Fantastic experience: I went to Phillipa at Acorn Health for a problem with my lower back and sciatica. I was in some pain and walking had become difficult. I was immediately impressed with Phillipa's professionalsim and approach. Within 2 months of treatment that included accupuncture my pain has gone and I am walking again with no difficulty at all. I cannot recommend Phillipa highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I presented myself to Philippa with hip and leg pain.Following my first treatment the pain subsided and four subsequent visits have seen the pain disappear. Fantastic experience: I can't even begin on how amazing Philippa is both professionally and as a person. She made me feel so reassured, she is super funny too which made things so much easier for me. Fantastic experience: Philippa listened to my problems and responded with empathy. She then carried out a hands-on examination whilst describing what she was finding - both normal and abnormal. She quickly homed-in on problem areas which had escaped the attention of a number of medical practitioners over a 3 year period. Fantastic experience: I attended Acorn Health regarding shoulder pain. Glen carried out a very thorough examination of the offending shoulder and performed some massage and manipulation. The shoulder felt considerably easier following the treatment. I have agreed to a further couple of sessions based on my initial visit . Fantastic experience: Acorn health is just a short walk from a path from Central carpark (30 pence an hour) and located just after the entrance to Barcroft doctors surgery and Boots, I was welcomed by my chiropractor Philippa Oakley who made me feel at ease while I waited a few minutes for my appointment, my treatment was fully explained to me and suggestions on a treatment plan, which was for back pain from an injury. Philippa Oakley is very knowledgeable and I look forward to completing my treatment and being in less pain.

Fantastic experience: Visited Pip today, great treatment. Really struck home when I noticed I was walking across the car park pain free. Wonderful feeling not to ache at all. It is far too easy as the weather gets cold to develop aches and pains and then to make matters worse by holding yourself stiff to try and avoid pain. A quick trip to Acorn Health will help set you on the road to moving pain free. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I went to Acorn Health today, I am one of these people that want to find out what is causing my back to hurt, and not just take pain relief to try and cure it. I came out after my first session knowing that my back has started to feel so much better already. The treatment felt so relaxing, as I could feel it was actually working. I've also started my exercises set by Glen, and using the snowdrop cooling rub. Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment with Phillipa. The process of booking was very easy, the forms self explanatory. Upon arrival Phillipa wanted to understand the reason for my visit, talk through medical history etc. She has already suggested help as I am going through the menopause which I will follow up on. Fantastic experience: Having seen Philippa a couple of times to sort out my lower back problems, I saw Glen today with a neck/shoulder problem. He is very friendly and welcoming and takes time to talk you through the problems and causes. After one session the majority of the pain is gone, and I'll keep up with the tailored exercise routine sent through afterwards. If you've got musculoskeletal problems, don't live with them, go and see Philippa or Glen and see how much they can help.

She takes the time to do additional checks if something out of the ordinary has happened. A bonus is that she is great to have conversation with, and remembers little details from months past. Fantastic experience: My wife had suffered pain in her back for many years but lately it had gotten worse so she decided to seek help. A check of the internet revealed both Physiotherapists and Chiropractors in the area and she chose Acorn Health as it was local and looked to be somewhere she could try, but the proof would only be revealed following an initial visit. On her first visit with Phillipa she had no high expectations having been seen by several Physiotherapists and Chiropractors in the past, however after listening to her and then examining her, Phillipa diagnosed several areas of concern. Over the last six weeks Phillipa has worked hard to ensure she has less pain and more movement by not only using her experience of the human body, but also by listening to her comments of what works and what does not. Although she is far from being fully fit again, there is a very bright light at the end of the tunnel that she can see. My wife has no hesitation in recommending Phillipa to anyone who needs the services of a first class Chiropractor, just remember to go with an open mind as everyone's case is different.
