Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend the 8-week wellness programme at The Osteopathy Clinic with Sharisse highly enough. After having a lot (!) of operations on my left foot, I had a further operation earlier this year which left me feeling quite lost about how to move forward and adapt to my “new normal”. I wanted to make sure I was giving myself the best possible chance of becoming as mobile as I could, within the limitations of what my foot has been through. That’s when I decided to join the 8-week programme with Sharisse. From the very beginning, Sharisse took the time to really understand me, my history and the challenges I was facing. She put together a thorough and completely personalised 8-week plan, which included rehabilitation exercises, K-Laser therapy, osteopathy, massage and use of the infrared sauna at the clinic. Throughout the programme I felt incredibly supported. Sharisse gave me lots of guidance around exercises and even recommendations for footwear. She also asked me to send videos of myself walking, and was able to identify areas where I could make improvements that I hadn’t noticed myself. Considering the limitations I have because of my previous operations, I was really impressed by how carefully she looked at what I could improve rather than simply focusing on what I couldn’t do. The osteopathy and laser treatment were particularly helpful in loosening some of the tight joints and muscles. I noticed improvements in the range of movement in both ankles, which in turn allowed for better movement through my calves. I also noticed an improvement in my hip movement when walking, which has helped me to move more naturally and efficiently. Joanne, who works alongside Sharisse, also provided massage treatment and was great at pinpointing the areas in my legs that were particularly tight and needed attention. What I appreciated most was the holistic, one-to-one approach. I didn’t felt like I was just following a generic programme — everything was tailored to me and my needs, and I always felt listened to and supported. I’m very pleased with the progress I’ve made over the 8 weeks and feel much more positive about continuing my journey towards improved mobility. I’m looking forward to continuing to visit the clinic for maintenance treatments and ongoing support. If you’re looking for genuinely personalised, holistic support from people who take the time to understand you and your individual circumstances, I would highly recommend The Osteopathy Clinic and Sharisse.

In the many years I have been treated by Sharisse I have been so impressed by her motivation to learn about new equipment,techniques and advances in healing. She also communicates so well and sends out a regular newsletter to keep patients updated.

Fantastic experience: Sharrise has been my osteopath for a few years now and I can thoroughly recommend her. She used to treat me for a bad back but at present she is giving me cranial treatment which she also does for babies. In-between these treatments I have been seeing Joanne on a Friday for a choice of reflexology, reiki or massage. Joanne is very professional, I really enjoy her sessions and will continue to go. The venue is always warm and a great place to relax. I can't wait for my next visit :-)

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Sharisse highly enough. I have seen many practitioners over the years, but I have never found anyone with the level of skill, intuition, and knowledge that she has. She combines multiple techniques—including acupuncture, cranial sacral work, deep tissue massage, and osteopathic adjustments—and somehow knows exactly what your body needs. Her understanding of the body is incredible, and she takes the time to really listen and explain what’s going on. After just a few sessions I experienced improvements that I hadn’t been able to achieve elsewhere. If you’re looking for someone who is both deeply knowledgeable and truly gifted in hands-on treatment, she is exceptional.

Fantastic experience: I have a diagnosis of MS and have suffered with neuropathic pain for the past 4 years. Sharisse introduced me to K-Laser and it has worked amazingly well. I was in significant pain daily. It would prevent me from falling asleep and wake me through the night. Since starting K-Laser I am no longer in significant pain daily. I rarely experience pain now. Hard to believe how I am now, when I think back to a few months ago. I would 100% recommend K-Laser to others, it really has improved my quality of life. Fantastic experience: I woke up one morning with very painful upper back and neck pain and was lucky enough to get a same-day appointment with Sharisse. As it was my first time seeing an osteopath, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she was so lovely and made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session. Fantastic experience: Every so often, I suffer from discomfort and pain around my left neck and shoulder area. It has been quite debilitating on occasions. An osteopathic treatment as and when, carried out by Sharisse, has always improved my situation and decreased pain levels. I have tended to need a treatment, personalised to me, every two to three months. The sessions have been very successful in treating my condition. This seems to have been brought about by an asymmetric shoulder that has caused an imbalance in ligaments, fascia and muscles. Having tried the new laser treatment, I find this has helped considerably; it seems to penetrate deeper than the conventional acupuncture needles that have been used previously. It leaves a warm glowing feeling and the fascia appears to have greater freedom of movement and be less painful than before the treatment. I intend to continue its use and would recommend it, and Sharisse the practioner, to anyone experiencing similar pain. The good news is that I seem to need treatment less frequently now, so it looks as though there is a cost saving element to the laser treatment as well.

Fantastic experience: I have been using The Osteopathy Clinic on a regular basis - to stay in good shape and to treat specific issues like my knees, wrist, shoulder, neck and sacroiliac joint. Sharisse has a wealth of experience and has many tools and techniques to draw from. As a yoga teacher and massage therapist - I have recommended her services to many of my own clients. She’s first class! More recently, I have tried K Laser Therapy for chronic hip bursitis. I needed 2 treatments a week for the first few weeks and now I return on a needs must basis. It's a pain free solver to many myofacial issues - give it a go!

Fantastic experience: After trying all other sorts of treatment for a knee problem Sharisse has helped me the most, using not only deep massage but ultrasound and acupuncture which have proven to be very effective.. I have also been treated by Sharisse for a painful foot problem, using K Laser treatment which has been very successful. Sharisse takes a great interest in finding the best solution. I feel very lucky to have found Sharisse, whom I have great faith in and whatever your problem, I would thoroughly recommend having a consultation with her.. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. I am a keen golfer over 50 years old. Stiffness in my back, lower legs and shoulders were impacting my golf enjoyment. Ultimately resulting in not being able to play without pain and having to retire mid round. A few sessions with Joanne have change that. My body feels so much better, no pain, no stiffness and my golf has drastically improved.(back down to 4 again!!) It is wonderful I can walk and play any sport without pain. Life is so much more enjoyable. My advice to any golfers with stiffness is don’t get a buggy but go and see Joanne.

Fantastic experience: I was in my 60’s and had never been to an Osteopath, I was very sceptical but so pleased I found Sharisse, she has made such a difference to my general mobility Sharisse has been treating me on and off for several years now. Initially for stiffness in my neck, with manipulation and acupuncture it has vastly improved. She has also alleviated lower back pain, bursitis, dizziness and most recently giving me k laser therapy on both shoulders, both being wrenched backwards and causing severe pain into my arms. This treatment is amazing. It is very relaxing, all you feel is warmth from the laser. I highly recommend the treatments that Sharisse offers and don’t put off going like I did, go for a consultation and see for yourself.

Fantastic experience: I have known Sharisse for a few years and always go to her for osteopathy. When I had a cycle crash a year ago (7 pelvic/hip fractures) I went to see her after 6 months as part of my pelvic bone was slow to heal plus I had sustained bi-lateral gluteal tendinopathy/bursitis due to muscle atrophy. I began a course of K Laser which greatly helped to accelerate my bone healing and relieved pain in my bursitis and surrounding ligaments. In addition I credit Sharisse with ‘teaching’ me to learn to walk correctly again.Back cycling now and I am forever grateful to her and K Laser!

All I can say is WOW, this has really helped lessen my pain levels and eased my joints to a more manageable level. Fantastic experience: I’ve had the most relaxing and enjoyable Indian head massage with Joanne. I struggle to relax but this treatment was amazing. Started with neck, shoulder and upper arm massage and then went on to the head massage. I decided to have that with the oil and much to my surprise at the end of my one hour treatment my hair wasn’t at all oily or sticky. I can highly recommend Joanne.

Joanne was friendly and very professional, giving me privacy to get undressed and checking any current physical issues etc as I have been also treated with osteopathy. Fantastic experience: After looking for a masseuse who gave a "firm" massage, I had tried and failed to find one around the St Albans area until I visited Joanne at The Osteopathy Clinic. From needing to eliminate back pain and muscle pain pre and post a marathon, Joanne really helped with my muscle recovery in particular for hamstring tightness. I would really recommend Joanne for sports massages and for deep tissue massages in particular as she really focuses on your problem areas. I look forward to visiting Joanne on a regular basis.

Fantastic experience: I visited Sharisse after having recurring issues with shin splints whilst running. I had a gait analysis and cannot recommend Sharisse enough! She listened very carefully when I explained by shin splint issues and was able to do a really in-depth gait analysis. I bought some insoles, which have been incredible, and also went for a few sessions of sports massage, which were also amazing and helped cure my terribly tight calves. I cannot recommend Sharisse enough, really great experience all round!

Fantastic experience: I don't usually go to get any treatments other than massages, but when I was in agony due to severe pain in my upper back and shoulder earlier this week - I called Sharisse up, and she was able to fit me in on the same day which I was extremley grateful for. I couldn't recommend Sharrise highly enough. The way she took care of my body at first appointment was second to none. From feeling like my arm was about to come off, just hours after being cared by Sharisse, I could quickly notice the difference and by the time I returned for a second appointment after only 2 days - I'm nearly back to 'new'. Fantastic experience: I was transferred to Sharisse after my long term osteopath moved away, being disabled I relied on my past osteopath to keep me moving from head to foot. I was nervous but working a couple of minutes Sharisse had made me comfortable and was so lovely in her approach I saw why my last osteopath recommended her. I was over the moon, I have now been visiting Sharisse for quite a few months and she is wonderful, all aches and pains her treated and for the first time in years my headache actually goes away. Fantastic experience: Sharisse has treated my shoulder/upper back/neck, which at one point caused me a lot of pain. She used a range of techniques and I felt she really considered my individual situation and what might work best for me, with care, responsiveness and attention to detail. I'm glad to say that I'm no longer bothered by that pain! I also went to her for gait analysis and to buy orthotics because of pain in my knee. The orthotics have been great and I am now much more mindful of the way I walk (the gait analysis was really eye-opening). If you're looking for an osteopath, I wouldn't hestitate to recommend Sharisse.

Fantastic experience: I have visited Sharisse twice this year. Firstly for knee pain related to training for a half marathon, Sharisse conducted a thorough examination and diagnosis. I followed the exercises she prescribed and I now run without pain. Secondly, I had been experiencing neck pains and headaches. Sharisse kindly fitted me in at short notice. My neck is now feeling much freer and I haven't experienced the same tension headaches. Would definitely recommend seeing Sharisse, she is thorough, her diagnosis is clear, treatment affective and she always gives you helpful day to day tips too!

Fantastic experience: I approached Sharisse to update my orthotics which I need for impact activities. Lately I had experienced knee and ankle pain, which I believed to be caused by a combination of my old orthotics plus worn down training shoes no longer holding my joints in the correct alignment. Sharisse was very diligent in her measurement of my normal standing and walking patterns: taking the time to explain my results thoroughly. She impressed me further by discussing my results and previous issues I had experienced with the manufacturer's technicians to ensure my orthotics were correct for my current needs! Immediately I put the orthotics in my trainers my ankle felt stable. I have yet to wear them in my new walking boots, but am excited to think the 3D printed inner sole will support my feet correctly, so preventing future pain. Thank you Sharisse.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Sharisse over two years ago, when the osteopath I’d been going to for just over 30 years retired. I have been very impressed by the highly professional & hugely knowledgeable approach that Sharisse brings to every appointment. Sharisse is a good listener and that, coupled with her friendly & positive attitude, immediately makes you feel relaxed & confident in her abilities. My intermittent lower back pain is now very well controlled. More recently l saw Sharisse for an atypical painful shoulder injury, acquired in the gym! Within days of my first consultation, the treatment Sharisse provided had significantly reduced the pain & after a second consultation, my shoulder & arm are almost pain free. I have now regained a full range of shoulder joint movement. A credit to her great diagnostic skills and tailored treatments.

Fantastic experience: Sharisse was absolutely fantastic with my 11 year old daughter. My daughter had been suffering terribly with her knee for years. After waiting and waiting for am NHS appointment I decided to take the plunge and see an expert privately. Best decision I ever made. What had previously been diagnosed as a knee issue was actually a foot issue. After two sessions, my daughter's life has changed incredibly and she now does her foot exercises regularly and her knee issue has gone!
