Fantastic experience: Ocean City Chiropractic is fantastic. The staff are so helpful and very friendly. Dane is absolutely amazing. I came to Plymouth for university and was transferred from my chiropractors in Bristol to Dane at Ocean City so that I could continue my treatment/care whilst down in Plymouth. I have noticed some changes and improvements in myself since going to see Dane and I would 1000% recommend Ocean City Chiropractic. Guaranteed they would be able to help you out.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic all round experience with Ocean City. Dane and the team were unbelievable over the 6 months or so of treatment, which enabled me to work pain free in my time in Plymouth. I had been suffering terrible sciatic pain for a number of years and was close to having to quit my job because of it. However, Dane done his best and come up with a treatment plan involving staggered adjustments over the piece. I went from taking 4-5 painkillers per day to just 1-2 and a lot of the time 0. Highly recommend. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: I went in to see Dane because I was having issues with lower back pain. Dane was very thorough with my first examination and explained that he would definitely be able.to help with my issues. I have only been seeing him a month or so but have already noticed great improvements with my pain levels and movements. Dane and his team run a very friendly and caring practise and I find myself very fortunate to have found them.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to ocean city chiropractic for around a year now after hitting crisis point with neck and back pain. Dane and the team were (and still are) really friendly and after a thorough assessment we created a treatment plan. I felt improvement almost immediately and now live a pain free life. Fantastic experience: I’d been struggling with neck and shoulder issues on and off for several years, and nothing ever seemed to fix it long term. It was starting to affect my posture and even simple day to day activities. I also had other symptoms, like chest pains, which I didn’t think were related at the time. After completing a course of treatment here, the results have honestly been amazing. Not only has my neck and shoulder improved, but the chest pains have completely stopped, my posture is much better, and I can now get on with everyday life without the same discomfort or limitations. It really exceeded my expectations. I’ve since recommended them to family members and they’ve all had great results too. Fantastic experience: After having difficulty’s with stiffness in my hips and leg pains for nearly 12 months, and having physio treatments from the NHS which were not resolving the issues, I decided to look for alternative ways to help find a solution and came across Dane at the Ocean City Chiropractics. After a thorough discussion about my issues and my thoughts of where I wanted to be in the near future Dane planned a series of of on going treatments over a 6 week period, although I have only completed 5 weeks already I have already experienced a significant improvement, this is way beyond my expectations and would like to recommend Dane at Ocean City chiropractic to any one who is suffering back , hip or movement issues.

Fantastic experience: When my son was around five-weeks-old, we noticed he was struggling with infant dyschezia, an umbilical hernia, and was showing signs of silent reflux. He was very uncomfortable when feeding - coughing and choking on his milk from poor latch, and not taking full feeds. His sleep was also often disturbed with gas pains and the only thing which would settle him would be another feed - which would then cause more discomfort. We were in a vicious cycle and desperate to help him. I’d read that babies often have tension in their body post-birth so started exploring chiropractic treatment for babies. I was thrilled to fine Dane, and the positive reviews from other parents made me feel reassured he might be able to help. After a course of six weeks nearly all of my son’s symptoms have gone/have drastically improved. He is far more comfortable, feeding well and sleeping for longer stretches. His ability to tolerate tummy time and turn his head with ease and control is like night and day since our initial consultation. Dane’s approach to babies is so gentle - my son has enjoyed every session, smiling away as Dane gave him treatment. Can whole heartedly recommend Ocean City Chiropractic if you’re wanting to help your baby feel more comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I have been really struggling with my back since having a knee replacement in July. I had 3 months of sleepless nights & taking pain medication prescribed by the doctor, which were helping the pain but not fixing the actual problem. It was really starting to effect my mental wellbeing being. A friend suggested I try a Chiropractor and found Ocean City & Dane. I read the reviews & thought I'd give it a go. I have also been taking medication to help me sleep suggested by Dane, which have helped. My first appointment was an assessment to find out what the problems were with my back. Following this I have seen Dane twice a week for alignment issues. Still can't get used to the cricking & cracking with the manoeuvres that Dane does but they really help. For the first time today, I can honestly say I am not in pain! This is a massive thing that effects your site of pain but my general overall feeling of being well. Having seen various chiropractors across North America, I can confidently say that my experience with Dean here in the UK has been outstanding. His assessment was by far the most thorough I’ve ever had — from the detailed history and health questions to truly listening to my concerns, goals, and needs. The physical examination was also comprehensive. I really appreciated that Dean not only assessed my posture but also took the time to evaluate my biomechanics and perform muscle testing. I especially value Dean’s approach to treatment planning. He works with you, taking into account your budget and realistic goals, and never makes you feel guilty for adjusting your treatment schedule (I’ve had practitioners in the past who were pushy or made me feel uncomfortable about that, so this was a refreshing change). Fantastic experience: I had been struggling for years with back pain and shooting pains down my hips. After being dismissed by doctors and being told to manage with stretches, which weren't really helping, I decided to try something different. As someone who hates the noise of joints cracking and is not particularly happy about close human contact with strangers, going to the chiropractor was quite low on my list of options, but Dane has made me feel so comfortable and explained everything incredibly well. After several months of adjustments and some minor changes to posture and habits, I am now finally pain-free. Special mention has to be about Lauren, who is always so lovely and patient and never fails to receive you with a smile, making you feel instantly welcome.

Fantastic experience: I visited 10 weeks ago and I was in terrible pain in my ribs which had been causing me issues for almost a year. Dane was amazing and friendly and professional. In the 10 weeks I've been having chiropractor appointments my pain has decreased significantly and I feel much more mobile than before and my pain episodes are fewer and further between. Fantastic experience: Before I started seeing Dane 2 years ago I had suffered with lower back problems for many years. This was sometimes completely debilitating, and in the month leading up to my first session I had not been able to stand up straight. Fantastic experience: I first visited in February not quite knowing what to expect or if chiropractor treatment would be the right option for my various aches and pains. After a thorough consultation with Dane I felt completely at ease and knew that it would be the right path. Since then I have had twice weekly adjustments, then weekly adjustments which have improved my posture and movement and greatly reduced all aches and pains to virtually none. Fantastic experience: I came to this Chiropractic struggling to sleep and with intense shoulder and back pain. Having tried talking to doctors and different types of pain relief, I booked an appointment skeptical of whether it would help. Everyone was so lovely and welcoming and after a few weeks, my sleep, posture and general life were improving massively. I cannot say enough good things about the care I got. I would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I initially started seeing Dane because of issues with sharp pain in my lower back that started suddenly and limited my range of motion. My first consultation was very thorough with going over the symptoms and also looking at my alignment and posture. The care plan that was set out for me was very informative and the daily habits really worked to remind me how to implement good habits to work alongside my plan. Over the last 3 months I’ve had no relapse in my symptoms and alongside the massage with Ellie my alignment has improved and I no longer experience any of my symptoms. This has worked really well for me alongside my training in the gym and overall especially with heavy lifting at work. I plan to maintain my progress over the months and would really recommend for any specific issues or just general health!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dane has changed my baby. We went in with a colic baby with reflux, constipation and tension in his neck and left with a happy baby, in our first visit Dane when through causes, effects and solutions for every single symptom out baby had, he gave us some exercises to do at home with our baby and he is improving everyday to the point that only in one week our baby is colic and reflux free! We all can sleep better at night. From not being able to laying flat, drinking a full bottle and having to have him sitting up for half an hour after every feed to feeding him and lay him flat with no issue, he is a happy baby and is finally enjoying his play gym! Will deffo recommend to any parent with colic baby or reflux, works better than gaviscon! And a very positive thing, is very affordable. We look forward to our next visit. Fantastic experience: I was looking for a chiropractor that took particular interest in chronic pain and this led me to find Dane at Ocean City Chiropractic. I have suffered with numbness and pain down the front of my leg, left hip pain and lower back pain for over a year. I was looking for a new way to manage my pain symptoms and wanted to improve my quality of life again. Dane was amazing from the start, his assessment was thorough and honest and we spoke about the various pains he would be able to help me with and gave realistic goals/expectations. Well, his adjustments exceeded my expectations, within a few weeks my leg pain and numbness was gone, the hip and the lower back pain was massively reduced. I was able to get back into running for the first time in over a year, reduce the amount of pain relief I was taking, using hot water bottles and TENS machine less frequently and overall feeling so much happier with body. My work life has also massively improved and its given me so much motivation and hope to carry on with my career path, its a very demanding job role I have and the physical pain was a barrier for a long time. Fantastic experience: After years of suffering with back pain but being resistant to getting it fixed, a friend persuaded me to see Dane. The pain in my back made simple tasks like putting my socks on in the morning difficult and painful. Dane gave me a thorough examination and identified the part of my back causing the problem. Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Ocean City Chiropractic, from the warm welcome and help Lauren gives you, to the literally life-changing adjustments from Dane. I’m an active person but I had reached a point where I just couldn’t move easily or without pain, from struggling to get out of bed and get dressed, to being massively uncomfortable all day working at my desk. I was struggling to walk, let alone exercise, and for me that was really quite depressing. It felt like life was on hold. Now I feel amazing! I started to feel much better very quickly, and my pain has improved each week. I’ve just had my 6 week review and the assessment showed how far I’ve come in a short time. I’m pretty much pain free, running again (faster than ever!) and I’ve had the all clear to start doing a little bit of weight training. Even my knee pain has gone! Fantastic experience: I started visiting Dane in August of last year after feeling that my health concerns were being overlooked by NHS professionals. I was dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, and difficulties with mobility and energy levels. Despite expressing to my doctors for years that I believed my medical issues were interconnected, I was consistently dismissed. As a trained massage therapist, I understand the health benefits of chiropractic care. After reviewing my personal and family medical history, Dane quickly identified a potential connection to either Ehlers-Danlos syndrome or Hypermobility syndrome, areas in which he is highly knowledgeable. He customized my treatments to meet my complex needs. Over the past five months, my posture has improved significantly, my pain has greatly reduced, and my sleep quality has never been better. About ten weeks into treatment, I experienced a medical episode involving a high heart rate, which Dane witnessed and suggested might be POTS, associated with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. He provided a letter for my ECG appointment, which resulted in a cardiology referral. Although it has been a frustrating journey with the doctors, I feel that they are finally conducting the necessary investigations to help confirm a diagnosis—something I wouldn’t have achieved without Dane’s assistance. I still have a long road ahead, but I’m confident that I’m moving in the right direction, and my body feels better than it has in a long time. Fantastic experience: I’d heard good things about Ocean City Chiropractic from a couple of my own patients. I work as a dental hygienist which is physically demanding and I also suffer from scoliosis so looking after my spine and posture is a must for me. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dane at Ocean City Chiropractic for a few months, and I must say that the care and support I’ve received have been excellent! For several years, I have suffered from sciatica, with each episode becoming progressively worse. The last episode left my leg completely numb due to nerve damage, rendering my foot near enough non-functional and making it difficult for me to complete daily activities, exercise, sleep and my mood was very low. Before visiting the chiropractor, I had seen various professionals who either offered little help or deemed my condition not severe enough to meet their threshold. My partner, who had been seeing Dane, suggested that I schedule an assessment. Initially, I was apprehensive; I had been told before that there was little that could be done for my nerve damage, and other professionals had not recommended chiropractic care. However, I thought it would be worth getting a second opinion. Dane conducted a very detailed assessment, highlighting several aspects that I had not been informed about previously. He explained spinal health in a clear and concise manner, and his empathetic approach made it positive to finally receive answers and a plan for moving forward. I am so glad I had that meeting! Since beginning chiropractic care, I can confidently say that I have regained most of the feeling in my leg. I am walking better, my mood is so much better, I am able to perform daily activities, and I am starting to exercise again, all without pain. I still have some progress to make, but with Dane's support, I feel confident that I will continue to improve. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this chiropractor clinic enough - 100% would recommend to anyone seeking relief from pain or general health and wellbeing. Dane was absolutely fantastic! Fantastic experience: I first visited Dane back in April after suffering with mid back and between shoulder blades pain. I had a back issue for years and always ignored it until pain was unbearable to the point I couldn’t do simple daily tasks anymore, work has been struggle and I have been desperate for help. After finding ocean city chiropractic on google I booked my initial consultation and posture scan with Dane where he explained why I was experiencing pain and what steps we need to take to improve it. I was extremely nervous at first but Dane is super friendly, kind, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. After being consistent with adjustments I can see a lot of improvement and I am no longer in pain. Also I can’t believe how my posture has changed for better and how much more energy I have. I am happier person in general and now I can see how miserable I was before because the pain I was experiencing. From time to time I still feel very little discomfort in my back but this doesn’t stop me from doing anything and there are still some small things to improve but I am positive with continuing adjustments and exercises Dane gave me to do at home I can achieve this. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dane for about a year now, it was the best decision I ever made! I had noticeable improvements from my first adjustment, and since doing my full course of adjustments I have had a much better quality of life. Fantastic experience: Being very sceptical about Chiropractic treatment, I was unsure at first how things in general would improve. However, a year after on I no longer use my asthma medication, my blood pressure has returned to normal and I generally feel better in myself. I recently had a gap without treatment and it was then I realised how much better I felt after having chiropractic treatment. As for the clinic it’s self, Dane has a wealth of knowledge and offers guidance in many areas. Jess and Lauren are happy and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. I also have a young child who has some behaviour challenges through no fault of his own and more recently we began chiropractic treatment for him and there is a noticeable change in how calm he is. Fantastic experience: When my little boy was born he was referred to ENT for suspected Laryngomalacia. When he was seen by the consultant, his Laryngomalacia got confirmed and we were told instantly that he needed to have surgery because he was 'failing to thrive' and not gaining enough weight despite showing no other severe symptoms to suggest surgery was necessary. I came away distraught at the thought my 3 month old baby had to undergo surgery and I had never been told by any other health professional (Midwives, GP, Health Visitors) that his weight was a concern. He was referred to a dietician after his appointment and I was told by the consultant he had to go on a high calorific milk to help him gain weight. During this process I had sought second opinions and done a lot of research and decided to decline the surgery for the momen. Since my little boy was newborn he suffered with consistent reflux which continued to get worse and caused him a huge amount of discomfort and distress. After speaking to the dietician she suspected a milk allergy over a high caloric milk, after putting him on this milk he shown an improvement in the fact he was a lot more comfortable and didn’t seem in as much discomfort but the amount he was being sick was still and issue. We thought this was just going to be our normal now until he grew out of the ‘reflux stage’ like everyone kept telling us he would but I just felt like I could do more to help him. I got in touch with Dane through a friends recommendation and I thought what do I have to lose I have tried everything else and this could be the turning point. We had a consultation with Dane who gave Cruz a full and thorough examination and said he thinks he can help us (he wasn’t wrong!) he had 4 weeks of seeing Dane twice a week for adjustments, after 4 weeks of appointments Cruz’ reflux is all but non existent and he is absolutely thriving, so much so we attempted the milk ladder challenge to reintroduce dairy and he successfully completed it and is no longer dairy free! He has gained a considerable amount of weight and has been signed off by his consultants and surgery was not needed. Dane is so knowledgeable and his time and care he puts in to his patients is invaluable. He is so thorough and really takes the time to explain everything so that you understand, at each appointment a plan for the next one is made so you not what is happening through every step. We will continue to see Dane every few months to check Cruz over but I honestly can’t thank him enough. He has changed our lives!
