Fantastic experience: I first saw Fatma a few weeks before the Great North Run after picking up an injury during training. I was worried that many physios would simply tell me to stop running, but Fatma took a much more pragmatic approach. She accurately diagnosed the issue, put my mind at ease and developed a sensible plan to help me manage the injury and get to the start line. I really appreciated her knowledge, reassurance and practical advice at a time when I was worried about whether I’d be able to run. I’d highly recommend Fatma to anyone needing a physio, particularly runners, and will definitely use her again in the future.

I came in with ongoing pain and stiffness in my neck and arm, and from the very first session she took the time to understand the problem and explain the treatment plan clearly. The treatment was professional, effective, and tailored to my needs. Over the course of my sessions, my pain reduced significantly, my mobility improved, and I'm now able to get back to my normal daily activities without discomfort. She was highly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared about my recovery. If you're looking for a physiotherapist who delivers excellent results, I would highly recommend Taylor.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Newcastle Physiotherapy on and off since my early teens whenever I’ve picked up an injury, and it’s always been my first port of call for solid advice. Recently I developed a foot tendon injury just a week before I was due to run the Rome Marathon. I live in London now, but Newcastle Physiotherapy was still the first place I contacted. Chris, the practice manager, was incredibly helpful in fitting me in for a last-minute telephone appointment with Dan. Dan is a runner himself, which made a huge difference - he really understands running injuries and the mindset in the lead-up to a race you have spent months training for. While the safest option probably would have been to pull out, I was very reluctant to do that, and Dan talked me through a realistic strategy to give my foot the best possible chance of getting through the 42km, without causing further damage. The marathon ended up being a great success, and I honestly don’t think I would have made it over the finish line without Dan's advice and experience. I’d thoroughly recommend. Fantastic experience: I have used several methods and many services to remove my built up earwax over the decades I've worn hearing aids but this was the most thorough, effective and professional. Yes, it costs a little more than certain high street chains but worth every penny.

He has been amazing from the start, always explains things and seems to really care. Ive already come a reasonable distance from my first appointment and I plan on continuing for a while. Well worth the money!!

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Rachel enough for giving me my hearing back after more than a month of blocked ears. Music is my passion, and with an important gig coming up, I was honestly starting to panic about having to cancel. I’d put off getting my ears cleaned because I’m really nervous about anything going near my ears, but Rachel was incredibly patient, gentle, and compassionate. Now my hearing is clear as a bell. Fantastic experience: Can't be beat! Been coming for years now and it's worth it to keep on top of my back injury. Come across them during lockdown when I did a zoom running fitness programme with them and I said one of the movements hurt. Even from a Zoom, Dan could tell something wasn't right. I knew then that he knew his stuff and could trust Newcastle Physiotherapy, after visiting other people and buying all sorts of rubbish off the Internet to 'fix myself'. His knowledge and treatment is second to none, is there for an emergency fix or long term maintenance, and will do everything possible to make sure you can get back to doing the things you enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend to anyone in need of physio. Very professional service. Was able to get my issue diagnosed within one session. I was then provided a vast amount of incredibly useful stretches and strengthening exercises. Would throughly test progress at each appointment and adapt programme to match this. The therapist who has been helping me is called Iwona Trzecinska and again would highly recommend! However I am sure all the therapists would be of a huge help and provide a fantastic service.

Negative experience: Got some physio from a very friendly Irish physio for a few weeks for my back. I was diagnosed with a bulge/herniated disc. Did the exercises religious but made no difference at all, after many many months I decided to get an MRI and it turns out I have Piriformis syndrome which is commonly mistaken for a bulged disc, but explains why the exercises didn't help at the time. Just messaging to help people get sorted in the future with Piriformis Syndrome as apparently quite rare.

Fantastic experience: Came in with a lot of issues with my quads and calves that were preventing me from training MMA, Steven gave me stretches and within 2 weeks the pain is completely gone. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Fantastic experience: I saw Fatma Elmahdi at Newcastle Physiotherapy for knee issues which have plagued me for most of my adult life and interfered with sport that I wanted to do and can safely say that Fatma and her approach, knowledge, expertise, support and encouragment have transformed my life! Having suffered from patellofemoral pain since late teens I have seen various phyios over the years in a number of countries. I thought I was doomed to a life of knee pain flare ups and less and less running as I aged but Fatma showed me that this was certainly not the case! I am honestly amazed at the 10km pain free runs I can do now, thanks to Fatma, and look forward to increasing both my strength and distance. Fatma's approach was holistic, educational and supportive and her hands on work was second to none. She spent time making sure that the tight muscles in my quads were released and fully relaxed which alleviated knee pain. With her background in both kinesiology and physiotherapy she is an expert clinician with a unique insight into movement and is the only physiotherapist who has been able to fully support my progression to single leg squats which is something I thought I would neverbe able to do! Fatma's expertise, patience and support enabled this and I'll be eternally grateful to her for this. Enlightened physio like this is truly life changing! Fatma also sends on video links of how to do the exercises prescribed which was very helpful. All staff that I met at this practice were friendly, helpful and supportive and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Newcastle Physiotherapy and Fatma Elmahdi in particular. She is a truly gifted practitioner.

Fantastic experience: Was training for the London Marathon 2024 and started suffering with my left hip area and groin area, i was recommended to see Ann-Marie at Newcastle Physiotherapy. After 5 mins chat with Ann-Marie explaining my issues she carried out a thorough check and explained what my problems were and how we we going to address them. After she worked her magic on me i was given exercies to do before my next visit which was backed up with an email incase i forgot how to do them. After a few weeks back and forth i could feel the benifits of Ann-Maries hard work with me and i had my last visit the week before London Marathon. Thanks to Ann-Marie i maganed to complete the Marathon without any problems with my hip or groin areas. I cannot recommed Ann-Marie enough and really knows her profession and is very professional. Fantastic experience: Steven or Stephen does a fantastic sports massage at such reasonable rates that I will book an hour next next time as he works wonders with the human anatomy so much so I felt a freedom within my painful back almost immediately after a half hour session As arny wud say I'll be back ;))
