Negative experience: I visited around a year ago for a few appointments. Reading another review hit the nail on the head “Jay spent more time bouncing from room to room” My last appointment I said to myself if it happens again I won’t return, he left me on the bed with my legs moving up and down yet again for 10 minutes, I even got up and answered a phone call before he came back into the room. He did diagnose my problem but would only spend around 10 mins adjusting me, another 10 minutes talking about stuff nothing to do with me or my problem and obviously 10 mins not even in the room! Go and see Melvin in Ilkeston :)

Fantastic experience: I have used the clinic for 15 years or more following terrible back pain which doctors & physio's couldn't resolve. Within 3 sessions, all those years ago, my back was 95% back to normal. At age 45 I was concerned that the pain would only get worse and at that point I struggled to walk more the 400m without having to sit down to relieve it. Back is now back to 100% and I merely visit Jay and his team every 10-12 weeks to maintain and ensure it does not return. Everyone there is very friendly and professional and whatever your ailment is I would recommend you give it a go, worked for me. thanks Jay and the team Paul

Fantastic experience: I have used this wonderful chiropractor a few times over last few weeks. I have a historic lower back problems for initially brought on through an accident at work and recently suffered another work related strain which caused a severe flair up of increased lower back pain and stiffness and sciatic pain down both legs which was also hugely stressful. What Jay has done for me in just a few sessions has been exceptional and removed the sciatic pain and eased things up considerably for me He has a comprehensive knowledge and care of numerous joint and muscular issues throughout is most friendly and puts you at ease, I cannot praise or recommend him and the excellent practice highly enough, if you have ongoing joint issues or recent strains for £35 a session it is a no brainer. I’ve had massages, manipulating and acupuncture absolutely outstanding massive thanks and well done Mr Dobney

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this clinic highly enough, receptionists are very pleasant the moment you walk in they make you welcome, the chiropractor who deals with me is Lucy she is great and very good at what she does on my first appointment I couldn’t even walk in the room properly or sit down due to having slipped discs and stenosis of the spine plus ciatica but after a few visits with Lucy I started to see and feel a change, I can now sit down and walk a lot better than I was previously, this is down to Lucy and her professionalism don’t get me wrong I still have a way to go but I know with their help I’ll get their, I would strongly recommend these to anybody who needs a chiropractor.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend visiting this Chiropractors. I'd been suffering with Shoulder pain for around 4 to 6 weeks and decided to give them a visit. Best thing I did. I was booked in really quickly and Lucy explained everything in great detail what was going on. I'm only 4 sessions in and the pain has virtually gone and the movement is 100 times better in my shoulder. Still more to do to keep it moving but can't thank them enough and wish I'd have come sooner. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and made me feel comfortable as I was a bit nervous at first but best thing I did.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place, get yourself booked in! I was waking in pain for 6 months before deciding enough is enough, I need help. Dr's are a joke to get an appointment and they would probably recommend physio at a guess, but I felt like I needed popping like the fb videos that I see and as I had never been to a chiropractor before it was time, so I rang up these spinal professionals, reception staff was lovely and efficient. Got me in with Lucy pretty quickly and she's been great. My back pain is now almost gone, she's also been a star in relieving headaches and realigned my hips as an added bonus - I didn't even know I was wonky After my 1st treatment I noticed a huge difference 'surprisingly, I sprang out of bed' for the first time in months'l so I recommended to two of my friends and they are also benefiting from Lucy's expertise! I am sure Jay would be just as good mind you. So I am now 10 treatments in and I have found the acupuncture to be very helpful, aswell as the exercises given to compliment the treatment at home and the recommendation of ice packing the problem zone. Fantastic experience: Visited here today. Staff are always friendly and polite and make you feel welcome . I've seen Jay today as I always do with every appointment I have, and he always sorts any issues I have with my neck or back , I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Negative experience: Spends more time out of the room than in, price is reasonable if you don’t mind paying to be sat in a room on your own for half an hour of your appointment. Try jj soft tissue in west bridgeford for a much better and personal experience. Edit* I had three appointments, with jay. Out of the 3 appointments the area that needed treatment got worked on ONCE for 5 minutes. The rest was just talking and jay bouncing from room to room dealing with more than 1 client at a time.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say Lucy The chiropractor was absolutely fantastic . I have had pain in my neck for around 6 years after being in a head on collision at 80 miles a hour . Been to several physio practitioners over the years with no joy. Went to see Lucy and within three Consultations The pain in my neck felt so much better . Thank you every so much You are wonderful

Positive experience: Great little place, started with an X-ray to see what was happening with my back & Pelvis and then had few sessions a week to correct my twisted pelvis and get me back in line! Gotta be consistent with appointments & exercise for it to work, not a one off fix!!

Fantastic experience: I managed to book my first appointment within the week of enquiring about availability which was a good start. Came with dreadful lower back pain from playing a lot of football/ gym work. Had 3 sessions in total where my back pain cause was clearly identified and explained to me, along with exercises I could do to ease the pain. The actual treatment was also highly effective which has now caused my pain to be almost completely erased (after only 3 weeks)! Max was great with me as well, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I made the phone call to make an appointment then arriving and having my constant talk to me about my problem also giving me an X-ray and then leaving, the service was so professional and costumer care at its best. I highly recommend this practice. OH and the cost is lower than I imagine.

Negative experience: Hi, sadly extremely disappointed on every level. Saw Jay, several appts, x rays, felt worse So contacted Doctors who referred me to Physio. I mentioned via the telephone I had paid for x rays at Chiro, it was suggested to save Nhs time and funds I should I obtain a copy of my X rays as I had paid for them. Conveniently when it was agreed I could take screen shots of the X-rays Jay said only the one was taken and that was front view. This was not true as he showed me my formation of the spine on the back x Ray. Disappointed too in the level and standard of the treatments. Going from room to room mid way through appointments obv treating more than one person at a time. Shocking experience. Sorry

Negative experience: I've booked an appointment for my mom, I've paid 30 pounds to "secure,, the appointment. (I thought it was refundable) . I called back letting them know that I need to cancel the appointment (my mom was seen by another doctor and had a treatment now) they said no refund back. I understand this... but when the receptionist asked for deposit she should let me know the conditions. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Ruptured 2 disks in 2012, constant pain, lots of strong pain medication. Not any more, thanks to Jay. If you have experienced any of the same, go as soon as you can, it has changed my life, 60 but feel twenty years younger. This is not an expensive thing to do, Money well spent.

Fantastic experience: This place is brilliant and has been a life saver for me. Been in pain for 7 months after giving birth. Came here and the pain has nearly gone after less than a month of coming. I’ve been seeing Amy and would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered with my back for 40 years. I have had treatment from physio, NHS and various other treatments .Nine years ago I was recommended to visit Paul and I can honestly say, that man changed my life. I now go for maintenance every six weeks and life is good. Anyone that suffers with back pain knows how miserable it can make you feel but all I can say is give Hucknall Chiropractic a go and believe me you will not regret it. All the staff are a pleasure to know and Paul is one very respected gentleman..

Negative experience: Unprofessional!!! Called for an appointment and the lady I spoke to seemed to have a chip on her shoulder, very abrupt and uninterested. She booked me in for an appointment and was told she would send me an email with some forms to fill in. I never received the email. Emailed to ask for the forms and received an email to say no appointments available?? I then sent another email and had no reply. Since then I managed to get into to another chiropractor and safe to say he was wonderful!! AND the reception staff couldn't do enough for me!!

Negative experience: Called and managed to get booked in the same day, however 15 minutes later I received a call back and was told my appointment was cancelled and couldn't get in until the week later due to needing to allow more time for my appointment even though there was available appointments prior to mine. I'll go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Jay is very very professional and extremely knowledgeable. My personal experience. I spent 3 months in agony last year and with ever decreasing mobility and was given more and more painkillers ending up on tramadol by my GP. I was sent for physio as well and given useless exercisesz to no avail. When I first met Jay at the first consultation he x-rayed my spine and found I had been living with a dysfunctional SI joint a severe spinal curve and a compression fracture in the last vertebra of my spine. Over a period of 6 weeks he had me upright pain free off all pain killers and back to work laying patios fencing fitting windows all very physical work. I can’t give him a big enough thank you. Now I find myself in need of a bit of maintenance and he’s my first point of call when GP try’s the painkiller route again after a large landscaping job. This guy is amazing at what he does.

Fantastic experience: Excellent I came ten year ago with back problems , never had back problems since. I came around three month ago with disc problem in my neck I’ve now finished my course and feel wonderful. The receptionist are so welcoming. Fantastic experience: Jay is incredible my first time seeing a chiropractor and I was quite nervous. But after constant pain for two years and receiving inadequate information regarding my pain through nhs physio I was recommended to him by a colleague. I followed all advice by the nhs physio and just felt at a stand still with them although great at a starting point but now I wished I went straight to him. Anyway an x ray revealed my problems and he knows what can be done. I felt very comfortable with him I felt I was listened too and cared for. The reception staff also lovely. And handy parking too. Fantastic experience: I couldn't of asked for better care. My chiropractor Nick carried out a very thorough physical exam on my initial visit, followed by a once a week visit which I look forward to. Each time I attend everything is explained fully & a range of methods are used to see which I get the most relief from. I've been able to book appointments for every week & I'm reminded each morning by the lovely receptionist. I leave feeling relaxed & in less pain than I went in with, which is a win win for me. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility amongst other thing's & have lived everyday in pain for the last 11 years!! Nick helps me to feel in less pain than when i walked through the door. I would highly recommend 2 anyone looking for help. ☺

Fantastic experience: Great clinic, both myself and partner visit and have never felt better. Staff really friendly. One tip I can give is ask for Jay as you get longer 30-45 mins.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Jay Murray's for just over a year now & I'm so very grateful to him for his treatment, support, understanding & knowledge of my condition. Before I saw Jay my quality of life was pretty poor & consisted mainly of pottering around for a short while & then laying down with an ice pack & this was a daily repetitive routine! Now a year on after treatment & following Jay's advice, I feel like I have control of my life back & I no longer spend most of the day laying down, in fact I now attend 3 Aqua Aerobics classes per week & sometimes fit in an extra session or 2 of swimming or training in the gym, which I never thought would be possible! If you are thinking of seeing a Chiropractor, then I cannot recommend Jay & the staff at Hucknall Chiropractic Clinic enough.

Positive experience: I’m sad to say I was disappointed with my treatment here. After an initial thorough consultation, which left me feeling hopeful about the service I would receive, my subsequent two treatments left me feeling like I was on a cattle conveyor belt. Procedures weren’t explained to me in any great detail, nor was I given any time to ask questions after the procedure. My chiropractor said he’d give me exercises to help my issue, but I never received any more advice on this. I cancelled my subsequent appointments. I was contacted by the clinic after leaving this review and invited back to be treated again for no fee. Whilst I appreciated this gesture I decided against accepting the offer.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place. Staff all very friendly and professional. I was recommended by a friend to go and see if they could help me with my back pain which I had suffered with for many years and Jay did not disappoint me. He was so kind with all my problems and very knowledgeable. Pain tablets I had been taking for over 10 years he encouraged me to come off and now after 6 months of being treated by him I am nearly back pain free. I saw Jay the other day and I had a very sore shoulder with 20 minutes he had sorted my problem and I was 70% better within the next couple of days the pain had gone. Fantastic experience: After years of suffering with a bad back. I went Hucknall Chiropractic Clinc. The staff were very friendly and the chiropractor was really thorough. After a few visits I’m now pain free. I just visit once every 3 months just for maintenance. Wish I’d done it years ago.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this practice for about five and a half years firstly for a frozen shoulder and more recently for back and hip pain. Everyone involved in my care have been wonderful and reassuring and it is so easy to discuss any problems with the chiropractor who will then personalise the treatment specifically to suit you.

Negative experience: It's strange that as soon as a complaint is received about Salonie Ranat she suddenly receives 4 reviews full of praise for her skill and care. As she has never received any good reviews before it is obvious that these reviews are not genuine. Most likely they have been construed by her colleagues in an attempt to discredit the person who made a complaint against her. She is neither skilled nor caring and should not be in that profession. How she treated my mother in law and stress and upset she caused her whilst she has been suffering in pain is unfair. It doesn't even deserve 1 star!

Fantastic experience: After struggling for over a year with pain after falling down the stairs, a friend recommended Hucknall Chiropractic Cinic. Salonie was brilliant! She put me at ease straight away, explaining everything as she went along. I felt improvement from the very first treatment. I would highly recommend the clinic to anyone.

Negative experience: The therapist left me alone with acupuncture needled in my backside for a supposed 10 minutes. I was concerned when she didn't come back after the allotted time to take them out. .. I began to feel worried so I pressed the emergency buzzer she gave me but it didn't work. I then had to get up off the couch and walk to the door wearing my treatment gown and with acupuncture needles still intact and ask the receptionist to find her for me. She was in another room giving advice to somebody else. Is it too much to ask for her to concentrate on me during the half hour I've paid for her services? I feel I should not have been left alone with a broken buzzer for all that time and I should not have been subjected to the ordeal of having to go & find her myself. Also she shouldn't have tortured me by pressing so hard on my spine that I was in pain for 2 days afterwards. I did not consult her about my spine.. It was my thigh I had come for treatment on!

Negative experience: I wish I'd read Darryls review! After having back ache for two weeks diagnosed by the doctor as sciatica and Based on a previous experience 10 years ago with sciatica and subsequently a visit to a chiropractor in Derby who fixed it in one visit I decided to visit Hucknall Chiropractic clinic. They were very polite and got me in on the next day, great!, this unfortunately is where the happy experience ends. I was given a consultation with one of their team (this wasn't paul, who, you will notice ALL the good reviews are about) who confirmed I had a problem with my back after doing a series of stretchs, movements and an xray. After about an hour he told me I'd have to book another visit to start 'treatment' at £29, this is after paying £44 and nothing being done to help ease the pain. I was naive and believed that these people would perform an adjustment on my first visit like on my previous experience unfortunately this is not the case. It seems to me that they're more concerned on prolonging treatment and ensuring an income to their business than than they are to helping with their patients pain. If your after a fix expect to become a regular patient paying more than just the initial fee and don't make the mistake i did of thinking they are the answer. I'm still in pain and taking prescription medicine for it

Fantastic experience: In May 2016 I had major breast surgery, which resulted in me being in chronic pain. My surgeon tried everything to ease the pain but had not come across anything like this before, My next option was yet again to have major surgery to hopefully ease my pain. After 5 weeks I was at a loss of what to do, and with the surgeon also being at a loss my husband suggested seeing Paul (who I have seen on many occasions for various problems, not to mention my jaw!) Within 5 minutes Paul knew what the problem was, I was suffering from intercostal muscle damage. My first visit was painful but afterwards I felt so much better, I have just had my 5th visit and feel 100% better. Even my surgeon is impressed. I cannot thank Paul enough for not only seeing me before surgery in a morning but for his excellent treatment. I would highly recommend Hucknall Chiropractor to anyone any age. The staff are all very helpful in making you feel at home. Paul is excellent in spotting any problems you have and also in sorting them out, allowing you to leave the practice feeling so much better. He goes above and beyond his call of duty. Not forgetting Jay who is also a Chiropractor at the practice.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered with neck pain / discomfort for almost two decades following a whiplash injury. I had twice pursued treatment on the NHS before being told that they were unable to help further. Recently the pain had become more regular and so I followed advice of a colleague and made an appointment at Hucknall Chiropractic Clinic. Based on previous history I was hopeful rather than expectant of positive results. How wrong I had been. It is still early days with regard to my treatment but I have already noticed huge improvements - more movement / less pain. I cannot thank Paul and his team enough. I just wish I had made an appointment many years ago so that I could have benefited from a higher quality of life much sooner. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say that my experience with Paul and all his team has been a very positive one. I was nervous going at first because i knew i had several problems but Paul was very reassuring from the beginning and put me at ease. This was something i have put off doing for a very long time, i only wish i had gone there earlier as i feel so much better already!!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Hucknall Chiropractic Clinic are without doubt the friendliest and most helpful people you could ever hope to meet. They have always made time for me with my long standing injury, even Jay has given me extra time when I have been in considerable pain. He has even referred me to hospital when I was extremely bad. The service and price is brilliant and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks to Jay and his team, I am making more progress with them than any other treatment I have been offered by the doctors. Me and my mum both go regularly and we both recommend this clinic. I don't know how I would have coped without the treatment they have given me and I have complete faith and trust in them to get me to where I want to be. I give them my highest recommendation, as they are brilliant at what they do.

Negative experience: Shocked at the treatment I got here. I've had back pain for about a week so I booked myself in. The chiropractor tested every part of me, telling me I had several other problems and did absolutely nothing about my back pain or any other treatment. I was then booked in 10 days later to start treatment. Annoyed by this I booked myself in at an Osteopath in Bridgford for the following day who checked out my spine etc and cured the back pain in just the 1 visit. It would seem that Hucknall Chiropractic are more interested in extending treatments to make more money than curing your pains.

Fantastic experience: Hucknall Chiropractic are brilliant!!! The staff are very friendly, extremely skilled and provide an excellent, value for money service. They fixed my dodgy shoulder in no time at all. I would recommend them very highly.

Negative experience: I have contacted this clinic several times and been unfortunate to get voicemail. I have left a message requesting someone to get back to me regarding fee yet am still waiting on a call back.
