Fantastic experience: Gordon and his team are wonderful, any questions or concerns are always met with encouragement, reassurance, kindness and humour. I am currently dealing with a running injury after a Marathon and have had amazing support through physio and expert advice from the whole team. If you’re in the area (or not, I travel here from London!) and need to be taken care of I couldn’t think of a better place to go. You truly are in the best and most safe pair of hands in the business.

Fantastic experience: I am an American student studying in England on a sports scholarship and injured my back while competing. I was visiting some friends in the Harpenden area and was really needing to get my back looked at. After doing some research and calling around to some different clinics I came across Redbourn Physiotherapy clinic which was situated in a small village 3 miles away and had been practicing for 28 years with masters degree physios. On top of that they were able to get me in next day. They offered an hours assessment and treatment for not much more than a 30 min appointment offered by other clinics and I chose Sarah Cameron as she specialised in lower back. The assessment was so thorough and the treatment was amazing I now fully understand how to self mange my back with tailor made exercises and stretches. Cannot thank Sarah Cameron and her team enough for such professional care. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend them because I saw results!

Fantastic experience: I saw Mark for my recurring elbow problem and he was excellent at sorting it out. He gave me exercises to help strengthen the weak muscles and also gave me good tips about my golf equipment which proved to be very useful. He is very professional and I would highly recommend him.

He is expert, and personable. He listens very carefully and diagnoses with accuracy. His advice, treatment and exercise programme are entirely bespoke to the individual client's specific injury. Fantastic experience: After being fed up with returning Achilles tendinitis, I booked an appointment to see Gordon for shockwave therapy and am very pleased with how the first session went! Very friendly and knowledgable, instantly put me at ease. I made the booking in the evening and was able to get an appointment next day with great availability. It is also very affordable especially when multiple sessions may be needed. If you’re needing treatment I would definitely recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: Had a serious (to me) back issue, where I could not stand for more than 10 minutes as it was too painful. Couldn't walk very far for the same reason. Saw Mark at this clinic, he was amazing. Within a few weeks I can now stand for much, much longer and I was on holiday last week and walked for 3 hours in 33 degree heat, up lots of stairs going to a historical castle on a steep hillside. Having had a run of back and shoulder injuries and becoming very unfit, Julie helped piece me back together and really get going again to the point of completing a very hilly, cliff climbing marathon walk jog last week in a reasonable time!

Fantastic experience: Sarah is the best Physiotherapist I have ever had! Prior physios have only printed some exercises for me to do. Sarah really helps you feel better after 1 session. In my case, I have tight muscles in my neck and upper back which cause restricted movement. Sarah is hands on and I have left with a lot more movement and feel amazing! I will never change physio's! Physio is life changing for me and I feel in far less pain and more relaxed. Acupuncture here has also made me feel balanced and in less pain. I see they do Reflexology, Pilates, Yoga and other clases too so I'll get booking! It's location is ideal as it's so near to many places like St Albans, Harpenden and Dunstable so it's easy to get to. You can park outside on the High Street. Staff are friendly, kind and I highly recommend a visit. Check out their website to see what other services they provide. My mental health has improved so much by looking after my body more. It's the best place to go to help your overall health!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has had a reoccurring heel injury for 18 months and having tried many different approaches and solutions, none of which lasted we came to see Ryan. He was absolutely fantastic with her. Spent ages understanding the problem, examining her and watching her walk and move. Ryan came up with a recovery plan, help and advice and we left feeling positive about her outcome. She is on the road to recovery now and not only that now understands the triggers, how to maintain her foot fitness and overall manage it without giving up the sport she loves. I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone especially those with sporty children who are injured, but don't just want to give up on their love.

Fantastic experience: Can’t thank the team here enough for treating me and speeding the tricky referral process to treatment within the NHS. Gordon initially treated me and gave huge pain relief but realised I needed to see Ryan who gave me a diagnosis and referral for a neck injury and later To Sarah for a lower back injury. Sarah gave hands on treatment and helped me understand how I could help my pain myself through breathing and exercises . They gave me the best information so when I finally saw a consultant I wasn’t just a gibberish wreck and the NHS consultants were grateful for the work they’d done and the information. I trust and recommend them thoroughly and will continue with after my MRI’s etc for rehabilitation. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful too

Fantastic experience: I had a great couple of treatments with Gordon while I was visiting from Australia. My back and hip were playing up and needed some massage to help get me back home. I couldn’t thank Gordon enough for going the extra mile to make sure I was looked after, had exercises to help and feel really good to get on the plane for the long journey home. Thank you!

Negative experience: Booked appointment and turned up on time. Told there was a double booking (strange how a computer gets it wrong!) Agreed to wait in the heat for 30 mins. After 35 asked where the therapist was and the receptionist did not know. she called him and he had left to get some food (!!) but would be back in a "couple of secs" After another 10 mins I asked if he was returning and she didn't know. As they charge £20 for failing to get some food to turn up for appointments, I agreed with the receptionist they should pay me £20 (two missed appointments) as i had t leave. As i was going the therapist returned and seemed to claim to know nothing about the delayed appointment, despite being called, and refused to pay £20 or even be apologetic. I swore and left .. with the therapist coming after me! Never again will I use them - travelling all that way for an appointment and then being let down with no recompense or apparent concern for the fiasco

Fantastic experience: Sports massage prior to a long cycle which was exactly what I needed

Negative experience: I visited Sarah Cameron in Feb. She may well be good at a diagnosis but this lady really needs to sort her communicates skills with her patients. On my 3rd appointment she said, "What are you here for?" She hadn't even taken the time to review my notes before seeing me. She has no level of compassion. She became very rude when I couldn't understand the exercises she was trying to show me, because her trousers were in the way. She then said, "Well I'm not going to take my trousers off"! Perhaps if she'd stood next to me I might have understood what she meant. She was rude when I responded to her as she was typing up info, "Don't talk to me while I'm doing this" she said. I was speechless. I think she's been in the business too long and needs a refresher course on dealing with patients. I left in tears and refuse to return and would not recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Great physio treatment from Ryan. My back was in a bad way, I could barely walk after a muscle injury and after a few sessions I’m moving well. A few more sessions and I hope to be back to tennis, I highly recommend Ryan and the team.

Fantastic experience: Went for my first visit yesterday to see Gordon for a sports massage. He was really honest, gave me my treatment but then referred me on to see Mark Brennan a Physio within the practice , as he felt it would be really helpful to get me assessed. Gordon didn’t charge me for the sports massage as he was so keen to refer me to see the right person. I managed to see Mark today as he had a cancellation. Mark was really knowledgeable and made a great treatment plan and talked me through my problems and how to hopefully get better. He was thorough with my history and the assessment he did on my problem, and the only regret I have now is that I didn’t go to see him sooner. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've just come back from my first podiatry appointment with Samantha Butler. She was absolutely fantastic! My big toe nail had been extremely painful for months and I was dreading having to undergo another operation on it as I had done many years ago. I was also very anxious about having my feet seen to as any pressure on the nail was dreadfully sore. I needn't have worried at all. Sam was incredible. Not only is she a lovely person and hugely professional but she also speedily diagnosed the issue, reassured me, and treated it - and it was completely painless. I'm now walking on air and have already booked my next appointment to see her. I'm also making an appointment for my husband. Sam is the best podiatrist I've ever been to and I can't recommend her highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I came to Redbourn Physiotherapy for a full sports massage after completing the 3 peaks. Great customer service, making me feel very welcome and comfortable, they also were following all of the social distancing regulations, The work space felt very clean, whipping down all the beds before and after use. I also got a 10/10 message removing all my knots in my legs and back. Would 100% go back.

Fantastic experience: Diane was great. The appointment went very well. I even have an app on my phone now giving me reminders and videos of the exercises I need to do. It was all very smooth and easy for me. Having called and made the appointment Diane just emailed me a link to a 'Zoom' meeting and we were ready to go. Face to face is always better but this was really good and I definitely would not delay a physio appointment because I cannot see them in person.

Fantastic experience: I want to really thank Redbourn Physio in particular Sarah for the online video Physiotherapy consultation via Zoom. It has been a very straightforward process accessing the video consultation and I have received excellent staff attention. Even though she couldn't physically be with me, she has delivered a consultation where not being present was not a barrier; Through an indeph discussion and strategical observation of my body she has found the root of my injury and proceeded with advice and demonstration of exercises to improve the cause of the problem. Proffessional and friendly staff is what I would highlight as Sarah has made me fully understand my problem and recovery process, while making me feel very confortable throughout the consultation which is clearly one of the most difficult achievements as only those with the right skills can provide a such a difficult service online. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I am currently being treated by Sarah Cameron for a chronic shoulder injury. During the lock-down situation my physio sessions with Sarah are being carried out very successfully over Zoom. Sarah has assessed me and sent me exercises using the amazing Physiapp. The exercises are very clear, each one on a video and can be ticked off everyday, which motivates me to do them. Sarah can also see if I have done them!!! I am waiting for surgery which has been delayed and I have been in a lot of pain. Sarah has talked me through the difficulties I am having and helped me to manage my life and adapt my lifestyle whilst awaiting the surgery which has been delayed due to the current covid19 lockdown situation. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough. And I am so grateful that I can still see her and be treated for my rotator cuff problem in these current difficult times.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Zoom session with Sarah at Redbourn Physio today. I’m recovering from an Achilles’ tendon injury so these sessions are vital to aid that process. With the practice being closed during the current crisis these Zoom sessions have proved invaluable. Thanks !

Fantastic experience: I had my first physio appointment via Zoom today. I’m being treated by Sarah in Redbourn and I live in the North of Scotland! It was incredibly easy having been sent all the instructions I needed via email. I was assessed on a zoom call and given a program of exercises via an app. To be able to do all that in the comfort of my own home is amazing!! Looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you

Negative experience: After booking an appointment using the online booking system, arranging childcare, driving nearly an hour in the dark and rain, spending ages looking for parking.. I was told the appointment was left as preliminary on their system so the physio is not available. Utterly unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team! Our son had a serious rugby shoulder injury, resulting in an operation after which Daniel attended Redbourn physio under Sarah who worked her magic , an amazing physiotherapist, supported by Gordon who provided deep tissue massage. This resulted in Daniel making a complete recovery, regaining full use and strength enabling to participate in a school rugby tour this summer. Thank you!!!! Fantastic experience: Have now had four one-to-one Pilates sessions with Julie which I can highly recommend. I feel rejuvenated after each one and leave the Clinic with a spring in my step. Fantastic experience: I had the absolute pleasure of receiving 3 deep tissue massages from Gordon. I had been unable to sleep due to tension following a traumatic life event. My neck and shoulders were so tense that my arms were agony. After the first session the pain had decreased so much that I slept for the first time in weeks. Gordon and the team are very welcoming, accommodating and extremely professional. So much so that I sent my Son, who is a Royal Engineer in the British Army to see Gordon. My son received a sports therapy massage and was able to then carry on his training as normal. I can not recommend the practise highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I’ve just had a first ever sports massage/deep tissue massage after suffering with some aches and muscle stiffness after exercising. Gordon was very thorough, explained clearly how the treatment works and gave me loads of advice to look after my body when training. I felt a little tender to begin with but now all the aches and strains are gone. The team there are friendly and helpful and I received an excellent service all round. I would highly recommend visiting Redbourn Physiotherapy for this kind of treatment.

Negative experience: A slight stiff neck turned into a painful horrible experience after a visit here. Still not ok after 2 years.
