Fantastic experience: I was recommended to central chiropractor Coventry following a period of problems maintaining an erection. The consultation made clear what was going to happen and the “non-invasive” nature of the shockwave treatment appealed to me. I contacted to this clinic and spoke with the lovely and helpful lady Dawn who explained the whole procedure and cost which was really helpful to decide on my decision for this clinic and yes they’re really cheap compared to other clinics . At first day I had consultation with Maria the main lady who’s asked me to fill a questionnaire and then explained the process in detail just before the first session. After the first treatment there was no significant progress, but after the second and third, results started to happen quickly. Yes I can say there is an improvement . I would not hesitate to recommend the treatment, which is appropriate for any male that needs to rejuvenate his sex life. The treatment is painless and the clinicians make it as pleasant as possible.

Fantastic experience: Suffer no more, Maria’s got the cure! I’d been feeling pretty rubbish after noticing weakness in my right arm / shoulder. I like to train. It stopped me from training. I got sad. Fast forward a few weeks - as if not training wasn’t bad enough - I go and catch covid and end up bedridden for a week. Well, duck a buck, things went right bits up. I couldn’t sleep, I was taking enough painkillers to tranquilise a donkey, and even simple things like blow drying my hair was enough to have me wallowing. Luckily for me, I complained to the right person, at the right time and I was directed to Maria at Coventry Chiropractors. Well, what a difference! She could see what the problem was straight away and has been working on it ever since. The improvement has had a huge, huge impact on my overall well-being. Shout out to Dawn, too. Fantastic experience: I've been going through treatments for sciatica pain in the clinic and have been having a great experience so far. John has been very thorough in examing my condition and explaining everything. Already seeing improvement.

Negative experience: The first consultation was really good. The chiropractor diagnosed me with neck pain, (even though I came because of pain in my arm) he then cricked my neck and I felt so much better. He was so positive and up beat and said “you will get relief and for the second session we will work on soft tissue.” I explained I found it painful to work on a computer and he told me how to orient myself so that I had the correct posture. I had high hopes but then a few days later when I attempted to use the computer the pain(in my arm) was still there and became more aggravated. I had been signed off work and assumed I would be able to go back quite soon but unfortunately I wasn’t able to do this. On the second session I asked the chiropractor when he thought I could go back to work and he said “well that’s up to you” which wasn’t very helpful! He then manipulated my neck even though I thought he was going to work on my shoulder and arm. This time I didn’t feel any reduction in pain. However a day later the pain in my arm increased dramatically. Before the second appointment it was a 3/10 and after the second appointment it was a 6/10. I’ve also got a bit of an aching neck which I never had before seeing the chiropractor. I’ve now been to see a physiotherapist(at a private hospital) and have been diagnosed with golfers elbow. So overall thought I know lots of people have had a positive experience and got results, unfortunately I’m not one of them and I think if you have back pain the chiropractors are good, but for anything else I really can’t recommend this clinic, and I’ve just wasted my money and increased my pain.

Fantastic experience: A very good clinic. The staff is responsive, and the specialists are qualified, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. I personally went to Maria. She helped me a lot, as well as other members of my family. I always recommend this clinic to my friends and acquaintances.

Positive experience: Firstly, it's important to note that no individual can both undergo treatment and not undergo treatment, in order to see how much it helped or hinded things. With that said: I had several appointments with John at the clinic. The diagnosis seemed a bit uncertain and the treatment sometimes felt like going through the motions, but that may be the way things go. I saw no significant or consistent improvement over the treatments I had. After several sessions with John, I had one session with Maria. She seemed very confident and knowledgeable, but after my appointment my pain was significantly worse, and I was in intense pain for the next 2 weeks - it took around 3 weeks to get back to the same level as I was before that appointment. On recommendation from the clinic I got an MRI at Heath Lodge. I was initially told it would be £325, but ended up paying £450, apparently due to insufficient detail on the region to be scanned. although I decided to proceed with this, as there was uncertainty about whether my problem was a herniated disk or SI joint issue, and hoped a broader scan region would cover both. Heath Lodge says clinical reports should be returned within 7 working days - after 14 working days I phoned Central Chiropractic as I'd not heard anything. They had the report in hand (having had it for 9 days before I called based on the report date), but had not got in touch with me. The report indicated a sequestrated herniated disk, but in the end, I decided to discontinue treatment as it didn't appear to be helping. Still, it's better than the NHS - in the same 2+1/2 month period all they managed was a blood test(!!).

Fantastic experience: Came in with a rotator cuff injury that wasn’t healing on its own. Had some laser treatments with John and after a few weeks my shoulder had improved 10 fold. Highly recommend treatment here, I won’t hesitate next time.

The staff on the phones are always very professional and helpful, making booking and enquiries very straight forward and stress free. Maria’s wealth of knowledge never ceases to amaze me. No matter what issue I present through a variation of ice hockey injuries to unknown niggles, she is always able to diagnose and mend me in a session or two. The variety of treatment makes all of this possible, between manipulation, k-laser, acupuncture and I’m sure many other options, there has never been an unsuccessful visit where I haven’t felt much better leaving than I did when I arrived. I will continue to book in with Maria for any treatment as soon as I feel an issue, and would highly recommend her and this clinic to anyone looking for a professional, friendly and reliable service in Coventry :)
