Positive experience: I discovered The Flying Physio by chance when trying to walk off severe back pain, that had forced me to stop my workout at Cotlandswick Leisure Centre, around the corner. I managed to get a same day appointment with Adam, and he spent a good deal of time understanding exactly what, and where the pain was. After some treatment, and with the application of sticky tape scaffold, I was so much more comfortable and relaxed. After a few more successful treatments combined with some exercise homework, I am now regularly back at the gym and enjoying long walks in the spring sunshine. We got to know a little bit about each other and I found I enjoyed the chats as much as the treatment. Adam is very easy to talk to in relaxing conversation, but still very focused on the job at hand.

Fantastic experience: Adam takes the time to understand the issues and it clearly works as my injuries have been sorted. He was also great when dealing with my daughter’s knee pain, and she was very comfortable with him treating her.

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to be able to get an appointment for the same day with Adam, who instantly put me at ease as he took down all my history. Not quite sure what he did medically but it was not short of a miracle. Such an easy booking system, great service and he really is the best physio I have ever seen. That night I felt a million times better and my symptoms eased day by day. Two more appointments and I was fixed.

Fantastic experience: I came to Adam with quite a bad upper back and neck problem I’ve had for a number of years. Adam was very friendly and professional, asked questions to understand what the problem was and I could tell he was very experienced as he knew what kind of job I did and the lifestyle I lived just by triaging me and feeling the problem! Over the course of 5 sessions he consistently worked on the problem, giving me exercises and stretches to do at home to help build strength and loosen the muscles. For the first time in years I’ve got a full range of motion in my upper back and neck and am confidently going back to the gym. He’s not the kind of physio who wants you to keep coming back and spend all your money unnecessarily on 20 sessions, he actively wants you to get back out doing what you want to do and I couldn’t recommend him more!

Fantastic experience: I injured my back so badly and was virtually bed bound for two weeks and in pain for eight weeks. Two hours' sleep per night for weeks is no fun at all. I found The Flying Physios online and it was so helpful that Adam could visit me, as I couldn't travel anywhere. In later sessions I visited their clinic. Adam is very knowledgeable and careful with what he does and the advice he gives. It's clear he cares about long term results of his patients. He taught me a lot about my back and the nerves causing me so much pain that stretch from my brain to my toes. I am so grateful for how he helped me and I'm going to see him in place of the osteopath I was seeing periodically before. FOLLOW UP: It's now two years since I injured my back and saw Adam to help me recover. For the last 25 years I've had some sort of back trouble, mostly mild, sometimes debilitating. In the two years since seeing Adam, I've had no back trouble at all.

Negative experience: Unfortunately the rude approach and poor attempts of sarcasm from the receptionist means I won’t return. She complained when a “text” message was not answered, lied about sending emails (which for reference were always received when they were “actually” sent) and then follows up with rude and obnoxious replies. In the two sessions I had with Adam not much happened, I was sent home with exercises. A nice guy so I’ll give benefit of doubt. One session was moved and another cancelled but it is what it is. I’d certainly look at getting someone professional to pick up the phone and represent the business correctly. Really quite poor when I think about it.

Fantastic experience: Following a Frozen Shoulder diagnosis and steroid injection, I saw Alex the Physio for about 4 months to get my arm moving again. He was amazing! Confident, chatty, completely put me at ease, and did no end of good for my arm. He gave me advice on other aches and pains as well...I feel like a new person! Couldn't shout about Alex, Jason and the whole team more loudly - they are superb and you couldn't do any better than these guys!

Fantastic experience: The first time I saw Jason, I knew he was good. Just from a visual walk around, he was able to spot areas of my body that needed work. I don't know how, by my stance, how one side had a barely detectable sag... I do not know. But I do know he got my post surgery lumbar back to a point where I am better than have felt in 15 years. and he fixed all the problems I had ignored over the years, and had never dealt with. The best part, he comes to my location in the evening, and that is huge for me after my long days at work. Thanks Jason

During 2020 the safety precautions have been excellent and Jason's remedial therapy and communication skills are excellent. We feel well looked after by Jason at every appointment.
