Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few sessions with Kirby and she is fantastic! I went in with back pains with my toddler and she listened to my challenges and gave me exercises that were right for me and my schedule. After a few treatments I went back 6 months later with further back pain due to my second pregnancy - again Kirby didn’t disappoint! Super friendly, caring and listened to my needs.

After suffering from pelvic girdle pain, I went to see Hannah who was so welcoming and gave me so much confidence to do different stretches at home. I have already booked another session and would highly recommend using Re-centre.

They know exactly what to do to get you on the road to recovery quickly.

Fantastic experience: I had two appointments with Hamza at ReCentre Health and was very impressed. With only two weeks to go until a marathon I didn’t think it would be possible to do anything about the thigh pain I had been experiencing for a few weeks and was only looking for reassurance that I wasn’t doing any permanent damage. But Hamza managed to sort it out completely and in only two sessions I was completely pain free for the marathon, which I managed to run on my goal time. I cannot recommend him enough! Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I have been having treatments - specifically osteopathy, physio and massage - on and off at ReCentre for the last 15+ years and they have always been excellent. My latest treatments with Carmen (physio) and Aga (sports massage) have not disappointed. Both practitioners are extremely personable and pragmatic and I'm confident that they will help me to mobilise and become pain-free. My only issue was with making my initial booking; I found doing so online surprisingly difficult.

Fantastic experience: I (Jake) thoroughly enjoy my sessions at reCentre, and came to know they’re a truly valuable asset to my tennis game. Kirby is efficient, considerate, and incredibly effective. Beyond that, reCentre/ Kirby is an impressive physio which is able to deliver helpful results.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with reCentre. I initially visited due to issues with my back, and was quite apprehensive as I had never been to physio before. However after meeting Emma, my physiotherapist, all my concerns dissipated as her professional care, treatment, support and advice not only meant I began to feel better physically, but also mentally as well as my back issues were causing me a lot of distress. I have since joined Emma's mat pilates class and am really feeling the benefits across my whole body and mind. I would definitely recommend reCentre if you have any physiotherapy needs or want to join a friendly pilates class.

Fantastic experience: Hamza is an absolutely incredible osteopath! I started going to him for one issue before having a separate injury. Hamza now splits my sessions by working on both of my issues to ensure constant progress and that I always go away feeling better. I can’t believe the progress I have seen since going to him. He’s also super lovely and makes you feel at ease. The reception team are very helpful and smiley also!

Fantastic experience: This is a genuine review. I am not using my real name for privacy reasons. I had a back injury (sciatica) and have been doing physio and rehab pilates for almost a year at Recentre Balham. Therapists Samantha and Emma have been always eager to understand the development of my pain in between sessions. They also guided me through different therapies and physical exercises (ranging from acupuncture to strength training, yoga and meditation). It seems difficult to achieve quick improvement when dealing with long-term injuries, but I believe I would be worse off without physio/pilates. Really professional overall, and I could tell the difference in comparison to earlier physio experiences (mostly because of current underfunded/dysfunctional status of NHS, of course). I would recommend this centre for those who can afford it or get it covered by insurance. Only downside has been the interaction between health insurer BUPA and Recentre, as I often had to spend long time over the phone to chase up pre-authorisation codes for the continuation of my treatment. I believe this could be improved from both ends (BUPA authorising more sessions for long-term injuries and Recentre being more proactive in making sure treatment plans are sent to BUPA ahead of time to avoid disruption of treatment).

Fantastic experience: Excellent physio session with Anne today. She's a very experienced physio and she puts you at ease straight away. She encourages you to do more and finds innovative ways to overcome obstacles. Overall a 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to ReCentre for about 10 years - it's such a haven for the mind, body and soul. The therapists are just leagues above anywhere else I have experienced, particularly when it comes to more non-traditional services such as Body Stress Relief or Cranio-Sacral. Fantastic experience: The Re Centre was one-stop shopping for a whole new me. I tried other places, but it wasn’t until Emma at the Re Centre that I was finally cured of longstanding knee problems. I really enjoy the Pilates classes too. All the staff are so positive and helpful. I actually look forward to walking through the door!

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of reCentre Health Balham for 2 decades, and feel very fortunate to have such a high quality physio and Osteo practice locally. I am currently being treated by Emma Longley who is brilliant. She has succeeded where others have not, to get me to actually do the follow up exercises after each session. That is crucial for my long term health aside from anything else. I would never consider going anywhere else for treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have just come back to Pilates after shoulder surgery. I am doing the physio led clinical pilates matt classes with Emma, after having had a one on one assessment with Emma. I can't recommend Emma and the class highly enough - the assessment and knowledge of my personal condition means I feel in very safe hands. The classes are small (max 6 people) and each exercise can be personally tailored to you as needed. This also means that I feel comfortable to push myself so get more out of the class and my rehab journey. I have also done the standard matt classes in the past with more minor aches and pains and they are equally as good. I was nervous to come back to Pilates after surgery but am very pleased I did!

Fantastic experience: All the staff at the Centre are amazing, including the receptionists. I have had issues with my back and neck for many years but Paige and Shawna (physiotherapist) have really helped me to manage these in recent times. The physios have a sensitive, holistic approach, taking the time to talk to you at each appointment to see what has changed for you and discuss how to adjust your treatment to account for that. Cannot thank them enough. I have used the Centre for other people in my family, including my daughter. Aga is a brilliant at deep tissue massages too and has great expertise.

Fantastic experience: I came to reCentre with a serious shoulder injury following a bike accident. I had a frozen shoulder which was very painful and restricted my movements a lot and there was a risk I might need surgery. Through a course of regular treatment with Shauna at reCentre Health I made a full recovery and avoided the need for surgery. I really appreciated the care I was given and the friendly and welcoming atmosphere there.
