Fantastic experience: Went to see Ewan today after carrying a lot of tension in my legs, and it was exactly what I needed. As a runner, injury prevention is a priority for me, and Ewan's whole approach is built around that, treating the immediate problem while thinking about my long-term movement and wellbeing rather than just a quick fix. What stood out most was how much he talked me through as he worked: what he was finding, why it was happening, and what we were doing about it. I left not just feeling better, but actually understanding my own body better, and knowing what I need to do to keep it that way. If you're after a sports massage from someone who treats you as a whole person rather than just a set of tight muscles, I can't recommend Ewan and Peacehaven Health enough. I'll definitely be back, this is going to become part of my regular maintenance as a runner.

Fantastic experience: From my very first consultation with Dr. Jen, I felt completely listened to. She took the time to understand my concerns, seemed to immediately identify what was causing my pain, and explained everything in a way that made perfect sense. She clearly outlined what was happening and what we could do to improve it, which gave me a lot of confidence from the start. Every session has been incredibly helpful, and I always leave feeling noticeably better than when I arrived. I also really appreciate that Jen gives me exercises and practical advice to do between appointments, which has made a huge difference in helping me manage my movement and pain day to day. Jen is warm, welcoming, and creates such a relaxed atmosphere that I genuinely look forward to every appointment. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Uyi is brilliant and such I nice guy I have had 8 weeks of 2 sessions a week and am now down to 1 session a fortnight When I first came to see uyi I was in pain walking just a few yards And this had been getting worse for the best part of a year Now I can walk more than a couple of miles and am regularly covering over 15000 steps a day at work although I still have some discomfort occasionally the improvement has been amazing All the staff are lovely and you really feel looked after by the receptionist I highly recommend this place if you've got a problem get it looked at it's the best thing I've done coming here and my health has improved so much from it

DR Karen Philp is my practitioner and has helped me no end with back/shoulder pain including a very sore elbow which was awful for some time but Karen got it sorted. Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Rachel now for over a year she is exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable and I love her kind caring approach. I was in a lot of pain needing a knee replacement when I first saw her and she literally kept me on my feet prior to my operation. Now I have my new knee she straightens me out every couple of weeks. Fantastic experience: I started visiting Peacehaven Chiropractic just over a month ago after seeing an offer on Facebook. I had pulled a muscle in my back, and had other repetitive strain injuries I had thought would never get better. After just 3 sessions with Dr Karen Philips my spasming back stopped within 2 days of first session, and now am feeling better and more agile than I have in years! We just get used to our aches and pains, but Karen has shown me I didn't need to. Will now continue regular maintenance sessions. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Mike enough! I'm seeing him for a rather persistent shoulder injury, i think a may be his greatest challenge yet We always have such a laugh and he's amazing at his job and i think part of this is due to having injured his own shoulders on a couple of occasions, therefore he has a really good understanding of what's going on inside. He has a totally different approach compared to other Chiropractors I've seen and i would highly recommend him. The Reception (Sorry i can't remember your name) is also lovely.

They are both brilliant and have kept me well and without pain even after a very traumatic birth. Rachel has also treated my daughter since 2 weeks old, she is so knowledgeable and supportive I would recommend her to any women going through pregnancy.

Fantastic experience: Mike Ford is fantastic. I had severe Nerv pain and no doctors or even the hospital were able to help, only with medication. I have seen Mike for about 6 weeks and he transformed me. I can’t thank him enough for his knowledge and dedication.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Rachel Hodson at Peacehaven Chiropractic when I was in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy (October 2022). Mainly because I needed to see someone about my lower back pain. I cannot recommend Rachel enough! From the second session I felt the pain in my lower back had improved. After the first session I did feel quite uncomfortable, but this improved immediately after the second session. I carried on seeing Rachel throughout my pregnancy and with every adjustment I felt the pain get better along with other improvements. The most shocking thing I have noticed since my sessions with Rachel, was that my ankles have started working. All my life I have fallen over regularly, continually having grazed knees as an adult. I have chocolate ankles! I fell over at least 4 times during my 1st and 2nd trimester, which was obviously very worrying. After a couple of sessions with Rachel I noticed I could feel my ankles. I know this sounds really weird, but I can only describe the feeling as my ankles have started working. I have not fallen over, or even tripped since I started seeing Rachel. My baby is 8 weeks old, she has also started seeing Rachel for adjustments. My baby girl had a slight problem where she predominantly looked right and I can already see the improvement, where she spends more time looking left too now. I always wanted to get my baby checked holistically once they were born. I was just lucky to find Rachel before my little girl was. Imagine being crushed up in a womb for 9 months, then being pushed out how they are, can't feel that good on their little bodies and they can't tell us if they are in any pain. Rachel carried out a full assessment of my little girl and I will carry on getting her treated until she is 100% right, to give her the best start in life. I have been to one other chiropractor years ago and they made me very scared to go back after how they approached my treatment (thought they were going to break my neck without warning). Rachel is very informative, gentle (ish) and educates me at each appointment why the adjustments are helping me. I will always continue to see Rachel and my daughter will too. Thank you Rachel!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Rachel since 2018 during my first pregnancy when I experienced debilitating hip pain. Without her help, I would have really suffered during that time. I have now been a regular attendee for maintenance including during my second pregnancy, which was thankfully pain free! Rachel helped make me more comfortable with my two long babies taking up the room. Rachel also assessed and treated both my sons from newborns who both experienced tightness in the neck and arms as a result of very fast labours and compound birth. I have also been treated by Mike, during Rachel’s absence who is lovely! Can’t recommend the practice enough, especially if pregnant, postpartum or for newborn check ups!

Fantastic experience: When I first went to see Rachel I was having problems sitting, standing and walking with damage to my lower back area. I felt blessed if I got 3 hours sleep per night and cramps associated with the damage were debilitating. Since attending the Peacehaven Clinic, from May this year, there has been a gradual but vast improvement in all areas: I can sit for much longer spells, I stand with no pain at all I go for walks with the dogs and am able to push a pram to take my grandson out. At night I sleep much better (some nights a full 6 hours!!) and the cramps have all but disappeared. Thank you for giving me back the freedom of movement and the will to ‘live’ ….Amazing!

Fantastic experience: I have been so lucky to have found this practice and especially Rachel. She works with Bupa so I could register with her to start the treatment for my tendinitis. The staff are all very nice and Rachel is an amazing chiropractor. She is very organised and very friendly, always with a smile. Fantastic experience: I cannot reccomend peacehaven chiropractic enough...... As a whole practice all the staff are wonderful, helpful and kind. For my treatments I see Rachel- I came to her during my second pregnancy for SPD that had severely affected my mobility in my first pragnancy. Well all I can say is I wish I found Rachel when pregnant with my first!! She managed my expectations well i appreciated she may not "cure" my SPD but she advised she could do something. Reality was for me the SPD remained, however, it was a mild annoyance compared to the pain and mobility issues from my previous pregnancy. In addition to that and for me what made Rachel absolutly stand out compared to any other practitioner I've seen was her manner and approach, I loved how she not only treated me with respect and compassion but she also treated my unborn child with the same care often talking to him as she worked on us! Any adjustments or treatments she administered were gentle but really worked, I would often leave my appointments with baby in a much better position and me able to breath!! She helped prepare my body for his arrival and helped me to rationally consider options when my birthplans changed. I have continued to see Rachel post partum and have taken my newborn son for treatment too and it's truly wonderful we both trust her and feel relaxed and safe in her hands. I really believe all pregnant women should have chiropractic care during their pregnancies and you really can't find better care than with Rachel!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been having adjustments with Rachel and I’d highly recommend going during pregnancy too. It’s helped me to be in less pain and also allowing my baby to have more room to grow inside. It’s benefitted both me and baby lots as I’ve been seeing Rachel since 23 weeks right up until now being 38 weeks. She’s made me feel comfortable and it’s a very reassuring and calming atmosphere too which helps a lot. Definitely recommend coming here !!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Rachel for over 10 years and I highly recommend her. She always seems to know intuitively what my body needs and the level of manipulation I can manage. After an adjustment I can immediately feel my posture has improved and I’m moving more freely. Before I started seeing Rachel, I would need regular time off work with debilitating back pain but regular monthly visits have virtually stopped all such issues.

Negative experience: No matter how good reviews and feedback you hear about this practice, there is a fact which you can't dispute or ignore. And I quote the chiropractors from this practice " We can only help 70% of the patients". That's right. They can only help 2 in 3 patients. So bare this fact in mind before you go or continue going there. They will of course say "It's not a quick fix" etc... It has never been about time! It's about whether you can help people who are paying you good money and expect some comfort in return.

Fantastic experience: Suffering from on/off lower back pain, my hip also started hurting and it all got quite bad last Autumn. As I was waiting for a referral from my GP for a physio appointment, I booked a deep tissue massage. It was performed by Sasha. Very professional and a lovely manner, but most of all amazing massage by Sasha, which made my lower back pain completely disappear for the next few months. (Hip pain also almost all gone). This reminds me I should have another one soon ;-)

Fantastic experience: Over the past 8 years Rachel has treated our family of 5 (from newborn to 52 years) and specifically helped me through an extremely difficult pregnancy. Her excellent technical knowledge and kind, likeable manner combined with an additional intuitive understanding of the cause and effect of pain result in a unique first rate Chiropractor who I would not hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic experience: Rachel provides a good mix of chiropractic and complimentary treatment. She is very knowledgeable and skilled and takes time to explain the possible causes of my lower back pain and recommends exercises I can do at home to help. At first I had to have a few treatments but now, with regular maintenance treatments, my lower back pain is under control - thank you! I would have no hesitation in recommending Rachel.

Fantastic experience: Rachel is a fantastic chiropractor. Far away from the systematic/automatic manipulation, she adapted her care to my needs (she treated me in London for 18 months with sessions approx every other week, for disc herniation, wrist and shoulder tendinitis). I enjoyed her global approach and her positiveness. I would definitively recommend her as a great therapist.

Fantastic experience: I found myself rather distressed after receiving treatment from 2 different physios which concluded with me being in much pain and lack of movement. This was especially galling after playing tennis actively for many years, and all they were treating was a minor knee issue. Unfortunately the exercises I was given created the problem. Rachel was the first professional to analyse the situation holistically, looking at my overall posture, and my MRI results along with many questions. 6 months later after quite a few adjustments Rachel has me playing tennis again. I am exceedingly grateful for her holistic approach, including nutrition which has got me from -7 out of 10 to 7 out of 10. I would happily recommend her for any back/structure issues you may have.
