Fantastic experience: Catherine was my physio and provided second to none care, support and advice after I negotiated a new norm following a bad tibial plateau fracture at the age of 60. If it hadn't been for Catherine's advice, I doubt I would've ever discovered I was osteosporotic and I don't think I would've recovered as well as I have. From the point of being too afraid to even rely on crutches, to finally walking confidently (without crutches) and getting back to yoga classes etc., Catherine gave me my confidence back, something I never thought would happen. I would wholehearted recommend this clinic to anyone that is struggling with movement and/or pain, you will receive first class care from the moment you are greeted by the lovely reception team to the moment you're signed off. In short, you won't receive better care anywhere.

Fantastic experience: Attended the Well woman clinic run by physiotherapist Stephanie who is a lovely empathetic practitioner who puts you at ease immediately. She is so knowledgeable and identified my issues providing an achievable regime which is truly helping me to feel normal again!!! Cannot recommend highly enough if you have any incontinence or pelvic pain issues … there is a long list she can help you with

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I attended the Faye Pedlar clinic to have a cortisol injection for my frozen shoulder with Dr Rich Rendle. I was very impressed with the service I received. He spent time explaining about the condition the injection and aftercare. It is clear he is a very experienced practitioner and I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Overdue review. But Karl and the team are superstars. I came virtually unable to walk (IT band syndrome in my left knee) and had 5 weeks before climbing Mt Fuji. Karl took me from no hope to breezing up and down the mountain. Not a chance I would have made it up without his help. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Suffered with back pain for 5 weeks before deciding to get an appointment with Ricky (specifically recommended by family). Wow! Should’ve have visited him sooner! Noted the pain was not as severe straight after but the following morning noted a 90% improvement. Have had one follow up appointment that has resulted in further improvement. Have to complement recovery with recommended stretching exercises but have no hesitation in recommending Ricky & Fay Pedler Physiotherapy. Thanks

Fantastic experience: I was suffering really bad muscle pain from working a physical job. I finally couldn’t take no more and thought I would try physio. Previous to this I went through my doctor to be sen by an NHS physio. Unfortunately they don’t do hands on treatment so was disappointed. After going to see Alice at fay pedler I felt like something had been lifted. Alice was absolutely amazing, she made me feel at ease, a warm personality and definitely knew what she was doing. The hands on treatment made a huge difference. Will definitely be booking in again if needed. Thank you Alice you are a star.

Fantastic experience: Haven’t been recommended to Faye peddler clinic I was allocated Harry. Harry was detailed in his diagnosis, discussing about my situation and access to rehabilitation equipment. Once he had a clear picture of my situation he gave good clear explanation of what I needed to do with rehabilitation exercises. i have struggled for 13 weeks with pain behind my knee, he diagnosed acute hamstring injury. After following his program for seven days after my initial consultation I have seen remarkable change. Although not pain-free I am definitely improving.

Fantastic experience: I'm very happy to recommend the Fay Pedler Clinic. It's easy to book an appointment online and the reception staff are very welcoming when you arrive. Catherine Faulconer was my physio and her advice was so practical. The exercises she set me, having checked I could do them properly, have worked and my knee is much stronger. I will continue to work on strength and resistance as advised and most important, I now understand so much more about the need to do so as we age. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Injured my shoulder in a car accident. Had a number of sessions with Nick and now I'm in a much better place and have much improved range and motion. As well as Nick being fantastic and sorting me out, I would just like to give a mention to the receptionists. They are all very friendly and welcoming, which put me at ease. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic treatment at the Fay Pedler Clinic. Came in with a shoulder issue, Ricky was brilliant, knew exactly what the problem was and set a course of treatment which has worked wonders. Great facility and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We needed to take our 4 year old daughter to see Ricky because the NHS told us there were no appointments available for her. It was imperative we saw someone due to our little girl walking with a bad limp 7 weeks after having her plaster removed because of a broken leg. It was crucial we saw someone who could not only see her immediately but would also be expert in the advice in they gave and diagnose her as to why she had this limp. First of all, the practice is set in a gorgeous leafy street in Mannamead, ample parking right outside. The reception team were very welcoming and we were seen within moments of arriving. Ricky was fantastic, so thorough with his examination and so mindful that he was explaining not only to us her parents but also to a little 4 year old. Our daughter was forthcoming with the exercises Ricky asked her to do and he gave us a brilliant run down of exactly what was going on with her leg. We were sent away with a clear understanding of what we needed to do, that providing we did what was needed we shouldn’t need to go back so no follow up appointment was needed at this stage. But Ricky was clear that should she not improve we just needed to make contact once more and that if it was within 3 months that we wouldn’t need to pay for the initial consultation fee again, that it would be wavered ! A follow up email was also sent to us with optional videos again reiterating what our little girl needed to do in order to ‘fingers crossed’ get back full mobility. Fay Pedler was recommended to us and I, in turn have to say that if you need a primary physiotherapist, who will give you first class help. Please don’t hesitate to come here!

When I first sustained my injury I felt quite low and anxious about the recovery process and the potential impact it would have on my life. However, from the moment I contacted them, the entire experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The staff, starting with the reception team, were all extremely welcoming and reassuring. They were efficient in handling my initial inquiries and appointments, and consistently made me feel like a valued patient. This level of care extended beyond reception to everyone I encountered. My physiotherapist, Karl, was absolutely fantastic. They instantly made me feel at ease with their friendly and professional manner. I truly felt heard and valued as an individual, and their clear expertise and driven approach towards injury resolution were immediately apparent. They took the time to thoroughly assess my injury, explain the treatment plan in a way I could easily understand, and consistently encouraged me throughout the sessions. Their dedication to getting me back to full health was truly inspiring. Thanks to Karl and the entire team at Fay Pedler, my recovery has been remarkable. I am now back to running and feel stronger and more confident than I did before my injury and feel ready to take on the London Marathon! I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Fay Pedler to anyone in need of physiotherapy. If I ever require their services again in the future, they will be my first and only choice. Fantastic experience: I injured my knee 2 months before the London Marathon but Ricky has completely turned it around and I am now back to running normally all ready for the big run!! I couldn’t have asked for more.

Fantastic experience: I’ve suffered with plantar fasciitis in both feet for around 12-13 years. I heard about shockwave therapy & found Fay Pedlar do the therapy. I booked in with Ricky & started SWT. The difference is unbelievable. I was hobbling before with the constant pain but now, having finished the 6 sessions, I’m pain free for the first time in a lot of years. I very highly recommend the Fay Pedlar clinic. From the staff on the front desk to seeing Ricky my physio, everyone was extremely helpful and very professional. Their phone number is now in my contacts incase I need them again.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this practice highly enough, I phoned the week before Xmas as I had been in extreme pain with tendonitis in my shoulder. I spoke with the amazing reception ladies Julie and Annie and the amazing Annie was able to fit me in within a couple of days; she was also really lovely on the phone when I got upset at the prospect of having to cancel a family holiday because I was in such agony. In my opinion businesses don’t deliver customer service like this anymore - but Fay Pedlar’s is the exception. Give them a call without hesitation! I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Saw Duncan today and he was brilliant. Have had an ongoing knee injury. Duncan checked it thoroughly and took away a lot of my worry. Noticed the way I was walking incorrectly due to it and explained how important it is to correct. Showing me how. Duncan even quickly gave great advice to someone who came with me due to their elbow pain they have been getting. Definitely recommend Duncan and Fay Peddler. Follow up: I saw Richard for an ultrasound and he found the problem that we were unsure was there. Took as much time as we needed and explained every detail. I couldn’t recommend anyone better than Richard for an ultrasound and for knowledge of that area being scanned. Great again. Receptionists have been extremely helpful also. Thank you.

Treatment received from Claire Hobson was fantastic, I had real problems with my shoulder, unable to pick things up, no strength, am back to full strength now. Fantastic experience: Our family have used Fay Pedlar Clinic for many years and have always found them to be very helpful, professional and excellent value for money. As soon as my Doctor mentioned Physiotherapy I immediately contacted Fay Pedlar Clinic and booked an appointment with Catherine. Catherine quickly diagnosed my problem and worked out a treatment plan, she also contacted my doctor and once after reviewing my notes she telephoned me to adjust my exercises. I really feel all the staff here "go the extra mile" and care about their patients. I recommend this clinic, and Catherine without reservation (and I have no doubt I will be using their services again).

Nick has been thorough in his approach to treatment, prompt with the diagnosis and has a friendly attitude. Fantastic experience: Booked myself in for some physio following an accident the previous year which hadn't quite healed properly. Catherine was very knowledgeable and thoughtful as she diagnosed what the issue was and gave me some simple exercises to do each day. The appointment was just a couple of days after I rang too, which was ideal as I had irritated my knee and wanted to know what to do as soon as possible.

Fantastic experience: Having used this practice off and on for many years I never cease to be amazed at the knowledge of the practitioners . Great people on reception as well. Four sessions of treatment after the NHS were “ baffled “ has vastly improved my condition. Did I say I would recommend them! Update as of Monday 24thJune. Four weeks past and only one small repeat of the muscle spasm I’ve had for years now. Following Ricky’s suggestion for some very simple exercises I am now “ discharged” and the muscle swelling is reducing. I would recommend this practice to anyone as being the most friendly and knowledgeable people I have used.

Fantastic experience: I Would thoroughly recommend all aspects of the Fay Pedler Clinic, from the receptionists who helps you pair up with the most appropriate physiotherapist to the actual physiotherapist staff. After two new hips and a damaged knee I am particularly grateful to Ricky who has enabled me to get back to three rounds of golf a week as though the injuries never happened. A really good understanding of the problems and an excellent rolling programme of exercises along with deep massage when required.

Fantastic experience: Over the years, I have relied on the team at Fay Pedler to sort my back whenever I’ve tweaked it, to put me back on a path to pain free movement. I’ve always found all of the staff here excellent. In the last month, I experienced problems with my knee which made walking almost impossible. Catherine was great over my three sessions - friendly, approachable and with good advice - to initially rehabilitate and then to provide exercises to prevent and support, going forward.

Fantastic experience: After hurting my knee whilst teaching fitness classes last week I knew I couldn't afford to wait for an NHS Referal. Although I was only visiting Plymouth for a week, I was able to book a Next Day Appointment at Fay Pedler Clinic. Upon arrival I was greeted at reception by the friendly and professional staff. My appointment was with Catherine who quickly and professionally started to assess my situation. Catherine quickly diagnosed no major damage to ligaments and meniscus which was a huge relief. Catherine then demonstrated how to strap my knee with Luko tape and gave me some strength and stretch exercises to do to help with my tight hips and Knee Alignment. I can't recommend Catherine and / or the Fay Pedler Clinic enough. Friendly, efficient and professional. Great company you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend to anyone considering physio! Very friendly and welcoming reception staff. I initially phoned up to ask for advice on which physio to book and whilst they told me all their physios are brilliant, they were still very helpful and able to point me in the right direction. I had three sessions with Harry for generalised back pain. Within these three sessions, Harry has given me a different outlook on back pain, some very valuable information and some techniques and exercises for home treatment. Whilst the pain has not completely gone, I definitely have the tools I need to tackle the problem effectively and genuinely believe the sessions have been worthwhile. Harry could have continued to charge me for sessions after this, but he was honest in telling me he had offered everything he could so he discharged me with homework to continue the exercises. Again, would seriously recommend to anyone needing a physio

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Bernice enough for the treatment she gave me. I had a trapped nerve in my neck that had been causing a considerable amount of pain. I had been doing exercises which my GP had recommended but it was only after Bernice gave me treatment that the pain started to diminish. Now after 2 sessions I am off of all of the painkillers that I was taking which were a cocktail of different medication.Bernice took the time to really listen to all my symptoms and I never felt rushed. Thank you Bernice and thank you to the friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I have used Fay Pedler Physiotherapy after getting injured. I saw Claire about a difficult and stubborn shoulder issue. She was very thorough and worked hard to find the solution to an unusual presentation, drawing on what was clearly a wealth of experience. The staff are always extremely helpful and more than happy to change appointments and work to find the best time and date possible. The practice has a very personal feel and I highly recommended them.

Went to see him for some rehabilitation after 2 strokes and he recognised early symptoms of parkinsons, he wrote to my doctor and I now have a diagnosis, which means that I can move forward with the right treatment. Fantastic experience: I was referred to the Fay Pedlar Clinic by my Occupational Health Department for a frozen shoulder. I went with incredibly low expectations as everything I understood was that I just had to wait for it to run its course and there wasn't much anyone could do to improve it. Claire however has worked miracles... it wasn't fun, I'll be honest... but the reduction in my day to day pain levels and the dramatic increase in my range was worth every buttock-clenching minute. Claire was also very easy to talk to with a great sense of humour which also helped! Couldn't recommend the clinic (the staff on reception are very friendly, efficient and helpful) or Claire enough. Fantastic experience: Following severed tendon in foot and operation I needed lots of physio. I was in a wheelchair and cast for some weeks. Rick got me walking again with a regime of exercises. I still attend the clinic for occasional physio on the foot and 2 years on from accident continue with Rick’s menu of exercise. I certainly would be worse off without physio, thanks Rick JS

Fantastic experience: I was receiving some treatment here for knee pain which was excellent , I then took my husband here for back pain which he found unbearable, they managed to fit us in very quickly as well, once ,the assessment was done the physio soon got to work and managed to find the cause of the pain , he done a deep massage which helped to release the tense muscles , my husband felt so much better after this, we then had weekly sessions after this with great results each time , we are so glad we opted to come here and get this sorted so much sooner , we also felt the price was very reasonable considering the amount of time that was spent on my husband ,it’s definitely money well spent , his physio was called Alex Jack it is also a nice clean friendly place with a lovely receptionist ,the only fault there is is that the desk is far too high and I had to stand at the side to pay as I am only 4foot 9 inches , thank you once again for such excellent service Mrs Marion Roch & Robert Roch
