I am a 60m and 100m sprinter and prior to seeing Gareth, one of the Associate osteopaths, I had suffered a hamstring tear and was struggling to overcome this injury. Fantastic experience: I am almost reluctant to review Barry Harpur at Kinesis Clinic in case it means there will be less appointments available! I moved to Guildford 10 years ago and swore I would never leave the amazing Osteopath I had found in Hampshire, but every time my back went I found it a struggle to drive far. Luckily I stumbled across Barry, who has treated me over the past few years for lower back pain and RSI using different techniques, including acupuncture. Impressively Barry not only treats you, but teaches you (and then emails over) exercises designed to aid the healing process and to stop you spending more money on appointments(!) Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I broke my left hand’s scaphoid, got surgery and kept the cast for more than two months; when I engaged with kinesis clinic I was not able to move my wrist at all and with only three sessions I gained a lot of mobility... the laser they use is also helping to properly fix the bone. I am really impressed and satisfied with their work... I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Jason Bianchi visited to assess my 2 year old German Shepherd who had a shoulder injury for the past 2.5 months. He was patient and calm as my dog is high energy & had not been through such an experience before. Jason was extremely thorough and assessed my GSDs entire body multiple times to be sure he hadn't missed anything. Fantastic experience: Kinesis Clinic was recommended by a work colleague who had used them. I was suffering from a very painful and stiff shoulder with restricted movement. Barry has been treating me for the last couple of months with aided manipulation, dry needling and laser therapy. The pain has reduced greatly and movement has improved drastically. Once he has sorted out my shoulder I am going to ask him to sort out my lower back problems. I have used other Osteopaths before but I find Barry brilliant and very experienced. Fantastic experience: I suffered with extreme pain in my right shoulder from carrying a laptop bag and working for long hours in front of a computer. After one session with Zaneta the pain has completely disappeared. She was meticulous during the treatment and spent time to understand my problem. Fantastic experience: I can`t thank Barry and his team enough for the help that they have given me in the last 6 months. I first came to see Barry with a host of problems which one by one have been sorted out over the summer. I will always have an issue with my lower back and had been told "Fusion is the only answer to this" by the Surgeon. I was inclined to disagree! Then I was told "You will need treatment into your old age for this" by the chiropractor. After several years of looking for another answer I found Barry. Fantastic experience: A glowing recommendation by a friend led me to look up Barry Harpur at the Kinesis clinic, almost exactly a year ago. I was feeling really desperate and frustrated at the time as my mobility had become very restricted and I was having difficulty getting a clear diagnosis (and therefore treatment), through medical referral. Barry was the first person I had come across who really listened and then came up with positive suggestions about how he could help to relieve my constant pain and work on improving my walking. His approach has been very gentle and reassuring from that first appointment, and his regular treatment has proved very effective. I could not be more grateful or impressed by the way he has helped me through a very difficult time while necessary investigations into my medical condition have been looked into by a consultant rheumatologist. Barry is incredibly good at listening and asking pertinent questions using the benefit of his very obvious knowledge, and as a result he quickly identifies the areas that would best respond to treatment. Using a combination of dry needle therapy, laser work and physical therapy, he has often literally got me back on my feet during my twice weekly visits! His very sympathetic and knowledgeable approach has not only helped me enormously on a physical level, but also given me a much needed psychological boost at times when I have felt very pessimistic about my long term drug treatment and recovery, and our regular discussions about my condition have often helped me to move forward in a very positive way when making decisions about my drug treatment with my consultant. Fantastic experience: After about 4 years of injury on my hip and neck/shoulder I was losing hope as no physio could relieve my pain. Luckily I met Zaneta shortly after and I can say that she is the only medic who actually listened to me and got to the root of my injuries. Through acupuncture and massage/rehabilitation Zaneta completely cured all of my injuries which had been persistent over some years. I cannot recommend her enough as she is a highly skilled professional who will put the research and effort into resolving issues and injuries. Fantastic experience: I have suffered from lower back pain since my early twenties, and periodically attended physiotherapists and chiropractors over the years in the hope of resolving it; I wish I had tried osteopathy (and specifically Barry Harpur at Kinesis) years ago. My back pain is now a thing of the past, which is pretty remarkable considering the (non-osteopathy) efforts I have made to resolve it over the years. I still attend Kinesis from time to time for 'niggles' such as stiff shoulders / upper back and knee pain and I always come out of a session with Barry feeling completely invigorated. Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience, I went to Kinesis Clinic for pain I had been having around my hips and pelvis during pregnancy with my second child. I had suffered badly with my first and no one could help and I just couldn't got through the same symptoms again. After the first treatment my pain reduced by about 50%. By the second treatment I had almost forgotten I was in pain in the first place!!! Thank you Barry.

Fantastic experience: I first started seeing Barry for a trampolining injury a few months ago. After suffering for over a month with extreme pain, back spasms and restricted movement I (thankfully) found Barry. Within the first session he had compiled background information on my previous back problems, explained to me exactly what my injury consisted of, worked on releasing some of my stiff muscles, performed some dry needling and went through some exercises that I could do at home. After a short while my back was back to its normal self! Only a short while later, and completely unrelated to the previous injury, I herniated a disk whilst moving some furniture at home. I wasted no time in returning to Barry who immediately knew what I had done and started work on helping me. He also told me that because of the progressive curve I have in my spine I'm probably quite susceptible to these kinds of injuries. This is something I had been told before but also told I would just have to live with it. However, Barry assured me that there were things we could do to strengthen my back and prolong my spinal health. After years of suffering with my back this was so refreshing to hear! I'm still very young and the thought of my back only getting worse with age was something that filled me with anxiety. Now, for the first time, I have hope for the future, that I'll be able to enjoy activities that I previously wouldn't have been able to do. All in all, my experience with Barry has been fantastic and I cannot recommend him enough. He clearly knows what he is talking about and his bedside manner is brilliant. I have already recommended him to some family members that suffer with their backs too and my only regret is that I wish I had found him sooner!

Fantastic experience: Having been misdiagnosed twice, it was refreshing to find someone who I knew, from the first consultation, I could trust. I received a full explanation and lots of information about my injury from someone who clearly takes his profession seriously. pdf's were sent of the stretches I needed to do and just 4 weeks into my treatment I was seeing a noticeable difference. 12 weeks in and I was back at the gym with the right advice and guidance and 14 weeks later, I won't be seeing Barry again! Fantastic experience: I had been suffering with carpal tunnel syndrome for several years when I first saw Barry. After two short sessions of dry needling the symptoms were gone. I also saw Barry for dry needling when I was in agony with lower back pain and on another occasion for severe neck pain. Both times the pain relief was miraculous. I found dry needling to be a very quick and painless procedure. Each time I received expert advice that has prevented these problems recurring to the same degree. Fantastic experience: I initially went to Barry following a dislocated shoulder, however I have also had a long standing knee injury which I was told I would just have to live with. After assessment of both shoulder and knee and my general mobility, Barry was able to explain to me why I kept getting injured and what could be done to prevent/improve it. He drew up programme of stretching and strengthening exercises that I could do at home to rehabilitate my shoulder and to strengthen the area around my knee and get everything working properly. After only a few sessions everything was feeling much stronger and stable. Within three weeks I was able to get up Mount Snowdon without any pain in my knee and I was back playing cricket within eight weeks, fitter than ever, which made a huge difference to my performance levels! The explanations around what I would achieve from each part of my programme, as well as the comprehensive visual aids Barry gave me really motivated me and focused me towards my end goal.
