Fantastic experience: Cathryn is an excellent physio. She's positive, glass half full and notices when clients get tired. My Mum has made great progress and we went for an outing today for the first time since July. We practiced going up and down the driveway to make sure Mum was safe before going out. Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to be given the phone number of the Home Physio Company. I had just come home from hospital with no physio! I phoned and was given an appointment the next day with Arya Zarrinkhat who came to my house. I feel I won the lottery finding this company and him. My progress has been extremely good due to Arya’s ability to know exactly what I need and can do. The whole experience with him and the company is making my recuperation very smooth and so positive. I am extremely happy to recommend this company
Fantastic experience: Arya is doing wonders for my 95 year old mother who is learning to stand and walk again with his help, after 2 hip replacements. He is patient and kind and very encouraging - cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: My niece arranged for me to receive physiotherapy support at home, and I am so glad she did. From the very beginning, the care I have received from Home Physio Company has been amazing. I first met Stephanie, the owner, weekly for a year. I was initially quite nervous about receiving physiotherapy at home, but I need not have been, Stephanie is an incredibly knowledgeable, personable and empathetic physiotherapist. She always treated me with the utmost respect, and I feel truly grateful and very lucky to have had her support. As of this year, Monika began working with me too, and she has been amazing as well, with a similar approach to Stephanie. Fantastic experience: I contacted Home Physio Company in January 2025 and received an immediate response from Julia, who was so warm and helpful. Within days we had an appointment with Stephanie, the business owner, and we have not looked back since, it's now been a year and eight months. For the first year, Stephanie assisted my mum weekly and was absolutely incredible. I cannot really begin to explain how supportive both Julia and Stephanie have been. My mum's mobility changes were not being monitored due to her diagnosis of Alzheimer's, which is unfortunately common. From the moment I spoke with Julia and Stephanie, they discussed my mother's care and support with the utmost respect and equality. Stephanie is an incredibly knowledgeable, personable and empathetic physiotherapist. We are truly grateful and feel very lucky for the time we've had with her. As of January this year, Monika began working with us, and she has been amazing too, with a similar approach to Stephanie. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Physio Company. It was one of the few places I could find that would visit my mother at her nursing home. If you are considering them, do not hesitate!

Negative experience: We have had a very disappointing experience with Home Physio. We felt that business decisions were prioritised over our 12-year-old daughter's continuity of care following her traumatic brain injury. As a result, she has been left absolutely distraught at being unable to continue her physiotherapy. We were initially fortunate to have an excellent physiotherapist through the company, but after she left our experience changed significantly. In our dealings with Stephanie, the founder, we found that important positions conveniently changed over time. We found it difficult to rely on verbal discussions because our understanding of what had been agreed did not always align with what was later said. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend confirming important discussions in writing. One appointment was cancelled without us being informed, meaning our daughter unnecessarily missed both a valuable physiotherapy session and time at school. Experiences may vary, but ours has been extremely upsetting and has left us with little confidence in how our concerns and our daughter's welfare were handled. Edit: Following the response below, we also received an email warning of potential legal action over our review, which we found deeply unsettling. However, we consider Home Physio’s version of events to be selective and misleading, and we stand firmly by everything we have said. The whole experience has been extremely distressing for us, and we sincerely hope no other family is put in this position. Finally, we would ask the owner to refrain from contacting us again. We have politely requested this more than once now and would appreciate that request being respected.
We are very sorry to read this review, but we do not believe it accurately reflects the circumstances surrounding the ending of care.
We fully appreciate that changes involving a long-standing therapeutic relationship can be extremely upsetting for a patient and their family. However, we do feel it is important that the factual circumstances surrounding the ending of care are accurately represented.
When a clinician left Home Physio Company, there were contractual restrictions regarding the continuation of treatment with existing patients. Despite this, we made an exceptional arrangement allowing the clinician to continue providing weekly treatment specifically because we recognised the importance of continuity of care.
The decision for that clinician to subsequently stop providing treatment was not made by Home Physio Company, it was made by the clinician and their new employer.
Home Physio Company continued to offer ongoing treatment with a highly specialist paediatric neurological physiotherapist, with availability for regular ongoing sessions. The family subsequently contacted us in writing specifically requesting that all further physiotherapy with Home Physio Company be cancelled, and we respected and actioned that decision.
We have always left the door open for ongoing physiotherapy to be provided and would never knowingly leave a patient requiring physiotherapy without appropriate support or options for continued care.
We therefore feel it is important to clarify that Home Physio Company did not make the decision to end this patient's physiotherapy provision. We made an exception to our usual contractual position to preserve continuity of care, continued to offer specialist physiotherapy when the other clinician withdrew, and remained willing to provide ongoing treatment.
We are genuinely saddened that the family feels this way after what had previously been a very positive therapeutic relationship with our service.
As a healthcare provider, we take patient confidentiality extremely seriously and will not discuss individual correspondence or further details publicly. We retain written records of the relevant communications and arrangements and would, of course, provide these through the appropriate channels if required.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend The Home Physio Company. I myself am a physio but live too far away from my Grandad to treat him myself - from booking the initial appointment, to the first assessment, to twice weekly sessions Tom has been incredible. He’s provided regular updates, has been working with staff in my Grandad’s nursing home & continuing to form treatment plans that can be continued by staff and family now he has reached some of his goals. He’s managed to build excellent rapport & I know my Grandad will be genuinely sad when he finishes his rehab. Thank you for delivering such excellent, compassionate and patient centred care. Tom was realistic and open - managing our expectations from the beginning, but continued to re-assess and provided the right dedicated rehab to ensure my Grandad gained some of his mobility back.

Fantastic experience: I have found Callum to be extremely professional and efficient in providing both the physical and breathing exercises in need for my condition. He has a very positive attitude which is helpful in doing this physiotherapy. As a result my fitness and breathing levels are improving.

Fantastic experience: Joel is THE most amazing physio ever. He is always 100% professional, and at the same time very kind, encouraging and great fun. He's about the only person in the world that my mother trusts, and that really is saying a lot. He's enabling my mother to make the progress that I, and she, had both thought wouldn't be possible (especially bearing in mind that my mother is 100 years old). We're both so pleased to see him every visit.

Fantastic experience: Found Home Physio Company when searching for a home physio for my elderly, housebound mother with limited mobility. Email and telephone communication with Julia in the office, for finding and booking a local physio, was quick and easy. The initial home assessment by Charlie was excellent. His manner was kind and considerate of my mother's limited mobility, yet he managed to encourage her to do more than she has attempted in a while. She now has an exercise program to follow and future visits planned to monitor progress and assess for improving mobility with other pieces of equipment.

Fantastic experience: We were very happy with the introductory visit from Cathryn. Fantastic experience: I was able to get a home visit at a convenient time quite quickly. I was really impressed by Annabelle, the Physio who came. She examined my daughter thoroughly and explained what she was doing and why which helped both my daughter and me. She gave us really clear advice on what to do now and if the issue got worse. She was also lovely, as testified by our dog who doesn't normally like strangers but seemed to want to be examined by Annabelle too!

Fantastic experience: The physio, Charlotte, who was sent to me was a thoroughly professional and experienced NHS physio, who works most of her days within a hospital. She spent a long time examining me and thoroughly diagnosing my neck and back problems. Charlotte explained things clearly. She gently massaged my muscles and spine. She designed a programme of exercises I must do to strengthen my muscles to support my head, gain more movement, reduce pain and free a nerve from inflammation. She was utterly kind, reassuring and motivating. I will recommend her to my friends.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend the services of the Home Physio Company. I required professional rehabilitation following double hip replacements. Steph developed a personal recovery plan for me and monitored my progress personally at home, once a week initially. With her help I rapidly increased in strength, and from being in pain and virtually bed bound soon progressed from walking with crutches to running without them and without any sign of a limp. Steph’s analysis of my recovery requirements was insightful and she initiated and trained me in specific exercises backed up with videos and individual instructions for my needs. I could not recommend The Home Physio company more highly.

Fantastic experience: I have had two physio sessions with the Home Physio Company. The physiotherapist assessed my leg strength and gave me some exercises to improve my balance. These have helped me to build up my strength. I am very pleased with the service that I have received.

Fantastic experience: I used the service of Home Physio Company in 2022 when I broke my ankle. Stephanie was the physio who support me with my recovey, and I feel very grateful for all the support, enthusiasm, guidance during my recovery. Thanks to her plan from stiffness and almost not walking and started to have confidence and motivation to do more and now I feel full recovered. Her dedication, professionalism, support is amazing and I recommend with my eyes close to anyone that needs physio.

Fantastic experience: Physiotherapy treatment(home visit mode) undergone for calf muscle grade-2 tear. Steph assessed and provided required treatment to recover from muscle tear that happened to me while playing Cricket. She had scheduled the home visits depending on my condition time to time and my recovery was good. I'm very thankful to Steph.

Fantastic experience: I broke my ankle and wanted to get mobile as soon as possible. I was struggling with my boot and crutches too. I wanted a home physio to visit as I had no way of getting anywhere (could not even get down the stairs). The home physio service was fantastic. Showed me how to use the crutches and started a proper regular exercise plan. All I received from the hospital was a leaflet. Got me moving, and my bone healed really well. I didn't have any muscle wasting either, which can be a problem I understand. If I needed physio again for whatever reason I would not hesitate to contact the Home Physio company and have recommended them to some of my friends.

Fantastic experience: I found Home Physio Company on a search of the internet while looking for someone to help my mum after her stroke. Stephanie came out to see my mum, she was so friendly and put my mum at easy right from the beginning. Stephanie is always happy and pleasant,nothing is ever too much trouble, she has helped my mum so much not with just getting her up and walking but with tips and advice. Fantastic experience: I've had a trapped nerve for 4 years, overnight I lost the ability to walk, A & E at 7am, 10 days later home after L4 & L5 operation, then It's a case of physio, somehow my sister got hold of Sussex Home physio, the rest is history, I went from zimmer frame, crutches, two walking sticks & then 1 stick, Within 8 weeks I was walking unaided, yes a lot of determination on my part, but without the help & advice of Stephanie Dowd, who I am so grateful to, I would still be struggling, it's been a slow process but today I have walked two & a half miles with my dog. These professional people, really do know their trade, I will always be very grateful for the help

Fantastic experience: Stephanie has helped me tremendously with a sore back caused by poor posture at my workstation. She explained the anatomical situation very clearly and showed me how to sit with the correct support and posture, and gave me clear, written exercising instructions.
