Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Richard strongly enough to be honest ! I’ve had a long history with my back including many years with a previous Osteopath, several procedures and finally surgery in 2018 . Having recently moved to the area I was somewhat hesitant about trying another Osteopath and not long after surgery , but those fears were immediately forgotten. Richard is clearly an expert in his field very engaging and targeted treatment to me as an individual, sets exercises to take away that are specific to me and strengthening where it’s required. A great find total confidence in Richard you’ll be in safe hands and indeed the whole team are fantastic!.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Rich now for a few years. I was having a lot of back/neck pain which came with frequent headaches. Rich has done a great job of rectifying a lot of unlined issues and has now got me to a stage where I only need a couple of maintenance visits per year. My headaches have also improved from being almost every other day to maybe getting 1 or 2 between sessions, which is a huge improvement. On top of this, he is an all round Nice guy!

Fantastic experience: I not sure why I put up with the pain that I was experiencing for so long before taking the recommendation to go and see Richard. The hip and lower back pain was reduced by 90% on the first appointment and subsequently eliminated after that. I highly recommend Richard.

Fantastic experience: ve been seeing Richard Medlock for about a year for various joint complaints that seem to appear with alarming regularity. He’s consistently managed to fix whatever I’ve broken, usually while making it clear that I should probably stop doing whatever caused it, (but thats never going to happen). He’s extremely knowledgeable, professional, and somehow makes appointments enjoyable despite the fact I’m usually in pain and hating my life choices. Would absolutely recommend (unfortunately for my joints, I’ll be back).

Fantastic experience: Richard has helped heal and treat my sciatica pain from a state where I struggled to walk to now being able to frequently run and play sports again. Whilst also identifying and targeting areas of weakness and instability to prevent a reoccurrence to the extent that I no longer fear another flare up when trying a new activity.

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with sciatica 10 months ago and have been on painkillers since then. There had been very little improvement and it was suggested that I should see an Osteopath. Based on available reviews I contacted Taunton Osteopath Centre. I was booked in with Richard Medlock.I have had twice weekly appointments with him for a month and am pleased to say the sciatica has improved greatly and I am moving much more easily. The pain has also improved and I have been able to reduce pain relief. I will now be going once a week.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Richard Medlock over a period of three or four years because of problems with my back, hips and knee. He has always been friendly, very professional and good at explaining what the problems are, what he can do about them and what exercise I should be doing. We also have interesting discussions about books! I have no hesitation at all in recommending him and all the reception ladies in the practice who are always friendly and efficient.

Fantastic experience: I suffer from a chronic neurological disorder which causes my muscles to tense up and massive headaches and increased mobility issues. I regularly see Alex, the Chiropractor and Suresh and Roni, two of the sports masseurs. I know how effective they are, because if I skip a visit I really notice an increase in problems. My husband had terrible sciatic pain last year and Alex really sorted him out. All the staff are great to deal with. Over the years I have visited several other practices and this is the best, both in terms of individual practitioners and how what they offer works together.

Fantastic experience: A year ago I hurt my back, I was suffering with my back locking up, pins & needles in my legs and feet and waking up every morning with numb feet/legs. After months of going to many appointments with the hospital I was told there was nothing that could be done apart from pain management! At this point I wasn’t working and was having to use crutches. I went to see Alex at Taunton Chiropractor, it started every week and we have managed to get it to every 5 weeks now. A year later and I am back working, enjoying walking my dog in the hills, camping doing all the things I didn’t think I could do again. The staff are all lovely & friendly.
