Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Qasim since 2019 when he first helped me recover from a knee injury, and more recently he’s been treating my back injury as well. I can’t recommend him highly enough. What really stands out is how quickly and accurately he diagnoses the problem. Within minutes he seems to pinpoint exactly what’s going on and explains everything clearly. His knowledge and treatment have helped me recover and manage my injuries much better than I expected. Whats even better is he’s moved based out of Edgbaston that’s so much easier to get to instead of Digbeth.

While training in the UK, I visited this clinic twice a week and it made a world of difference. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, providing personalized care that helped me recover and optimize my performance. Fantastic experience: I recently had a combination of acupuncture and massage and it completely sorted out my back pain and issues. My hips and lower back have never felt this good for 10 years! Mashaallah very happy with the results. If it wasn't for this sciatica nerve causing pins and needles in my foot, I'd say I feel 100% The massage was precise and genuinely effective. Fantastic experience: A superb service, rectified a long term shoulder injury

Negative experience: Unprofessional. I did a block booking for 60 minute sports massages and was lucky if I got 30 minutes. Qasim asked me to come in earlier once and then he had another patient come in at the same time! So he left cups on my back whilst he started the other patients treatment next door and then came back to me. When I asked him, ‘did you double book, why did you ask me to come earlier if you’ve got another client’. He responded that it was a booking system fault and that the other client came in for acupuncture… Well it’s not a system fault because you told me to come earlier than my scheduled appointment which would have avoided this. He would also take phone calls multiple times during treatment. I felt completely ripped off and wasn’t fan of the delay tactics after I made payment for the block booking. I’d avoid at all costs. I was sceptical to leave this review because had he been more professional - he would actually be quite good. If ethics and values mean anything to you - don’t come here.

Fantastic experience: Qasim is exceptional. I suffered a severe shoulder problem from an old football injury and couldn’t exercise — I was frustrated and had tried everything. After only two sessions Qasim found the issue: he carefully manipulated and focused on my shoulder with his own style of physiotherapy, identified a hidden injury, got me x-rayed, then used deep tissue massage and manual therapy to reduce years of inflammation and swelling. My shoulder works again. I now go to the gym regularly and, through Qasim’s weight-training program, have rebuilt a strong, powerful shoulder. He’s unlike any physio I’ve had in the last ten years — truly the best. Be warned: some of his therapy isn’t for the faint-hearted, but it works.

Fantastic experience: The course led by Qas was hands on with a perfect blend of theory. I have already used the methods that I learnt and practised on the two days on various clients and it has yielded amazing success. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone who is looking to further their career in manually therapy. The inclusion of a guest speaker on the second day was an eye opener.

Fantastic experience: I came to Qasim with an ongoing ankle sprain issue that had been flaring up on and off for a couple of years. He quickly identified the areas that needed work and gave me simple, effective exercises I could do at home to build strength. As my ankle improved, he gradually increased the intensity of the exercises to target other movements like jumping and running. He also helped relieve the pain during our sessions using massage, acupuncture, and deep tissue work on my calves to ease the stiffness I had when I first came in. The whole process was straightforward and easy to follow. I'm now back to 100% and able to comfortably play the sports I enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Edit 17.4.2025: Due to a ClassPass problem my original reservation didn't show up in Optimum Physio reservation system and hence the office was closed and didn't get any service that day. However, Qasim fixed the situation and booked me another time to physiotherapy and I received a good tension relieving massage coupled with acupuncture that opened up my shoulder / back muscles and I feel a lot better now. Will definitely come again.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a full body reset which consisted of a sports massage dry cupping wet cupping also acupuncture I could feel the effects immediately I felt much lighter and much more mobile my calves have also grown over the night when I asked the physio Omar who performed the procedure he told me my muscles were tight and made an inhibits the amount of contraction I was able to make while stretching and exerting force I highly recommend you book in with Omar he talks you through the whole process as he goes along and lets you know what’s going on I’ll be sure to book in again with him if I have any mobile or sport injuries and will definitely go in for another wet cupping session in 3 to 5 months

Fantastic experience: I was going through alot of difficult in my knees and recently was unable to walk due the severe pain. But after visiting Optimum Physio my knee and shoulder ache has dropped down. My treatment is ongoing with Omar, he is one the most knowledgeable physio with whom you can contact if you’re having trouble regarding with any pain or ache in your body. Having a great experience at this physio and really hopefully that the sessions would give me the required results.
