Fantastic experience: Dr David Wheeler is fantastic! His trigger point therapy technique has really eased the tension in my neck (self inflicted from poor sleeping positions when younger and tension from job and computer factors), giving me more movement which allows me to be more relaxed and free. Headaches and tension gone! Dr David makes you feel comfortable and at ease which is appreciated and his thorough and knowledgeable techniques are to be applauded. Very affordable and Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing David for about a year now for issues with a twisted/tilted pelvis and lower spine after years of misdiagnosis as a slipped disc by the GP, osteopath and physio! I was in severe pain for many years, unable to participate in sport/exercise (sometimes unable to stand or walk) and constantly being prescribed pain relief and questionable exercises by my GP/physio which never worked and in fact exacerbated the issue. Since my very first session with David the pain relief was instant and I could see light at the end of the tunnel. I am back to playing sport and exercising without pain and without fear of injury. For a few months I had been suffering from pain in my shoulder and pins and needles down my arm which at the point of booking my appointment had become very intense. Fantastic experience: I had an issue with my back and was in a lot of pain. I saw a private Dr and had several physio sessions and had no clear diagnosis and was still experiencing a lot of pain. I had 30 x min session with David and immediately he established the issue and realigned my pelvis and immediately my pain subsided. I can honestly say there are only 2 that I've come across in my time that i can say are genuinely interested in helping you and not treating you as just a cash cow, David is one of the trustworthy ones. Fantastic experience: Having never had any form or back pain before it was a shock to have injured my lower back and dealing with how much it affects daily movements. I found David and the advance chiropractic clinic online and from reading previous reviews thought it would be right to give it a go. From the first appointment through to my last David was extremely professional and clearly knowledgeable on how to deal with any form of back pain. Fantastic experience: I found David's acupuncture clinic when searching the internet for acupuncturists who assisted those suffering from autoimmune conditions - specifically Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. I have since had acupuncture sessions over a period of months to assist with troublesome symptoms associated with the disease and would recommend treatment to anyone looking for some relief from such a condition. I had never had acupuncture before visiting the clinic but I was put at ease when I met David as his attention to detail, high level of professionalism and thorough knowledge were evident immediately. The clinic is also spotless and the treatment comfortable - for anyone worrying about the 'needles' associated with acupuncture, there is nothing to fear and I would urge you to give it a go - nothing about the treatment is comparable to anything traumatic or 'medical'. I did not know what to expect from acupuncture but attended my sessions with an open mind and I have been pleasantly surprised by the results. I truly feel my health has benefitted since beginning treatment and my autoimmune symptoms have reduced really significantly which is fantastic. I would therefore thoroughly recommend acupuncture at the clinic to anyone as this is one of the best things I have done. Like Janet, prior to seeing David I had countless visits to the doctors/ hospital and was put on Omeprazole, which in fact made my symptoms worse. In desperation, I spent days trawling through forums trying to find a cure and then I came across acupuncture therapy. Out of all the practices that I searched online, David's was the only one that gave me detailed information on my condition so it was a done deal and can say I have no regrets. Fantastic experience: I have have had treatment for eight months from David because of a chronic condition giving me pain and inflammation in joints and some neurological problems. I like to keep pain killers and NSAIDS to a minimum if possible. At my first visit David took a history of my symptoms and at each visit since assesses the need at that time. The treatment that I have had has certainly been helpful, chiropractic, myofacial release and acupuncture. David is a kind and caring person and very wellcoming. He approaches health from a body and mind perspective treating the whole person. His treatment room is clean, tidy and warm and he has always treated me with respect.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting David since August 2018 for Acupuncture. I had been suffering from very severe gastroesophageal reflux problems....these had initially commenced in February 2018 following a very bad bout of flu. I had seen various GPs about the problems I was experiencing and they had simply suggested either Gaviscon or long term use of Omeprazole. None of them seemed to want to get to the bottom of what was actually causing the problem. I am also very reluctant to take medication and will only resort to drugs as a last resort. I was becoming increasingly concerned at my condition (fearing the worst) and was at my wits end but still reluctant to go down the orthodox drug route. My dogs have acupuncture regularly and whilst talking to the vet who carries this out, she suggested that I try acupuncture, but preferably find someone who is experienced in Chinese acupuncture which differs from Western. I did a lot of research and fortunately came across David's website. I could see from his website that he was interested in digestive issues and I was also impressed by the reviews on his website. I spoke to David to discuss my problems and he agreed to see me. I have to say that I am not particularly local to David and the journey to him is about an hour.....he was concerned that I was travelling a long distance but I was anxious to see someone who clearly had the relevant experience. I was not disappointed. David took a long and detailed history from me and commenced treatment. Within 48 hours the severe pain and lump in my throat had disappeared.....initially I saw David on a weekly basis and with every treatment I felt better. As I improve the time between my treatments is getting longer and I now go every 5 weeks. David always takes the time to explain what he is doing and why a needle is being placed where it is....he also addresses dietary issues and takes a general holistic approach ensuring that he knows whether or not you are going through any additional stresses at each visit. David also has asked at each visit whether I am feeling any benefit from the treatments and whether I am happy to continue - particularly bearing in mind the distance I travel to and from his clinic. The clinic in David's home is spotless and it is also a very calm environment. David is extremely professional and it is clear that he cares about his patients. I have seen a miraculous improvement in my condition and still feel better after every visit. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending David.

Fantastic experience: I first visited David around September 2018 to start Acupuncture; he was local, had great reviews, good prices and could see me for my first appointment very quickly. I was slightly apprehensive before we met but as soon as I met David I felt comfortable and at ease. David is very professional, and he told me when I did and didn’t need appointments which I thought was fantastic; he doesn't make you take appointments he doesn't believe would benefit you. Fantastic experience: I first visited David towards the end of 2018, with severe pain and reduced mobility through pain in my lower back. The pain started as a result of my job which requires continual heavy lifting over long hours. David took time to find out about the history of this complaint, and I felt confident with his advice and expertise. One particular thing I respect in David's approach, is that he doesn't push you into booking sessions. I have only had about 6 sessions over a few months, and I am really pleased with how my back has improved (especially considering I have continued at work). Fantastic experience: I have been seeing David as I was suffering with stiffness in my neck. I had not been to a chiropractor before and was not sure what to expect. I need not have worried as David is very professional and confident that he could improve my condition. Fantastic experience: I've suffered from varying degrees of back pain for the past 4 years, with constant stiffness in my pelvis and shoulders. I regularly strained muscles in my back and would be in pain after every time I exercised. I do a lot of cycling and running and learned to live with the background pain. I injured my back a few weeks ago and wanted to have it checked over so after seeing the positive reviews I visited David. He was very welcoming and his clinic is in his home so it doesn't have that overly sterile feel, meaning I could relax. I'd heard a lot about chiropractors and people would flinch when I mentioned I was visiting one, but I had nothing to worry about! David performed a thorough evaluation of my flexibility, spinal and pelvic alignment and posture. He then asked about the injury and suggested some chiropractic adjustments and pressure point treatment to not only repair the injury, but fix my longer term stiffness. I didn't feel pain at any point as he performed the treatment and he thoroughly explained every adjustment before he performed them. After my very first treatment I felt immediate relief! It was like walking on a cloud, with a looseness in my back I had never felt before. I've been to see David four times now and am exercising 5 days per week between treatments with advice from David on how far I can push it. The treatment is working and David is always on hand by text to answer any questions! He doesn't have me in the clinic any more often than is needed and tapered my sessions off as I started to show signs of improvement. 5 stars from me and I feel better than I have in years!!

Fantastic experience: I initially booked an appointment with David due to back pain which has returned over and over again following extensive knee surgery a few years back. I had been seeing an Osteopath which I didn't feel was much benefit as the issue kept reoccurring. I saw David had excellent reviews and he was local to my place of work so thought I would give it a try - and what a good decision! David carried out an assessment with my first appointment and explained in detail how he could help me, it wasn't in medical jargon so was very easy to understand. He also checked I was happy to go ahead with the treatment which I really liked and he really made me feel comfortable. After my first session I was feeling really confident that David would be able to help and I immediately felt like his treatment would be more of a long term fix rather than short term and after a few months, a few appointments and some basic exercises at home, my back and neck feel amazing for the first time in ages! I have much better movement and have had no pain for a good month or two which is unheard of - I had forgotten what it was like to have a pain free back. I would absolutely recommend David to family and friends - I have already recommended a work colleague who will be looking to contact him in the next couple of weeks for treatment too. Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars I would. Since having major surgery in 2011 I have had on and off pain issues with my shoulder. In many ways I grew occustomed to "the bad shoulder" this consequently impacted on my overall health and quality of life. It is unbelievable that after only 1 session my shoulder and back feel amazing having had physio on it over the years. Fantastic experience: Whilst experiencing a severely uncomfortable and debilitating lower back spasm that wouldn't go away I decided to give Advance Chiropractic a call as I needed immediate relief. I was Impressed that they could fit me in later that day and a confirmation text soon appeared on my phone giving all the necessary details regarding parking and payment. After overcoming my initial surprise that the premises was obviously residential I was warmly welcomed by David and the treatment began. The initial consultation was 45 minutes in length and consisted of David building a thorough picture of my condition and then some corrective treatment, mostly manipulating the muscles either side of my spine, followed by some more violent freeing of joints using a collapsible section in the treatment bench. I hasten to add that David explained every aspect of the treatment before he carried it out so there were no nasty surprises! I went on my way after the session armed with some exercises to complete at home feeling considerably more free moving and confident I had come to the right place. There then followed a series of 30 minute consultations over the next few months, decreasing in regularity, until we were both happy that the best outcome had been achieved. I left the practice much happier, not only with my back, but comforted that if I ever have a recurrence or any other relevant issues I know exactly who to contact.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about David Wheeler? This man is amazing. I had been experiencing excruciating pain in my leg, to the point where I was barely able to walk and almost in tears just walking from the station. Following an MRI scan showing disc prolapse affecting the nerves I saw my GP who simply passed me the results and said 'surgery or painkillers'. Surgery was my biggest fear and last resort, I began taking Gabapentin but had to keep increasing the dose. At my wits end I searched the internet for local chiropractors and contacting David was a life changer! After my initial email I rang him and was simply blown away with his knowledge, care, time spent and understanding of my issue. There was no pressure to book an appointment but I immediately thought 'this man knows his stuff!' I first saw him in January, as mentioned above, at a point where the pain was unbearable. I had very regular appointments to begin with and followed his advice on exercises and posture awareness. The clinic is so warm, clean and welcoming which relaxes you simply on arrival. David uses adjustments and other chiropractic methods on my back. He immediately saw a curvature in my mid back and really importantly he explains everything clearly so I understand. After nearly three months of treatment the pain is hardly there anymore! I cannot thank David enough - he has literally changed my life, as when I first went to see him any kind of walking was unbearable and my quality of life was badly affected. I thought my only option would be surgery. I have had back and shoulder problems in the past and have seen so many different osteopaths, chiropractors and physios over the past twenty years yet none of them have been able to help - until I met David Wheeler! I recommend him 110% to anyone in need of relief. My treatment is less frequent now and walking is no longer a problem - all thanks to David, I can't praise him enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been getting treatment with David for six months now, although he has solved my issues that I went with, I still see him once a month for a top up and to make sure I stay in good shape. I can honestly say this guy is not motivated by money and cares about his patients. I can also tell you unlike other people doing this job he takes his time and does not try getting you out after 10 minutes with a load of waffle. Fantastic experience: I first got in touch with Advance Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic about a year ago when previous attempts to help a chronic back problem had proved unsuccessful. I had been suffering from relatively severe sciatic-type pain which would keep me awake at night as well as occasional upper-back discomfort. From the very first, my treatment has been fantastic. In my first session, David was able to determine not only what he thought I was suffering with but also, and potentially more importantly, what might have been causing it. This has meant that I have been able to help myself outside the sessions as well - something key to those in recovery. Improvement was obvious within the first few appointments and I have never thought that he has been recommending more treatment or appointments than necessary meaning that he most certainly offers value for money as well. David always explains what he is going to do and why he is doing it - in my case, I have had pressure-point treatment and adjustments in the back meaning that when I fall out of alignment, I am put back into place through both muscular and skeletal support. Having tried other similar clinics in the past, I can honestly say that I am hugely thankful to have found Advance Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic and that David is someone whom I trust implicitly with my treatment. Fantastic experience: I came to the clinic a few months ago after I came of from the bike. Back then I had a broken rib, back, shoulder and neck pains with restricted range of motion when turning my head. David was very kind to schedule an appointment quite fast. On the date, we sat down and gave a description of my conditions, had an initial assessment and treatment, the treat meant was well explained every step of the way and at the end of it I felt much better. After a series of treatment My head movement was restored and any back pain was gone. I have recommended my other half to go visit as she had a snowboarding accident a few years back which wasn't treated right. Fantastic experience: I contacted David as I had been trying to conceive my first child for some time and wanted to see if acupuncture could help me. I am a very anxious person and am not keen on needles at all- therefore I was grateful that I was not rushed on the phone. David took the time to answer all my questions, to explain exactly how acupuncture could help me, and to ensure me that the needling he would use on me would not be painful. In the sessions he explains how each point he uses is benefiting me and also offers other advice relating to diet, exercise and stress management. I followed all his advice and fell pregnant after 1 and a half cycles with acupuncture. I have continued with the treatment through the first trimester to help support the pregnancy and ease the symptoms. I would definitely recommend David to others who are trying to conceive- he really cares about his patients and I have even contacted him between sessions and am never made to feel that I am bothering him.!

Fantastic experience: I really recommend David, I went in with a long term issue in my shoulder and he diagnosed Chiropractic treatment with the idea that we can review it to see if Acupuncture would be good for the future.
