Fantastic experience: Bravo. I am super impressed. I went to a dozen or so massage sessions. I had back pain, shoulder girdle pain and a little more. Massage combined with acupuncture. Relaxing eastern music, appropriate lighting are very conducive to relaxation and regeneration. The owner and main masseur knows his job, he knows what he is doing. And what is the essence, it works. I have not been to treatments for 4 months. So far, the pain has not returned. Thank you.

First he calmly listens to what is wrong with you, then he does a massage explaining everything in detail. Even if the visit lasts longer (always 20 min. longer for me) he never adds more to the bill. I recommend him with all my heart.

Fantastic experience: After waiting a year just to get a shoulder scan on the NHS, I was then told it would be a significant wait for NHS physio! I had been in a lot of pain for all this time and couldn't put up with it anymore. I contacted Clement and after two appointments I am almost pain free. The best money I have ever spent! Fantastic experience: I first went to Active Balance 2.5 years ago when I felt my mobility needed a bit of a boost but didn’t know why – it didn’t take long for Clement’s acupuncture skills to diagnose serious liver deterioration which pretty much immobilised me for 18 months. I have been seeing him once a week ever since which, I think, demonstrates absolute confidence in his knowledge and professionalism. Alongside NHS care, he has helped me come out the right side of my condition and is currently working on building my muscle strength, improving my posture and trying to get me walking and balancing correctly - I have also since developed and added mild osteoarthritis (shoulders, knuckles and knees) to his list and he is persevering with trying to lessen some liver-related nerve damage in my feet which is proving tricky considering I hate my feet being touched! Sessions are sometimes painful because he pushes hard but knows better than I do how much I can take and how flexible I can be! He always demonstrates exercises I can do in between visits to help myself that sync with my improving physical ability…his teaching of effective breathing techniques continue to serve me well and his recommendations for herbal supplements matches those of my hospital consultant. What I find most valuable at the moment is that his manipulation proves to me that my joints work so that, although I might be in pain or struggle to sense feeling, I am confident that I can do things. So, there is no stopping me now I have my life back…gardening…travelling…driving…and I am looking forward to continuing to improve…Thank you Clement!!!

Fantastic experience: I can’t believe my foot pain has gone within the hour I was with Clement for my treatment. It’s the first time I visited Clement & he was extremely professional & knowledgeable. It was also comfortable dealing with him and he was really quick on picking up on the actual issue around my foot. I’ve been to a physiotherapist before and they were not able to address my pain and I’ve suffered on and off for two years. I genuinely thought I would need a few rounds of physio however, Clement magically fixed my foot within the hour! I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Clement is very knowledgeable and highly experienced in his field. He has an in depth knowledge of practices he uses to treat his patients. I have been visiting him for Neck pain headaches and migraine which I have been suffering for over two years and no difference despite seeing so many professionals. After few treatments with Clement I have started to see noticeable differences with reduced number of migraine episodes and restoration of movement in the Neck.He uses range of treatments suitable for treatments of conditions. He puts his patients at ease, doesn't hurry them and answers all the questions very elaborately. I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Very professional approach to the patient. I have been given a massage after I have injured my lower back and wasn't able to move without an excruciating pain. I got well informed what was being done to me and how to look after myself afterwards. The place you need to visit if you need professional help. Michael is a wonderful human being, very dedicated to his work as well as talented and knowledgeable. Always knows what causes the pain and have ideas how to help. Every time I leave his practice I feel like a whole new woman!

Fantastic experience: I have suffered from Fibromyalgia for 11 years and recently hit a brick wall with my self treatment. I am new to the area and was highly recommended Clem by a friend. I can honestly say he is by far the best therapist I have ever seen and I’ve seen plenty over the years. His treatment is 2nd to none and I have felt a massive improvement since going to him. He works on your body as a whole using a number of different treatments techniques and not just on the specific area of pain. If there is an issue elsewhere in your body he will find it without any direction. The sign of a great therapist in my eyes. He really just gets on with the job and achieves so much in the hour, I can’t recommend him highly enough :)

Fantastic experience: As a practitioner of martial arts from time to time I receive injuries while training; Lower back injury , sprained wrist/ankles, pulled hamstrings and stiff neck etc etc , Clem is always my first port call to sort these problems out which he does without fail. Sometimes it may take more than one visit but you ALWAYS come out of his surgery better than when you went in. Clem is very patient and thorough he takes the time to listen to what ails me , then applies the appropriate treatment whilst explaining what he is doing and why. He immediately dealt with the problem and other issues areas, that could lead to further injury. He actively listens to your concerns and how your body reacts, delivering you the best possible treatment. I have seen and felt the improvement in my posture and training form. He gives extra time and doesn't rush. My elbow(broken and fixed surgically) moves almost perfectly now without pain after his sessions and the grip in my hand came back. He is qualified and knows what he does. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: A real magician have had treatment on numerous occasions with various different injury’s and every time iv felt like a new man and a few times being able to fit me in on the same day when iv jarred my back and in need for urgent treatment. High recommend even with the COVID situation there is protection measures in place such as masks and antibacterial hand sanitiser and I see him spraying the bench and equipment with disinfectant spray.

Fantastic experience: After my back problems solved 8 months ago, I was coming back for help .This time my knees I suffer from knee pain. It has started from one and after some time limping the second one .Done MRI scan privately. Showed pictures to Michael .Explains everything. Most happy eventually that afer his initial treatment I can walk with almost no pain.!!!!Thank you. Fantastic experience: I limped into Clems practice in a great deal of pain having spent 24 hours gritting my teeth after putting my back out. An hour later I was leaving feeling like a new man! Clem identified the problem and managed to help sort it through a combination of acupuncture, massage, suction and stretching. He then gave clear advice as to the best way for me to keep on top of the issue and so hopefully I’ll be making a full recovery in the quickest time possible. I also suffer from autretism, oustoporosis and spine degeneration. My standard of living improved significantly thanks to the treatments. Joint and muscle pains are much less. Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Active Balance for about 20 years after being recommended by a friend. Over the years I have had various problems with different area including back and legs - I always feel reassured when attending either for acupuncture or a massage. Mr Kylie always explains exactly what he is doing. I find it amazing how i go to him with a bad back but it ends up being caused by my ankle etc. You never feel rushed and his knowledge is unbelievable. You are often told to go and see how you feel over the next few days and never made feel that you must make another appointment. Mr a Kylie is hands on and never uses machines I have recommended several people to him something I wouldn’t do if I didn’t fully trust him.

Fantastic experience: Hi everyone , Just notice this place is on social media . Someone recommended me Clement as brilliant guy when I had problem with my lower back. I suffered from sciatica pain.It was about 5 years ago. I couldn't move at all . Therefore I couldn't work. I'm painter and decorator. One month later, after 2-3 times a week of treatment. I was fully back on track. I was so thankful for bringing me back to life. I have to say ,I'm coming back to Active Balance when I feel my back but it's never as bad as then.
