Also long standing problems with plantar fasciitus massively improved with just a couple of treatments. Alistair is a very competent and highly skilled physiotherapist and has made life changing treatments for me in a very short space of time. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Mr Magic Hands (MMH) I've been treated by Alister (MMH) with a few different ailments over the years, mainly to do with my lower back . I have always found (MMH) takes his time, listens attentively and asks any relevant questions so he has a full understanding of the problem before beginning any treatment. I've mainly been treated with acupuncture, cupping and manipulation all of which have been completed in a highly effective and professional manner. (MMH) has an amazing ability to make you feel comfortable even when you're at your most exposed and vulnerable. I've recommended (MMH) with confidence to numerous people all of whom have felt the same way about their experience. (MMH) effective treatment coupled with any suggested easy exercise routine to complete at home will ensure that you definitely reap the benefits and feel like new again .

Fantastic experience: I visited Alistair with a severe issue on my left side/back having been told an NHS appointment would be 3 months. I got in very quickly and Alistair diagnosed and treated the issue - and I walked out a totally different person......Highly recommend Alistair !

Fantastic experience: Amazing physio; I had a litany of injuries that had stopped me from exercising, and Ali diagnosed one issue (an arthritic toe) and set me a rehab plan that got me up and running again within a week, after six months of chronic pain and no exercise. He then tackled a long standing shoulder issue that I have had for years, and improved that through a mixture of dry needling and massage within two sessions. I can not recommend him enough; he seemed focused on solving my issues, rather than looking to see how many sessions he could charge me for, and within a month I am in a much better place than I was previously, with my toe in a much healthier place, and me being able to go back to exercise in a better place than I was before. I wish that I had come to him earlier, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to him for any issue, knowing his expertise and value for money.

Fantastic experience: I was quite pessimistic about going to see a physio as I had gone through 2 different physios previously - one said I didn’t have anything wrong with me despite telling them I was in debilitating pain; and the other only provided a temporary fix to a problem they couldn’t identify. But Alistair has SAVED my experience of physiotherapy. Not only is he incredibly knowledgable, he was able to diagnose me in the first 20 minutes of examining me. The relief I felt of someone finally identifying what was wrong was amazing. After following his rehab programme that he set me, I am a year down the line from my first visit and I’ve not had a flare up of my problem again. I honestly can’t recommend Alistair enough, especially for those who may have lost faith in getting their problem resolved. Thank you so much for everything!

Fantastic experience: After only two visits my partners severe back pain following a muscle strain is all sorted! Staggered in somewhat crooked and hobbling, came out like normal. Was quick and easy to get an appointment. Dry needles and a massage each visit followed by clear advice on some home exercises to do has got him fixed! Highly recommended. Fantastic experience: Simply brilliant. After a considered diagnosis and target treatment that included acupuncture and a series of exercises my issue was resolved rapidly. So much so I was able to participate in a half marathon a week later when the prospect of getting to the start was rather bleak. Excellent service treatment was clear from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Alistair to treat pain in my Shoulder caused by a fall I had over 8 months ago. I'd had an x-ray, ultra sound scan and a steroid injection but was getting no where regarding pain relief. Alistair asked me how I fell and then got me to move my arm in various positions to assess my movement. He treated me with acupuncture and ultrasound therapy and showed me some exercises to do to relieve the pain. He told me it might take 2 or 3 visits to sort it but after only the first appointment and a week of doing the exercises my pain has virtually disappeared. I cannot rate him highly enough, he certainly knows what he's doing and explained to me what had happened to my shoulder when I fell. It's reassuring to know that should I need physiotherapy in the future that there is someone knowledgeable and capable to treat me. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Ali came recommended to me with extensive experience in shoulder pain/injuries. I'd had a sore shoulder for over 3 months which just wouldn't settle down. Ali quickly identified the affected muscle and recommended a short course of acupuncture and massage. Even after the first session the pain reduced noticeably and my range of movement had improved. I had been experiencing back pain especially along my spine for several days before taking the step to get help as it was becoming unbearable and I couldn’t seem to shift it. I was lucky enough to get a very quick appointment and once I explained the issue Alistair asked me to do a few moves and he fully explained what he thought the issue was. Treatment plan also explained and straight to work with acupuncture and cupping. Incredible results with instant relief of pain, unbelievable to walk out different to how I walked in. Fantastic experience: Over the years of my sporting life I have used different physios. When I moved into Leicestershire I had to find a new physio due to a sports injury. Thank goodness I found Ali. His diagnostic ability still astonishes me now. I’ve been using Ali for 10 years as I have had various different sports injuries. Ali has used a combination of acupuncture, manual therapy and rehab exercises. The treatment received, relieved my pain, increased my mobility, which, enabled me to make a speedier recovery to continue with my sporting endeavours. Fantastic experience: My experience with New Park Physiotherapy was absolutely fantastic. Having recently really gotten into running, I typically fell into the trap of developing IT band issues through over training underdeveloped muscles. Alistair was able to locate this weakness, providing an initial session of acupuncture, and stretching to help increase mobility. I was also provided with an exercise sheet, personalised to my specific needs. It's now been a month and a half since my visit with NPP and I have noticed a real improvement in my physical wellbeing and running itself. I cannot thank the team enough and would highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I had a problem with my left knee causing me quite a bit of discomfort for which i was taking pain killers to cope.Unable to get a doctors appointment for 6 weeks.Rang New Park and spoke to Alistair who booked me in within 6 days.After a thorough consultation, acupuncture and a clear exercise plan, within 2 days i was able to come off my medication.After only a few more sessions, and discovering i was still unable to fully straighten my knee, he diagnose a possible maniscal tear.He advised me to see a orthopedic consultant , wrote a comprehensive report on his observation ( which the orthopedic consultant said it was one of the most comprehensive reports he had seen ) and he agreed with Alistair's diagnosis.Have nothing but praise for Alistair and his team, who significantly reduced the amount of time i was in pain, and accurately diagnosed my problem. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Ali helped significantly with a sports calf injury with his superb acupuncture skills. After following the instructions & careful guidance, my calf soon improved and I was able to run a midnight marathon shortly after. An incredibly quick fix for me...phew! Not only this, Ali certainly enjoys his cycling and running events himself, so clearly has a keen interest in long-distance sports events! The best acupuncturist for sure! Book an appointment and you won't be disappointed!

He quickly assessed me and figured out what the problem was - gave me some acupuncture & just like that the pain was gone. I cannot recommend him enough. Fantastic experience: For years I suffered with lower back pain, at times it was really chronic and utterly debilitating. I eventually decided to try to get something done and visited New Park Physiotherapy after reading several reviews. I wish I'd done it sooner! Alistair listened to my descriptions of the problem along with my medical history, he examined me and was able to diagnose the issues on our first consultation. He then went on to treat me accordingly. After the first session I felt much better already. I went away with a personalised exercise programme and the confidence from knowing what the problem was. I had a follow up appointment and treatment two weeks later, another confidence giving experience. I can't praise Alistair enough. I am so pleased I made the decision to seek help and that I chose to go with New Park Physiotherapy.

Fantastic experience: Literally the first review I've ever written anywhere but it's needed.... Ben has changed my entire outlook in one session. I've seen 3 physios, a chiropractor and an osteopath and not one of them gave me the detailed explanation of what is going on that Ben did. I went in just hoping for some pain relief but came out with the knowledge that I'll be able to live a normal life and pick up kickboxing again with suggested exercises and treatment. CANNOT recommend enough!

I’ve suffered with a herniated disc and back pain ever since an injury which occurred around 9 years ago. Fantastic experience: I recently went to see Alistair for a grumbling back problem that I've had for months. With just a few sessions the deep ache I had in my back was reduced to a niggle. The exercises and treatment that he gave me plus his easy explanation of my problem helped me to get back to the gym. Great service, friendly chap, lovely clean clinic.

Fantastic experience: Ali very skilfully and reassuringly cured a recurring stomach pain I was suffering, which was traced back to too many hours of long haul flying by my doctor. He listened to my symptoms and health history and explained clearly what benefits physiotherapy could offer. Having been initially sceptical about the benefits of acupuncture, I was persuaded by Ali to try the procedure as a trial. He administered treatment in a confident manner, and my symptoms disappeared within two weeks, and also gave me some tips to stop the problem from returning. I'd very happily go back, but pleased to say the advice has worked well and I have had no subsequent issues.
