Fantastic experience: From my first visit to Bhavik at Back in Action. I realised I was in the very best of hands. I dislocated L4 & L5 discs. Excruciatingly painful & very difficult just to move. Within 10mins Bhavik had identified the problem & put them back in place. The relief was instantaneous. After more manipulation I walked out upright & smiling. I’ve seen Bhavik a good few times now as he’s been working on my Anterior Femoral Nerve, damaged when the discs came out. I’m pretty much back to 100%now. I can’t thank or recommend Bhavik & the Back in Action team enough. Thank you guys for getting me back to good health.

Fantastic experience: Bhavini and Bhavik have been fantastic in helping me with my arthritis diagnosis and management. I also have suffered with neck shoulder and upper back pains. Which has been solved. They provided me with thorough testing, explanation and plan of management. They performed manual joint back manipulation, stretches, massage, dry needling and sports taping. Which all really helped. They also give lots diet and stress management advice to help manage my Arthritic condition better which has made a difference. They communicate very well and are genuine, caring and very skilled- definitely recommend them to anyone with pain.

Fantastic experience: I've been suffering acute back pain for 3 months and on my initial assessment with bavick he diagnosed me with DDD on symptoms and his very good assessments which was then confirmed by x-ray weeks later. I could barely sit without sharp pain when I first saw him, the type of pain has changed which is good and he looks after me weekly until I'm fit to progress to strength training. He looks at everything you do in life to try and help make adjustments for my back. He looks at lots of different angles as he is holistic which is brilliant practice and rare to find these days. Fantastic experience: I visited Back in Action after suffering from neck pain all my adult life (15 years), which was getting worse and restricting what I was choosing to do in my life. Bhavik has always been incredibly approachable, supportive and helpful and I feel lucky to have worked with him. My pain was diagnosed and I was given treatment and guidance for how to manage the pain to the point where I can go for days without feeling much discomfort at all, which I didn't believe was possible at the time. For context, I'm a teacher in my 30s, who exercises around 3x a week (swim, cycling and gym). When I do have times it begins to hurt, I now know strategies to reduce the discomfort and ease the pain much sooner. I initially begun appointments weekly (for a short period) which turned to 3 months and now (3 years on) I have probably visit twice a year. My posture's better, my confidence in all exercises has increased and I feel a much greater awareness of what I can do to help my body. It has honestly been a life-changer and I would recommend it to anyone suffering from discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the back in action clinic on a regular basis for about 20 years. Initially to deal with a neck issue which was resolved quickly. Louis is a very experienced chiropractor with a wide range of skills. He listens and responds appropriately. He does not clock watch and gives individuals what they need. Over the years he has helped me overcome a range of issues from lower back pain to plantar faciatis, bursitis and swallowing issues. Louis always checks out and adjusts my spine and neck on each visit with additional adjustments where needed. All of the staff at the clinic are very supportive and helpful. It is a welcoming place. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone who has back, neck or joint pain or issues. They will get you moving again.

Over 12 months, I have gone from barely being able to sit or stand still, with near constant fatigue - to feeling almost as good as I did years ago! Can't recommend Bhavik highly enough

Negative experience: I don’t usually leave reviews, however felt like I had to on this occasion. I visited for an ongoing neck issue. I had a 45 minute initial consultation with Louis. For a start, I was told by Louis that I had pronating ankles (without taking off my shoes or socks and stood on an uneven floor). For reference I have been to several running shops and had my feet analysed for trainers, never once been told I had abnormalities to my feet. Secondly, I was tested for muscle weakness in my legs and arms by pulling and pushing against his hand. Louis would very clearly over exaggerate being able to/not able to push or pull my limbs to say there was a weakness on one side. This was not the case, and to prove this I didn’t tense any muscles on the odd occasion, however he would still over exaggerate being able to push or pull. I believe this was an attempt to make me believe I had further problems than I actually do. I paid £89 for this appointment and was extremely disappointed in the attempt to fake issues which aren’t really there. Vulnerable people could be taken advantage of.

Zwróciłam mu uwagę, to rzekł że musi mieć czas na następnego pacjenta, ale tak naprawdę to ja byłam jego ostatnim, bo wyszedł chwilę po mnie. Dał me akta pani Liz z recepcji, u której złożyłam skargę iż mój masaż nie trwał pełnej 1h za którą zapłaciłam £40 po zniżce z voucher £10 off. Za tę cenę miałabym gdzie indziej kompletny 60min masaż bez konieczności przynoszenia własnych dwóch ręczników- o tym zostałam poinformowana SMSem 24h przed sesją, więc bez możliwości anulowania by nie został zabrany mi depozyt £25. Zero prywatności, duże okno a rolet brak, ludzie z domów z tyłu mogli mnie widzieć. Wyszłam bardziej obolała niż przyszłam- tak może być po masażu powiedział. Ledwo 3 min prawą stopę mi pomasował, a na tym najbardziej mi zależało i od tego powinien zacząć. Nie czułam się tam dobrze zaopiekowania, marzłam, musiałam się upomnieć o przykrycie stóp, gdy zajął się górną częścią ciała, a wcześniej nawet pleców mi nie przykrył, gdy masował nogi. To powinno być zrobione od razu bez mówienia, wiadomo że jak ktoś leży bez ruchu to szybciej marznie. Byłam już na wielu masażach, także w różnych krajach i jak na razie ten wypada najgorzej. Nie polecam. PS w trakcie masowania nóg co chwilę przerywał, miałam wrażenie jakby siedział telefonie.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Back in Action for massages since they opened in Penwortham and Gita is fantastic. I can really feel the difference if I don't see her for more than 4-5 weeks. Last year, on Gita's recommendation I started seeing the Chiropractor, Bhavik; I have several disk bulges in my cervical and lumbar spine, osteophytes throughout the whole spine as well as osteoarthritis and I can honestly say that he has changed my life!! I am really scared of the neck adjustments, despite having had them a good 6-7 times now but he's always so kind and patient and the difference to my mobility and range of motion after I see him is huge. Lovely people and effective treatments, I can't recommend enough

The doctors wanted to ply me with painkillers, but I wanted more so I went to Back in Action and I'm so glad that I did! I'm still a regular 7 years down the line, but I can swim, walk, cycle, and work in a very manual job! It was the best decision I ever made for my health!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant, I've seen Jozef several times now and will continue to go on a regular basis. I have sciatica and it comes and goes without any warning. I walked in to my appointment in absolute agony, one hr later I was able to stand up straight and go back to work. I have been several times since and will continue to go to keep my Back in Action

Negative experience: I arrived 5mins prior to my appointment time and after fifteen mins asked if there was a delay. I was told there was but how long that was ,nobody seemed to know ! .Subsequent conversation led to the fact that the client who went in 5mins after I arrived was seeing the same consultant and I deduced that is a delay of between 45 - 60 mins. I couldn't t wait this long due to other commitments and subsequently left with a £5 voucher and an apology.I have no complaints about the treatment but any regular customer will know that sometimes deposits are required by the practice and that you get several texts reminding you of your appointment time . A 5 - 10 min delay would be normal but 45 - 60 min could and did in my case impact on my schedule ,so I think it should be a two way street and a simple text could be sent if the delay was substantial with an apology and offer of an alternative appointment if required to save a wasted journey.

Fantastic experience: I have had problems with my back/shouder/spine, on and off, since being involved in a RTA about 20 years ago. I had seen other chiropractors in the past but have been treated by Louis for approx 5 years now, having regular check-ups. The difference in his approach, and his thoroughness in explaining everything is huge, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him(or the practice) to anybody suffering similar ailments. Used to think that the sole purpose of a chiropractor was to manipulate the spine, but I have learned that various techniques can improve brain function and the nervous system. Overall, feel in better health and increased energy levels with the help of Louis. Very impressive and professional service.

Fantastic experience: “First class” The most positive things about my chiropractic experience at Back-in-Action were the, “Full explanations in layman’s language, feeling better and following a simple on going exercise plan.” Before I started care at Back-in-Action, “For days I could not go to bed, could not walk, sit or stand without pain, I felt very depressed. Fantastic experience: I've been using this practice for at least 4 years now and see Dr Louis. I go for regular check ups following a major problem with my spine 14 years ago - after going down normal medical routes the only people to fix my problem was a chiropractor. Louis does a thorough check each time to locate the problem areas and then adjusts them. Gives great exercises for me to self help the muscles. When slipping a disc last year even my GP said go to a chiro - Louis fixed it in 2 visits. You can also book in for a worth while massage at this clinic too. Always warm, friendly and caring approach at the clinic.
