I’ve been attending the Twyford clinic for a few months due to a number of ailments and each course of physio or acupuncture, along with the recommended exercises, has got me back to my desired physical health. Whether it’s via my insurance or paying direct, Phil fits the sessions around my busy work schedule. Top bloke and can 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from Phil! I had a bad MCL tear from a skiing accident. This injury takes a long time to recover from. Phil gave great advice with lots of tips; using aTENS machine, hot and cold pads, exercises that slowly built up as the ligament healed. He offered loads of different exercise to make sure the much needed muscle rebuild covered everything. I enjoyed my sessions with him and will actually miss sharing a laugh each time. Thank you so much Phil my leg is so much better than I ever thought it would be.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming back from my left knee injury to play tennis over one month now. So huge thanks the physio Philip Wilson. I had my left knee injured and locked just before Christmas. I went my GP surgery to see Physio and I'd been referred to specialist because my locked knee. Meantime I went to see Phil. He checked and said that he give me 6 treatments I could be back to play tennis which he did. By the way, I didn't get chance to see surgery phiso referred the specialist as I already had my knee recovered from Phil's treatments. Fantastic experience: Phil Wilson has fixed a number of physical faults in my 80+ year old joints and muscles. The first was persistent pain with full use of a replacement metal ankle - supposedly untreatable. He has amazing analytic capability in applying gentle strength to joints, tendons, and nerve locations to gradually remove permanent hurt. A shoulder was next ... he puts you back on the street as soon as he thinks you are well! Unsolicited comment!

Fantastic experience: I had a lower back problem and an issue with hamstring that had been a problem on and off for about 5 years. This was particularly an issue cycling due to pressure from saddle. I had never had acupuncture before but Philip decided it was appropriate for this injury and it was great. Problem sorted and the the exercises he gave me are really good post-cycling. I had a rib injury he was able to fix, he also identified the cause of the injury which came from an imbalance in my back. So now I am able to work on that imbalance to prevent future injuries.

Fantastic experience: Back pain is debilitating, I should know, I have suffered from it for years and years, every move was agony, continuing outdoor activity was out of the question I tried everything, facet joint injections,spinal injections, radiofrequency denervation, yo name it I had it and drugs, drugs and yet more drugs. First time round the above procedures were with private medicine and then all over again with the NHS, whilst initially some relief was given, it soon began to wear off. In desperation I looked at surgery but was advised that it was too risky. Being a very active person, it looked as though my life in retirement would be limited to sitting at home, a couch potato! So back in August I decided to visit Phillip and after 3 sessions my lower back pain started to recede, I have now had 5 sessions with him and I feel so much better, my lower back is, with his manipulation, much looser and with the home exercises he has given me I am going from strength to strength. Fantastic experience: Damaged my ankle ligaments and was told by my GP to just rest and all would be well in 6 to 8 weeks. After 12 weeks I was still in pain so booked in with Philip and he explained I had scar tissue that he could help with. He predicted I’d need 5 or 6 visits and after 5 visits (over 2 weeks) I think we’re done and I’m no longer in constant pain. I'm starting to exercise again and I can come back If I feel I need to. Fantastic experience: I have had trobles with my knee for years and only after a ski injury I ralised it is rather serious. I was hoping to avoid surgery and contacted Phil. I did several treatments and some excercises. When he noticed I was not improving he recommended knee reconstruction. I am so happy that I followed his advice and did the surgery in the end. Fantastic experience: Suffered a serious running injury, which didn't heal well on its own. At one point I didn't believe that I would be able to run again due to the pain. However, visited The Twyford Clinic, and after a number of sessions, the injury started to heal quickly, and I was soon able to start some light running. Today, my leg is as good as new, and I am back to running like I did before the injury.
