Fantastic experience: I started seeing Alan 3 months ago. Before that I had been to a private consultant who told me I had Bursitis in both of my hips. He recommended physio and injections. Both didn't help at all. I was feeling quite depressed when my daughter recommended Alan as she had been to ARC Osteopathy previously for a massage which she found very helpful. On my first appointment, Alan spotted that I had a problem with my walk, which was contributing to my problem. Nobody had picked this up before. Also the exercises that the physiotherapist gave me, weren't the right ones. Alan has helped me so much with the treatment and exercises, that only after 3 months I'm 50% better than I was! I would certainly recommend Alan and his team.

Fantastic experience: I had developed a number of impingements which were impacting my bench press and squat in particluar and leaving me susceptible to a series of annoying injuries. Alan analysed various movement patterns and determined where the weaknesses and instabilities were. He worked on the affected areas and provided a comprehensive set of exercises for me to perform between visits to stretch and strengthen them. In the first month the pressing pain was greatly reduced and my force production was returning to pre-injury levels. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering with my neck for quite a while before I made contact with Alan. After a telephone conversation with him, I met him for the first time. We spent time chatting about my pain etc and Alan examined my neck. He told me what the problem was and how he could treat it. After my first treatment I had movement in my neck that I hadn’t had for months. After just four sessions I am 99% free of pain that Alan has said he doesn’t need to see me anymore but is always in the end of the phone if it starts to hurt again. Not only did he treat my neck, he gave me exercises I can continue to do at home and advice on sleeping and pillows. Highly recommend Alan. Give him a call and discuss your problem.

Fantastic experience: I attended ARC Osteopathy with a rotator cuff tear which limited my shoulder movement and was painful. Fantastic experience: Saw both Alan and Chantal on a few occasions due to tennis elbow and lower back problems. Also had sports massage. They were both highly professional, personable and VERY good! Fantastic experience: After a strong sciatica pain that started while exercising, I looked online for a local osteopath to help me as I was really struggling to move normally again. Fantastic experience: Would not hesitate to recommend Alan! I had picked up a knee injury from running but was keen to get back out safely. At my first appointment with Alan, we discussed the injury and he throughly examined the problem via a mixture of hands on examination and watching me move. Fantastic experience: Extremely happy with my treatment from Allan. I've had lower back pain which became severe where I was left lopsided couldn't walk, sleep or stand comfortably. My treatment started once a week for 4 then once fortnightly, now it is every 6 weeks. I couldn't thank him enough. Fantastic experience: Alan is a very skilled osteopath. I have been seeing him for a few months (pre and post lockdown) for a lower back and hip problem. He is extremely professional and knowledgable and has really helped me get back to normal after suffering with pain for some time! My husband has also seen him for 2 different issues (upper back and knee pain) and has also received an excellent service. Highly recommend! On a different note, he has taken the government guidelines for covid-19 very seriously and I feel very safe and secure attending an appointment with him!

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend used this service, when he hurt his back a couple of months ago. Alan was able to diagnose very quickly what the problem was and to treat it accordingly. He also gave him some new ways of stretching, so there wasn't a recurrence of the injury. Alan was very friendly and professional at all times.

Fantastic experience: I attended the practice first some 4 months ago when at work my back 'seized up'. A telephone call later and an appointment was swiftly made. I hobbled in to to my appointment wondering if I'd ever walk properly again and after one session I was back on my feet. Literally. Alan identified the problem as coming from my neck region and after a few courses of manipulation, the pain was relieved and issue in my neck area also resolved. Fantastic experience: Alan Rowe Is a god send, 7 weeks ago i slipped my disc, the worst pain I have ever experienced. Only 29 unable to barley walk and my body bent over fully forward, having the NHS just supply me with painkillers and be told to just rest made me seek alternative help. Alan didn't just diagnose the problem, he preformed massages, acupuncture, advised about what stretches I must do on a daily basis. 5 weeks after the disc slipped I was stood back up right able to walk with only very little discomfort , it is now 7 weeks and I feel that I have my life back able to walk, wear heels and I thank Alan for all his great help making what seemed the impossible, possible.
Fantastic experience: Having visited the doctor about my tennis elbow with no relief other than pain killers I decided to visit ARC. I had used them before in Croydon when I had dislocated a rib so knew they were good. My elbow has much improved with gentle manipulation, electro-acupuncture and exercises for home. I would definitely recommend Arc Osteopathy. They are polite, professional and best of all they can make pain go away!
