Fantastic experience: Because of my job, I sometimes get back and hip problems and I used to put up with it, thinking it was wear and tear and just getting older. However, within hours of visiting Releaf I could walk better and wasn't waking up with pain during the night. For this visit I saw Ellie and she was brilliant, immediately putting me at ease and was very friendly and professional. She went through a complete health check, how I was moving, what the problems were and ended with a brilliant massage which has eased the pain hugely and also gave me a few simple exercises in order to warm my muscles and make getting out of bed easier - which have massively helped! My only slight problem was the AI telephone 'receptionist'! Essentially, it was 'computer says no' but Ellie sorted it out immediately so all good! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I initially came to Releaf with a soleus tendinopathy in my calf- I'd been struggling with the injury for 8 months and hadn't been able to run in that time, despite following a few different rehab programmes. Brian quickly identified which aspects were missing from my rehab plan, and also highlighted other weaknesses that were also contributing to the issue. Within 8 weeks of my first session, I went from struggling to walk for more than 20 minutes without any pain, to running 3-4 times a week. I am genuinely amazed by the progress I've made, as I really thought it would be many more months before I even attempted running again. The clinic at Gosforth has outstanding kit as well to help with your rehab- anti gravity treadmills, force plate technology, really elite level services available to recreational runners/sportspeople. If you're an injured runner I can't recommend Releaf highly enough!

This informed an accurate diagnosis and a tailored exercise and stretching programme initially demonstrated in the on site gym and then delivered by app or PDF for home use. Full discussion of rate of recovery expectation and support if concerned or worsening issues. Follow up arranged as deemed necessary. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking a client of Releaf physio to their gym on a weekly basis after the team have been working with him at home previously. The gym is amazing and the client who is an 86 year old man with multiple conditions finds going to the gym good for improving his physical strength but also helping his mental health with a new environment and means of doing different types of exercises on the equipment. The gym is clean and tidy and the Releaf physios always work with him to the best of his ability - enough challenge without overdoing it or risking injury.

Fantastic experience: Really great professional service - over the 9 months I have been working with Brian I have made great progress and he has given me the tools/exercises to carry this on. Brian is friendly, knowledgeable and understanding of the clients needs. He's also excellent at time management so the sessions always start/finish on time!

After 6 sessions I am feeling so much better and stronger and have the knowledge to prevent recurrence.

Fantastic experience: Following a torn calf muscle I made an appointment at Realeaf physio. I also have a neurological problem in my other leg which I’ve had for 6 years and was really the main reason causing all the problems I’ve experienced in the other leg! Briian (physio) assessed my walking and give me a program of exercises to do to increase my strength and movement in that leg. Within weeks I could see a massive improvement in my mobility, pain and strength. I never thought I could run again but thanks to the help and support from the physio and Jack sports massage therapist I’m now running 5k regularly. I can not recommend Relafphysio enough. I’m walking and running better than I’ve done in years.

Fantastic experience: Really good service from John Grey at Northern Rugby Club. Over 10 sessions John evaluated my neck pain, developed an exercise and modified it to reflect my feedback leaving me in a much better state and with a clear plan of action. Fully recommend John, he did a great job.

Fantastic experience: Second time visiting Brian, the first was 3 years ago where his advice helped rid me of a tendon issue I’d been struggling with for over than a year. I’m sure his latest advice in relation to a new tendon pain issue will result in the same outcome. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Booked me in quickly, quick and descriptive diagnosis and follow up with rehab programme that’s very helpful on the App. Brian is super knowledgable and friendly and puts you at ease for the first meeting. 10 sessions in my issue is improving dramatically with a programme of rehab that has changed constantly to keep me focused. What I like most is his focus on long term benefit and actually managing the issue. I would recommend highly and will use Brian and Releaf moving forwards without doubt.

Fantastic experience: Firstly I was recommended Releaf Physio and in particular Briain Lillis by a family member, I would certainly pass on that recommendation without hesitation. I have had a number of sessions with Briain due to a back injury sustained while playing golf. After an initial assessment Briain worked through the painful areas as well as giving me a personal plan to follow between session, I just had my 5th session today. My back has never felt better, pain has gone and now have much better flexibility. The clinic is easy to get to, basically 10 minutes drive from Cramlington and has ample parking facilities. I have tried various physios over the years but this beats them all and he also has some good crack to help through the session. Give him a try, you won’t be disappointed. Alan H

Attended for a series of eleven sessions with Briain over a period of four months for an irritable/recurrent back injury, the difference in which was night and day by the end of the programme. Briain is knowledgable and professional - knows when to listen attentively and reassure, and when to push and progress. The purpose-built rehab gym and facilities at their new facility (McCracken Park) are excellent. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My name is Margaret. I had great treatment for a back problem with Briain Lillis. I had deep tissue massage which gave me great relief. I was also given a series of exercises to follow. Briain was very courteous. He was knowledgable about all aspects of my health and the meds I was taking. Could not recommend him more highly. I saw him previously a long time ago for a different back problem. I followed his advice then and the pain was relieved for a long time, 18 months in fact.

Fantastic experience: My first appointment was good, a thorough background check on my issue followed by an assessment and time in the gym with Demos of several exercises to complete at home . I liked that the website had clear prices which lots do not . Follow up made for 3 weeks which I think is a good amount of time .

Fantastic experience: What a place releaf have built in Gosforth, Brian is obviously the expert (used him for years on various injuries) and the new set up for rehab is truly amazing, Well done to Brian and his team.

Fantastic experience: I've tried countless physios over the years to address my back pain and my weightlifting related pains and aches. In 2019 I found these guys and never looked back. My back pain is gone despite regular heavy squatting and deadlifting, and all other issues I've had since they've sorted out and kept me able to do the sports I enjoy. Can't recommend them enough, absolute best in Newcastle area.

Brian and his team are extremely dedicated to their practice and the new clinic and what it offers is a clear reflection of that.
