Fantastic experience: I went to Phil with a sore neck and 4-5 debilitating headaches a week with most of them ending in having to take to my bed after taking several painkillers. I saw Phil four times on a weekly basis. After my second visit only one headache within that week with no headaches after my third visit and my neck is moving freely. I have suffered with headaches for years so this is absolutely fantastic. Thanks Phil.

Fantastic experience: Phil has been phenomenal. I was suffering with terrible neck and shoulder pain giving me headaches. He relieved all pain with massage and acupuncture. After 3 sessions the pain was minimal, by session 5 gone completely. Aftercare with advice of exercises as well to help be keep it at bay. Couldn’t recommend Phil more and will come back to Phil if the issues reoccurs (hopefully it won’t). Cheers Phil!

Fantastic experience: I attended last week due to a twinged neck and shoulder pain. Phil was lovely as he asked about my symptoms and examined my shoulder. Fantastic experience: Phil saw my daughter at very short notice, she can get very anxious at medical appointments and communicating with people she is unfamiliar with but Phil was so good with her during the assessment, explained everything he was doing, and did not expect to much from her in terms of verbal communication. He was so thorough and put ours minds at rest with regards to an inaccurate diagnosis she had been given a week earlier. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Second session with Phil, having nursed a neck injury for many years and visiting a number of specialist over the years. Fantastic experience: I went to Phil for tendonitis issue i was having and honestly can’t recommend him enough. He explained things in a way that made sense, gave me exercises that actually worked, and really helped ease the pain. friendly and supportive too made the whole recovery process so much easier.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend highly enough! Phil is an amazing professional. I have a fairly difficult work schedule to fit appointments around but from the first appointment , Phil moved his own life around to fit me in outside normal clinic hours. He quickly made a diagnosis and appropriately ruled out anything more serious with his amazing breadth of expert knowledge. Treatment was a course of shock wave therapy for a tendinopathy alongside a programme of targeted exercises to strengthen the area. Very quickly got on top of a problem that had been present a couple of months and got me back to full function. Phil never tried to upsell any unnecessary or further treatment and you can feel how dedicated he is to making people better without trying to make money out of the problem. Phil spent time giving me advice on conditioning work in general and has now helped me achieve a golf swing speed that I've never achieved pre-injury! The clinic is well located and parking is easy nearby.

Fantastic experience: Called for an appointment and Phil offered me to come in the same day which was a great start. I had been struggling with a lower back injury for 3 weeks. After a consultation, Phil got to work. I hadn’t had physio before so didn’t know what to expect but I was really impressed at how quickly the issue was found. Phil talked to me throughout the session and informed me of what he was doing every step of the way. He applied acupuncture for the last part of the session which was new to me but I felt an instant relief after the session. Phil set me up with an exercise plan which was emailed through to me and I had an option to download my programme via an app which was easy to use. It’s been a few hours since the session and I feel so much better. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a competent, friendly physio. I’ll be back to sort a few other issues I’ve accumulated over the years!

Fantastic experience: I saw Phil over a period of time with a frozen shoulder and what turned out to be a detached tendon also. I had been in some pain and had quite limited movement. Phil gradually increased my movement and with that a reduction in pain alongside exercises he gave me between visits. I have recommended Phil to my friends. He is enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable also sorting out minor other niggles for me along the way. I won't hesitate to be back with any minor or major problems in the future Thanks Phil!

Fantastic experience: Phil is a real pro. He has recently treated me for a shoulder/rotator cuff injury. His diagnosis and hands on treatment have certainly improved what is a painful situation. Fantastic experience: I went to see Phil with a very painful Achilles tendon which was severely restricting exercise. He explained the options around treatment and ultimately we decided the best course of treatment was shock wave therapy. The improvement was almost immediate after the initial session but by the end of the 4 week course I am pain free and back to my usual exercise routines. I can’t thank Phil enough and along with his cheerful and friendly approach it’s made it a pleasure being treated at South Ribble Physiotherapy.

Fantastic experience: I made a great choice in picking South Ribble Physiotherapy to help me try and recover from Plantar Fasciitis. I had been recommended to try “Shock Wave Therapy” and that’s one of many treatments that Phil can give. The boss/owner Phil, is knowledgable and has a very nice manner and good work ethos. After every session, I always departed from his treatment room feeling better than when I entered, well done Phil. He is a “hands on Phsio” and that’s what I prefer, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending his services

Fantastic experience: After suffering with a long term injury to the sole of my foot through overtraining and running I decided to visit Phil at South Ribble Physiotherapy. It was evident very early in my consultation that Phil has a high level of knowledge & after some assessment recommended a course of rehab exercise to strengthen my foot arch, including some shoe insoles for my training. 2-3 months on I no longer suffer with daily pain in my foot, can walk long distances again and run shorter distances, I have also managed to get back on the ski slope since working with Phil something I thought was no longer possible. Fantastic experience: Excellent first consultation to get to the bottom of a hamstring issue. Phil identified the source of the pain which was not where the pain seemed to be. After working on the source, the pain was considerably improved. Advice provided helped me plan recovery and filter much of the mixed recommendations on the internet.

Fantastic experience: I have recently been having treatment from Phil for whiplash after a slip on some ice, I was struggling to move my head and it was really affecting my life. After treatment I am much better, following several sessions. He was very friendly and professional in his approach to discussing the injury, the reasons it may have happened and the treatment required to overcome it. After one session and a couple of weeks of set exercises I can now move around pain free. A highly recommended physiotherapist.

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen Phil a few times over the past couple of years for differing issues and his care and knowledge is excellent. He always throughly checks everything that could be associated with any issue and quickly diagnoses what the root cause is. Following this he gives a follow on care plan of how to improve things through exercise and stretching (with examples.) He’s only ever a phone call away for help and advice too. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: I visited Phil with a damaged rotator cuff which was limiting my movement in my arm and shoulder. I had been doing exercises at home but wanted some extra support. The advice he gave me really helped and I have regained almost full movement pain free in my arm and shoulder.
