Fantastic experience: Couldn't praise the efficiency and service of this particular 'The medical' Keynsham. Sophie is a 5 star person and practitioner who has helped me when I've needed it and only when I needed it. She has fixed me even when I thought I was beyond repair at times. Fantastic experience: Gemma is a wonderful Pilates instructor. I have been attending her classes for two years now, after several injuries in various parts of the body, and really notice the difference in my mobility and flexibility. Fantastic experience: I been going to the Medical in Keynsham on and off for over 15 years. I’ve had everything from physio to massages. I’ve even practiced Pilates. Great place to go if you want to keep well. Also Sophie the osteopath is just fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I contacted the medical from an online search for a physio and from the first initial contact have been treated in the most professional and friendly way possible. Jordan’s advice and treatment are working wonders and Sally has a great customer facing presence. I made a mistake on submitting my bupa treatment code but this was sorted by Shelley asap even though it was my mistake. Would totally recommend if you looking for good service and advice. Negative experience: Thought i would give a health centre a try. Booked an hour of massage but actual massage time only 30mins. First 15mins asking medical question that could be easily done as online questionnaire beforehand and session ended 15mins early. The result was not even effective so book if you have plenty of cash to waste and I'm sticking with my usual masseuse.
Fantastic experience: Lauren has been excellent at helping me with my rheumatology symptoms and management whilst I have been awaiting diagnosis. She has hugely supported me through her wealth of knowledge and experience and has gone above and beyond to help me, greatly exceeding my expectations for physiotherapy. I can't recommend her enough!!!
Fantastic experience: I would recommend The Medical in Keynsham to anyone who needs physio. I've been going to the Medical for my lower back and I can't speak highly enough of the whole physio and reception team. I hurt my back and felt extremely anxious about it. From my initial assessment with Sam to my ongoing physio with James, I felt like they really know their stuff and put me at ease. James is a really good physio. Each session I've had has improved my knowledge around my back and the muscles supporting it as he ensures to go over the detail in a clear way. I've learnt so much and feel like I can ask anything. The sessions I have do not only help my back recover but give me the tools to continue to avoid injury. Shelly at Reception is also always so helpful and friendly. Thanks guys!
Negative experience: Paid £65 pounds for a 15 minute appointment! I have never paid this much for such a short treatment. I used to pay £52 and get 45 minutes! This is daylight theft, wake up people and go somewhere where you get your money's worth!

We’re sorry to hear that you don’t feel you got good value from your appointment with us. With Chiropractic, it is very common to have 15 minute appointments, although they can range from 5 - 30 minutes based on the type of Chiropractic service you are accessing.
Many of our clients use our Appointment Passes to purchase blocks of treatment in advance, bringing the cost per appointment down to between £42 - £54 depending on the Pass chosen. These last 2 years, and can be shared with friends and family.
If its longer treatments you prefer, we can also suggest Osteopathy and Physiotherapy that are different in their clinical nature, but run at 30 minute appointments. We hope this is helpful, and wish you the best of luck finding a provider that best suits your needs.
Fantastic experience: Came here for treatment with Rachel, having been in a crash with an articulated lorry. Lots of pain and discomfort. Rachel assessed and started a comprehensive treatment plan which 10 weeks later has been an amazing transformation. Absolutely faultless and would highly recommend. Fantastic experience: I had severe back pains and loss of strength in my arm. Following an examination Dr Jewett diagnosed the problem. After several appointments over a 6 week period I was pain free. The turnaround was remarkable from the initial pain I was suffering. I would highly recommend the service provided by the Medical and Dr Jewett.

Fantastic experience: Went to this organisation as someone who'd never visited a physiotherapist before or any such similar service. Easy to make an appointment, was called as a reminder, so pretty good comms. Very nice environment, was treated by Will - very professional, took into consideration my concerns. Nothing outrageous done, just someone who was there to discuss my issues. Did a walk analysis and left with some good ideas of what to do about my problems and possible avenues for treatment/solutions. No pressure of further services with them or encouragement to agree to more visits/sessions etc. I would recommend them plain & simple!
Fantastic experience: I have recently completed a course of 10 physiotherapy sessions with Sarah, for a recurring lower back pain. Sarah also provided a tailored exercise programme to help strengthen my lower back/core and improve mobility. This has helped considerably and I feel confident of preventing and relieving further problems in the future. Thank you for all your help and advice.
Fantastic experience: I have used The Medical in Keynsham on and off for 2 maybe 3 years for various gym related rehab and injury management. James, Chris and Sam very helpful knowledgeable all my issues, pain and tight muscles have been managed and dealt with to the point they are no longer an issue. Given great stretches, rehab and programmes to follow. Have had some great sports massages from Sarah and James! Reception staff friendly and welcoming too even during COVID.
Negative experience: Would not recommend. For the price /time definitely NO ......I went to another osteopath and had EXACTLY the same treatment for £19 cheaper and for 15 minutes more..
Fantastic experience: The physiotherapists I've seen have been great but I'd like to give a big shout out to Shelley who covers reception and admin. Shelley is always so polite and professional and is a real pleasure to deal with. I think she is a great asset to the team at Keynsham.

Fantastic experience: I sustained a broken femur in January and struggled to get NHS physiotherapy so I phoned The Medical Keynsham for help and booked an appointment with Sam he got me off my crutches and back on my feet within four sessions and on my way to recovery what a star, this guy is brilliant at his job. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Will Eke highly enough. As a competitive middle distance runner, Will has kept me injury free and always provides appropriate sports therapy for lower and upper body.
Fantastic experience: Sam Wright has provided me with excellent physiotherapy on two occasions. Both times I have had a series of appointments. I have severe arthritis in hips and knees. After the first series of treatments and programme of exercises, I believe Sam gave me a number of good years with significantly reduced pain and improved flexibility and strength. More recently, Sam has helped me to recover from 2 hip operations within 4 months and, very importantly, to help me improve my knee strength and avoid immediate surgery. Sam listens carefully and explains the exercises and their intended effects thoroughly and clearly. He has always been encouraging and positive but has also challenged me. Making appointments is straightforward and staff at the clinic are all as friendly, helpful and professional as Sam. I hope this is helpful for anyone considering seeking physiotherapy.
Fantastic experience: 5 members of my family have been seeing Physiotherapist Sam Wright for many years. We range in ages from teenager to OAP and have presented him with sports injury’s and age related problems. He has never failed to sort our problems out in a professional and friendly manner. His expertise and knowledge are excellent.The clinic is run by friendly helpful staff , and appointments are available early and late which fit well into a working day . I have no hesitation in recommending both Sam and the Medical in Keynsham.

Positive experience: Massage - Groupon deal I purchased a groupon deal massage for £18.00 for 1 hour. The first appointment they could offer was 3 months later. The massuse was 15 minutes late and I was in a room with the radio playing and the thin walls I could hear voices clearly next door in the other room. I was told they could only focus on 1 body part for the 1 hour. The lady kept talking to me asking if i was going on holiday this year, asking about my family. I felt like i was in a hairdressers. Having said that it was a reasonable massage for the price. If I had paid full price it may have been 2 stars.
