Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Max on a fairly regular basis for a number of years. In the first instance it was to help me with a long-standing back 'issue'. Max diagnosed the problem and dealt with it so comprehensively that it is no longer an 'issue'. Since then, he has diagnosed and solved various aches and pains to my knees, shoulders and even my feet, mainly caused by me refusing to accept that I am actually getting older. Ever courteous, with such a kindly and comforting approach, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs treatment and especially those who have never visited a chiropractic before. Now well into my seventies, and refusing to change my interests, I just visit every few months for a check-up, for Max to keep me up to scratch for my back-packing hiking trips and annual ski holiday and any other foolish adventure I might embark on. Fantastic experience: I have been to see Max for chiropractic treatment several times over the years, most recently for knee and shoulder pain. The shoulder pain recovered naturally, as Max predicted, and the knee pain went after a few treatment sessions with him and by doing the exercises he gave me. I also have recently undergone a 12-week course of the Emerald Laser Fat Reduction & Wellness, together with the Body Balancer Lymphatic Drainage at the Clinic. Routine maintenance appointments each quarter keep everything working as it should. Whenever I've needed additional sessions, due to inadvertently straining something, Max ensures he gets to the source of the problem and treats it accordingly. No better examples of this than: 1. I inadvertently tweaked my back the weekend before my daughter's wedding. Max found a slot to see me asap and resolved the pain immediately. 2. The day of our house move I woke with severe back pain. Fantastic experience: Max solves every problem I face to him efficiently and in as short time as he can. Most recently for a torn meniscus in my knee where I had lazer to improve the healing, blood flow, and inflammation. I also had strength exercises to help me improve faster. Fantastic experience: I first consulted Max after a hip replacement left me with one leg a little shorter than the other, causing me pain. Max identified the problem, advised installing a heel lift (a small pad under the heel, and indeed it cured the problem. Since then I have had a regular consultation, without any perhaps feeling any continuing need but I continue because I am always impressed by his advice and accompanying explanations.

Then three years ago, I went back to him because I was having balance difficulties as well as some back pain. Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Max ( Atkinson) for around 10 years. A number of my acquaintances are also clients. The nickname we have given him is 'Magic' Max because the treatments he gives us always seems to have great results. I have said that in a perfect world , Max would be instantly available, to deal with the pain or balance issues that I have. Unfortunately this perfect, magical world does not exist, so I have to make an appointment, like everyone else. But it is always worth the wait.

Fantastic experience: I first saw Max in 1998. Since that time he has resolved a number of different issues for me. Treatment I have experienced includes manipulation, X-ray investigation, acupuncture and, more recently, grastons massage technique. His treatments have been backed up with specific, relevant exercises. He has a deep knowledge of health issues and provides advice accordingly. If I have had a fall or experience twinges anywhere then he is my first port of call.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Max at his chiropractic clinic for around four years now, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care, attention, and quality of Max's chiropractic treatment. He has helped me a great deal with both chronic and acute pain in my life. I have suffered from migraines since I was young, and since visiting Max for treatment, and taking his holistic health advice, I find that I am enduring less of these episodes. Max has also been excellent at resetting my neck, head, jaw, and ribs after various minor accidents, such as a collapsing incident that saw me black out while showering. Without Max's intervention, I cannot imagine how much more pain I'd have been in, and how long the recovery could have taken. If you have any kind of nagging aches and pains, just go and see Max. Fantastic experience: Max is a very caring professional. He's patient and never rushes you through your appointment, his aim being to give you a healthy and pain free life. I went to Max initially for treatment with osteoarthritis in my knees, which he has helped enormously with and his treatment has delayed my need for a knee replacement. However, last year, out of the blue, I experienced a pain in my leg, which at first I thought was sciatica. It was excruciating and Max diagnosed I had a trapped femoral nerve, well he did his magic and after three sessions, out of pain completely, a great relief.
