Fantastic experience: After several years of back, shoulder and neck pain and then more recently sciatic pain, during a conversation with a friend (a retired GP), she suggested I try chiropractic treatment with Jonathan, as her daughter was a client and spoke very highly of him. The initial consultation was thorough and several issues with my spine and pelvis came to light. I have had 6 weeks of treatment so far and I am now pain free and moving much more freely. I am so thankful that I had that conversation with my friend! Jonathan is very professional and also very approachable. A shout out to Chloe the practice receptionist for her friendly manner, which makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. If you’re looking for a chiropractor, then I would highly recommend Jonathan!

Fantastic experience: I found this clinic online, due to the discomfort that I've been receiving and suffering in my back,neck and occasionally sciatica had an appointment today staff are welcoming and service received was outstanding which released most of the tension I'm suffering and looking forward to the further treatment I'll be receiving. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Jonathan for about 6 weeks now following recommendation by a family member. I was suffering badly with a pain from a trapped nerve. MRI showed multiple discs involved. I was on very strong pain relief which affected my day to day living. Following expert care and advice from Jonathan I am now pain free and functioning normally. Amazing progress in a short space of time. I would highly recommend Jonathan for his care and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: I have been under the care of Dr Johnathan for the last few months and cannot thank him enough for the help and support he has provided. I contacted him in sheer desperation as i could not walk due to a ongoing severe sciatica. I really could see no hope but Dr Johnathan arranged for me to attend the surgery for a consultation and he gave me hope with a care plan which was specifically designed to treat my injury. The plan was explained in great detail but was very reassuring. Treatment was started and i quickly began to improve, so much so that i was walking again within two weeks. I was also panicked as how i would afford the treatment but was pleased that you are allowed to pay in block bookings which helped immensely. Fantastic experience: Jonathan was recommended by a friend when I was suffering from Sciatica. My initial diagnostic appointment was extremely thorough and I booked a 12 session bundle. I felt immediate benefit from my sessions. From barely being able to sleep I was soon slooping through again until, after 7 visits, the Sciatica cleared up. I was then able to "bank" the remaining 5 sessions and will use them as and when the need arises. I therefore have no hesitation at all in wholeheartedly recommending Vitality Chiropractic. Fantastic experience: I was told in 2009 that I would need further spinal surgery after 18-24 months yet Jonathan is preventing me from this 16 years of treatment.My friend who had spinal surgery at the same time as mine is now waiting for her 5th spinal surgery as she won't come to see Jonathan. You are not a back problem to him as at each visit he asks how the whole you is which is really nice. The treatments are always done gently and make a huge difference to any pain you have. I have recommended quite a few people to go to see him. Receptionist is always very friendly and helpful. Well done everyone xx

Fantastic experience: Miracle worker / Brilliant service - I ruptured my QL back muscle which caused severe lower back pain (I had to use morphine/codeine phosphate to manage pain). After 1-2 weeks of treatment- pain medication reduced to ibuprofen. After 8 weeks of treatment pain in lower back hardly noticeable and back to 99% of former self. I can move and complete daily activities without lower back pain stopping it. Great advice from Jonathan regarding my back and how to go forward. It is now noticeable better and feels more realigned after years of gym misuse. Posture has improved and I am able to continue to work without any pain. Chloe at reception is great. I will be using vitality for ongoing back maintenance. Amazed he got me back to full fitness in such a short time.

He has treated me for all of these issues and I now don't have the pain and discomfort for any of these as I previously had before. Monthly adjustments keep all of these correct. Fantastic experience: Best Chiro in the North East. Best I’ve been full stop. Felt really well looked after. No nonsense approach. Sensitive and incredibly knowledgable. Doesn’t keep you on a plan unnecessarily. Bottom line - never felt better after back and balance issues. Now attend for a monthly reset. Also sleeping better. Can’t fault Jonny or Vitality.

Negative experience: Beware!!! I had a severe back pain from 3 months and I contacted this place if they can help me. We did a block booking of £240 for 6 sessions as I was in pain and wanted to get better. After 2 sessions my back got even worse and that much sore that I couldn’t move at all. The sessions were totally useless, with 90% time spent on massage chair and rest 10% rushed and rough. We requested a refund for the rest 4 sessions and the receptionist kept on lying to us for so many weeks. We tried to call so many times and they didn’t even bother to contact us. Then Jonathan called my husband and started swearing at him for calling him for refund and blamed my husband of harassment. Never go to this place please as this is absolutely waste of money and time.

Fantastic experience: Saw yesterday for an emergency appointment after the dogs pulled my back/neck out walking them and I was in agony. The lady on reception was so lovely and managed to get me in that same day. Dr Jonathan O'Malley got straight to it and my back/ neck feels SO much better today. Pain has went from a 8 to a 1/2. So grateful!

Fantastic experience: Been attending for quite a while now and has very much helped with my back and neck problems. Always get a friendly and helpful welcome and Jonathan is direct, positive and professional. No problem in recommending them highly. Appointments after initial consultation are quick and efficient. I think people need regular and quick adjustments rather than long drawn out appointments. I think this is what some of the negative reviews on Google are perhaps failing to understand. Highly recommend by me that’s for sure.

After suffering from a herniated disc and several failed attempts of any sort of treatment - Dr. Jonathan O Malley has not only pin pointed the issue but over the course of just two treatments has transformed severe pain (unable to get out of a chair) to walking and running. Negative experience: I've suffered from upper back pain for over 10 years and have gone to multiple chiropractors who have been excellent at helping me manage a chronic condition. Was very disappointed with the treatment here. I was put in a massage chair to wait for the practitioner to be ready for me, sometimes waiting in excess of 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment. There is very little consultation, and as I told the practitioner about specific areas of pain and advised what previous chiropractors have done that helped, this was completely disregarded. He performed the same adjustments week after week - and I went in with different areas in pain and left feeling just as stiff and uncomfortable in my neck, shoulders and upper back. At the end of the session, I raised this as an issue and was just told to book again next week without any attempt to help me. Will not be returning and don't recommend.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Vitality for years. I get back and neck pain which turns into jaw tension and migraines, which stems from my my photography work and sitting editing at the computer for many hours a day, my husband has always suffered back pain too. Jonny is like a miracle worker. Sometimes I may not go for a while and the pain comes back and it can be really bad, and always after a couple of sessions the relief is just incredible. I also went to see him with severe hip pain while pregnant, I saw him every week and its the only thing that stopped me from crying every day. He is excellent and his massage chairs are fantastic too. He really is a life saver. If I could give him more stars I would.

Negative experience: Very unimpressed, booked half hour appointment for £50 and received 3mins on the bed, really didn't feel confident. I've been to a chiropractor approx 10years ago and had a much better experience, I felt very let down and certainly won't be going back to soon. What a shame

Negative experience: I used to go here for treatment, due to the fact it was cheaper than most places. However stopped after a few visits when I was in, adjusted and out within 6 minutes. My partner was in the car and couldn't believe how quick it was. Muscles are supposed to be warmed and moved prior to adjustment...not possible in a 6 minute visit.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I contacted Vitality Chiropractic the service has been friendly, informative and professional. Carrie on reception is lovely, she welcomes you with a smile and always has a little chat. Jonathan is very welcoming and talks confidently about his ability and profession, which puts you at ease. I was a little cautious about seeing a chiropractor, however I had two recommendations to see Jonathan (one from a friend and one from my gym trainer) and he not only put my mind at rest, but exceeded my expectations of what was possible with my back problem (as a bonus the treatment has also helped a nerve problem I had in my neck/shoulder) The difference after only a few months is amazing. I only wish I’d gone sooner. My level of pain has massively decreased whilst my mobility and flexibility has increased. Whilst the service may seem expensive initially, can you really put a price on your health and happiness. As a few others have mentioned the appointments don’t take a long time, perfect for fitting into busy schedules. And the new massage chairs prior to the session are a great addition. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend vitality Chiropractic to anyone. The service is second to none and the results speak for themselves.

Negative experience: Hannah and Jonathan are lovely people and I definitely did feel some benefit from my appointments. However appointments last 5 minutes at most, feels rushed and robotic - definitely agree with previous reviewers who stated there was no patient-specific treatment beyond the first consultation. The prices are extortionate for the service you receive. Also opening times are pretty restrictive so if you are in full time work you may struggle to book regular appointments

Negative experience: My first experience was terrible in how I was spoken to by both the receptionist and subsequently by the Chiropractor and I left literally in tears. Unprofessional, unsympathetic and uncaring on all levels....I will never return or recommend Vitality.

Negative experience: To keep it brief I had a few sessions here over a period of time, the service was rushed, generalised and not patient specific. Waste of money, in and out of sessions in under 4 minutes frequently.
