Fantastic experience: Martin is the osteopath I saw. Very knowledgeable with advice and friendly. I had damaged my lower back ligaments which after 3 treatments are thankfully better. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to revisit if I should ever have any issues again.

Honestly, after just one session it was already feeling better, and after two sessions it was completely gone. No more pain killers - i'm so grateful! As well as the consultation, treatment, massage and clicks, Reece gave loads of helpful advice on exercises, lying positions and sitting posture, and even took the time to look at an old niggle I’ve had in my back for years. I’ve suffered from severe back and leg pain due to several disc issues and sciatica. I’ve consulted GPs, physios, and other specialists, but nothing has ever truly helped alleviate the pain. Fantastic experience: This was the first time I enlisted the help of an osteopath. Vivian came recommended by a friend who intimated that he “sorted” her neck and back out completely. Apparently I Ian had several family members and friends. I had been in pain in my neck and back for some time. I had tried other treatments but the pain returned I found Vivian to be very knowledgeable. He manipulated my neck gently. What he did felt good. I am aware that he may not be able to eliminate the pain completely but getting some relief was good. I am seeing him again in 3 week’s time.

Fantastic experience: I'd been having problems with my right shoulder for years which usually got better after each flare up within a week or so. However, since mid-Oct the flare up was not easing up & causing constant pain. Knowing the horrendous waiting lists within the NHS, having been a victim myself for 2 years waiting for double total knee replacements, I decided I needed to go privately to get the issue sorted. I originally found the clinic by searching for top Osteopaths in Coventry. The prices seemed fairly standard across the industry. I booked in with Viv & on attending my first appt I knew I had done the right thing. Viv is very professional, friendly, reassuring, thorough & tells it like it is! He diagnosed Rotator Cuff injury & advised me it may improve with manipulation or may more investigation, such as an x-ray. I attended weekly at first & now every 2 - 3 weeks. My shoulder, though still sore, & can be extremely painful at times, has so much more movement which has been a huge improvement from how it had been. My shoulder strength is gradually improving & I'm confident that over the months it will continue to improve further. Viv is very genuine & thoughtful. Having treated my mum for a short time last year & knowing my hubby's poor health always asks after them at each appt. I would have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to anyone needing Osteopathic care to anyone. Thank you x

Negative experience: Not good at all. I had to cancel my first appointment, they were fast enough cancelling it but have not refunded me my £65. It's been over 3 weeks now. I've emailed them twice about it and they have completely ignored me.

My 13 year old son is a competitive swimmer, he has been having problems with his shoulder for 6 months complaining about pain which affected his swimming. A physiotherapist referred him to a surgeon for further investigation. We were recommended to reduce swimming which was disappointing for my son. I then took him to Martin to get a second opinion . Following just two sessions my son was pain free and his coach noticed a vast improvement. I would highly recommend Martin who is very professional and trustworthy.

Martin was so professional and polite to get to the root of her concern and clearly explained the cause and treatment. He even got into the details of her medical history and was very empathetic. Fantastic experience: I would really recommend COSIC. I went in with a bad back and Martin, diagnosed me, recommended the course of treatment and how long it would take to get me back to normal. He was exactly right! My back is back to normal after the exact course and time Martin said. Fantastic experience: I saw Chris Glover mid December 2.5 months after surgery for total quadriceps tendon rupture and I had been feeling extremely low that week. I felt pretty let down by the NHS and was sure I had done some damage to my tendon from over pushing things. Chris gave me real peace of mind, he actually boosted my confidence that I am really on track to getting back to some normality . He assessed what I could do and what I have been doing to get to that, explained why the swelling is as it is, and manipulated my patellar to ensure it was doing what it should . He gave me some great pointers to help with the stiffness and since seeing him I have abandoned the leg brace for good ! Thank you so much and see you in 2023!

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from lower back pain for around a year and kept thinking that I just needed to rest or take it easy and I would recover by myself. It reached the point where the pain was unbearable and I was struggling with walking around in the home without feeling pain. I was somebody who would consider themselves active prior to all of this. I would go to the gym most days and would also play football. I visited the clinic in September and had a consultation with Martin. Today I was discharged after about 5 visits. After every visit I felt much better in terms of pain and manoeuvrability with my lower back. After each session I felt like there was actual hope for me after thinking for so long that my back could not be fixed. I cannot thank Martin enough for the support and help. I no longer think twice about my back when doing something active now.

Fantastic experience: Excellent. As a tradesman in my 30’s I had an upper back/shoulder issue that was resulting in me losing feeling in my hands. Doctors diagnosed as unresolvable issue that I would have to manage and live with. Upon visiting the clinic, they immediately disagreed and went to work loosening, manipulating to increase blood flow. It has worked wonders for my sleep, energy and mood. A great alternative therapy, Martin is extremely knowledgable, thorough and puts you at ease.

Fantastic experience: I have been having appointments with Viv for 2 years now, I initially went as I was struggling with back pain and sciatica. I had visited the doctors a number of times and not really got anywhere other than a strong prescription and potential physio if I was willing to wait a few months! My first appointment with Viv he advised it sounded like a slipped disc, I then had an MRI scan which confirmed this, and Viv helped explain the findings of my scan to myself and my family, and assure us that it was nothing to panic about. Initially my appoints where weekly, but as the treatment helped reduce the pain I followed Viv’s guidance to slowly reduce frequency to the point where I now only visit every six months for general ‘maintenance’ and to reduce the chance of future issues! As a young girl I was very nervous about going to an osteopath, but I was made to feel very comfortable. Viv was and is very thorough with treatment, from giving advice, answering questions, showing exercises to help at home and also offering alternatives to massage/manipulation such as dry needling if it will help! I have advised a number of friends and family to go as a general ‘maintenance’ check, my mum has visited a number of times for other problems and is also incredibly grateful for the treatment, advice and support viv has provided!

NHS did not help, doctor sent me for x-ray then diagnosed arthritis. Been visiting Coventry Osteopathic & Sports injury clinic for a couple of months and such an improvement - back playing golf , brace only required when doing something really heavy like splitting logs. Fantastic experience: I have been going to see Viv Cook for help with various problems that I have had for almost 20 years. These problems include work on both of my knees following Cartledge operations & subsequently work on my one knee following a total knee replacement operation. In addition he has also worked on both of my shoulders following operations on them. He has also helped considerably with issues affecting my back, neck & overall posture. Whilst that details most of the work that he has carried out, he has also given me invaluable advice on exercises to do following the treatments to help me overcome the problems that caused those situations in the first place. Now, I seem to be at the happy stage where I only need to see him periodically for an MOT on my body to ensure that it remains pain free. On final comment is that his general approach to treatment is upbeat & this has helped me tremendously during the time that I have been going to see. Keep it up, Viv.

Fantastic experience: I twisted my spine and didn’t notice when I snapped my collar bone and by the time my collar bone had healed my back was in agony. Viv over the course of a few treatments had got my mobility back and took away the pains and aches!
