Fantastic experience: A chronic lower back pain had started to disrupt not only my sleep, but also my golf (yep, it was that serious!), so I enlisted the services of the Afon House team to help me address the challenge. After a thorough pre-treatment questionnaire and an equal thorough initial assessment consultation, Verity Moore was able to get to the crux of the problem and develop a suitable treatment and exercise programme to help restore my mobility and range of movement and improve my posture. Verity quickly identified that small changes to my (predominately sedentary) working day would also aid my recovery and future back health. Verity is a great practitioner; she establishes a rapport effortlessly and listens to patient needs and goals to ensure that all parties remain aligned on the treatment journey. Through subsequent appointments, Verity monitored my progress and offered adaptations to my exercise regime to keep me on track. Mention must also be made of the front of house team who are superb; thank you - great conversations, communications and appointment reminders. I cannot recommend Verity and the wider Afon House team highly enough, I regret not enlisting their services sooner. My mobility and golf swing have returned, although the scorecard still needs work - but I do acknowledge that this is well outside Afon House’s remit… some challenges are just too great! Thank you all for your support and assistance and keep up the sterling work.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Sam for chiropractic help. A visit is always a pleasure, though sometimes a pain when Sam really works on those tight, knotted muscles. But it's worth it to feel that return of discomfort free movement again.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Afon House, I was struggling with bad hip and pelvic pain during pregnancy. Ashleigh was quick to assess the issues and within three sessions I experienced incredible pain relief I didn't realise would be possible! I felt very safe being treated late in pregnancy, Ashleigh made sure the treatment was appropriate and safe at every step!

Fantastic experience: The whole experience at Afon is excellent. From a nice greeting from the receptionist to feeling immediate results from the treatment. Lucy was thorough in her pre treatment assessment getting a clear picture of my needs. The treatment itself left me feeling relief from the constant hip pain I had been feeling. Lucy gave me exercises to do in between my appointments and left me feeling positive about my future health.I understand that more than one treatment is required to realign my skeleton. Fantastic experience: I had my initial assessment and first treatment today. The lady on reception was friendly and cheerful. Mr Clarke was thorough and caring, and took time to understand my issues and keep me informed throughout the treatment. Fantastic experience: Due to a busy schedule, I've been seen by 3 members of staff at the clinic while my wife has seen one other, absolutely all of which were incredibly professional, well trained and extremely knowledgeable. Wife had acupuncture which helped in a few sessions to get rid of a debilitating back pain and I've had several sessions to help with pain from standing and driving alternatively for long periods of time. Very good prices too, I would recommend 100% for real value for money and pain relief.

Fantastic experience: Verity has looked after me for several years after complications from many unrelated surgical procedures. She has recently helped me through very painful episodes of piriformis syndrome. I have been able to stay working and return to horse riding. I'm not completely out of the woods yet but she is always there when I need her. The stretching exercises she gives me has enabled me to reduce the number of treatments needed. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I have been treated by Verity Moore for many years having residual pain resulting from old sport related accidents. Simply put, I always feel less pain and freer after a treatment which is I guess, the reason for a visit. However, it is so reassuring that Verity is totally even uncannily able to pinpoint the problem, the cause often being nowhere near the site of the pain. This practice is definitely not an advocate of 'one size fits all' treatment. I have received many different treatments each being specific to my problem and needs at the time.
