Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Harry for 3 sessions so far and I’m so happy with the service so far. I really felt listened to and after a year of physio doing nothing for me, I can already feel the improvements in my back after three sessions with Harry. Fantastic experience: I visited Notts Osteopathy this morning after recently developing acute back pain . I was seen by practitioner Ross who was very thorough and reassuring, after taking a history , doing an examination and identifying the possible issue ,he skillfullly manipulated the area and used deep muscle massage to ease symptoms . The relief was unbelievable , Ross then gave me a plan of action to follow to help manage the problem . Thank you Ross , I would have no hesitation in recommending this polite knowledgeable young man.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Alex by a work colleague. Following hip surgery I have struggled with a persistent limp. Alex has given me techniques to manage my limp and strengthen my spine and muscles. He has reassured me that it can take up to a year to stop limping fully. Fantastic experience: Moved to Nottingham in February this year with back, knee, leg aches and pain, not feeling stable when walking and slouching posture. Booked appointment with Alex online abd in my first session I walked out of there feeling balanced, sitting in my hips, legs pointing forward without pain, feeling like I had a back brace on as my posture was completely upright and NO pain at all, I can sit/lay down and get up pain-free, more relaxed shoulders. I almost skipped all the way homeand that was after session one. The excercise sheet Alex emailed over to me that night have kept me in check. Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience with Ross. He is very attentive and patient throughout the whole session. He always checks in to make sure I’m not feeling any discomfort or pain during the treatment. My wrist pain is now gone, and the discomfort in my lower back has improved a lot after seeing him. Ross also took the time to show me stretching exercises in detail, making sure I could continue progressing at home. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! I have had several appointments with Alex over the last 4 years or so. I first went with tight hip flexors that actually turned out to be from a misalignment in my spine. Every now and then it will pop back out due to a health issue so I go for a follow up. Each time I walk out standing and sitting up taller. The constant niggling pain that I used to ignore has gone and I no longer leave it to get worse. Alex has so much knowledge and it is clear in his practice that he takes great care of his clients. I would highly recommend him..

Fantastic experience: I’ve been very happy with Ross who helped sort out my back pain . After 5 sessions it’s nearly back to normal after nearly two years dealing with issues. I found him to be friendly and put me at ease right from the first meeting, he gave me good advice and exercises to do to get me back to normal well my back at least! . Fantastic experience: I came to see Alex with problems with my hip and shoulders, he quickly identified the issue and after the first session the pain in leg (cause by a problem with my hip) had gone. I went back for 3-4 sessions to really work on the area and honestly it's the best decision I have made. I would absolutely recommend Alex to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Alex is simply amazing. I am following his advice and exercise routine and my knees are not in the pain it used to be anymore. With his help I found out that my problem is actually coming from my spine and he's helping me fix it. He is very kind and resourceful and is not shy to share whatever he knows in his domain compared to other doctors I've seen in the past that were not helpful at all. All I was told in the past by various doctors is that I need to rest and go back when the pain is getting worse. Alex told me what is the root cause and how to work on fixing it. Fantastic experience: To cut a long story as short to get the important info across. Please read. I am not some one that feels comfortable having physical treatment. So much so that the accidents and problems I have had have basically gone untreated. I'm 56 and been through the mill! Leave that there. After months of building pain from having covid and past happenings, I eventually woke up and thought I had been attacked and my arm was broken. The pain was that bad. Doctors?- the highest pain medication possible.. didn't even touch the pain. I couldn't work. So out of necessity I searched for a near healer and found Notts Osteopathy. I ve had 5 weekly session with Craig and I'm out of pain.. don't get me wrong. Its not a walk in the park or a box of chocolates and certainly not a bed of roses!!!! Fantastic experience: I would recommend Alex at Notts Osteopathy to anyone. I can't rate him highly enough. He is knowledgeable, friendly and informative. He explains everything so you can understand what is occurring and how he can help. After getting nowhere for 5 years with the NHS, initially Alex manipulated my arm so I could get it behind my back. With an ultrasound he was able to see I had bursitis, but recommended I had an MRI scan, as there were obviously further issues. This has shown I now have 4 major problems which requires a full shoulder replacement. Had I continued with the countless exercises and cortisone injections on the NHS, I would not be in the position I am now, waiting for my op. I will be forever grateful to Alex and will miss my sessions with him.

The initial consultation was really thorough to identify mobility problems in my leg due to an old injury, and built up shoulder and neck problems from having a desk-based job. Fantastic experience: I have tried many osteopaths before and Notts Osteopathy is the best out there! I was discharged from QMC with crutches after a back injury when sliding on snow. I have visited various osteopath clinics but I did not see an improvement. I was still in pain and I could not come back to work, because of sciatica nerve inflammation and problems with walking. Then after a long search on internet I have booked a session in Notts Osteopathy and It was an instant pain relief after a first visit! Craig is very professional and knowledgeable osteopath who was working hard to get to the bottom of the problem. Within a few days, I was back at work and the the pain was gone. I will book more visits to work on my posture/movement but there was already massive improvement after the first visit so in my opinion The Notts Osteopathy is the best out there.

Fantastic experience: Bit of background detail first... I've seen several doctors and physiotherapists about my back and hip issues spanning the past couple of decades - yes, decades! They never managed to get to the bottom of it - a couple thought I was just making it up or imagining it but the pain was very real and debilitating at times so I knew that wasn't the whole story and it was getting worse. My luck changed when Alex was recommended to me by a close friend - she is a reflexologist and knew the extent of my issues as well as Alex's reputation. During my very first visit Alex put me at ease with his warm and genuine attitude, he listened to everything I'd got to say then asked questions about my background, work, lifestyle before examining me and pointing out four key areas that needed 'adjusting'. After working his magic I left feeling like I'd been given a new body - that's honestly the only way to put it! Seriously, after suffering on and off for so long the change he made in just over an hour was amazing. Alex also provided me with a set of exercises and aftercare notes to make sure I followed through after treatment - you need to make changes yourself if his work is to have full benefits but it is so worth it. I've now been back for three sessions over the past six weeks and I feel so much better that we've now decided my next appointment doesn't need to be as soon so I'm booked in for another in four weeks time. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing him on a regular basis in future for 'top-ups'. I can now get out of bed without worrying that the pain will put me on the floor, I can work for miles without the back-pain coming on and I feel so much better overall. If you have problems that nobody else seems to take seriously and you want someone who you can trust and who genuinely cares about his patients and the outcome of your visits then Alex is your man.

Fantastic experience: After struggling with lower back pain for quite some time my partner made an appointment for me to see Alex - I didn't think how much I'd benefit from 2/3 sessions with him. He's a pro; so natural in what he does. In addition to being an Osteo, he's also a PT which is especially great if the injury you're struggling with is sports-related. Alex explains things in a non-confusing way and even uses 3D tech to further demonstrate the cause of the pain. Fantastic experience: Today I saw Craig. He is amazing! Provided such a warm and professional approach to our session. Consultation was great. Treatment was painful to begin with as I have severe sciatica and other muscular skeletal issues. He talked through each process of the movements we were doing next and considerate of the pain I would feel. By the end of the session I had some pain relieved! Feel quite depressed with the pain I'm always in but after the session had finished I was smiling and laughing. Absolutely lovely clinic and look forward to returning for future appoints to rectify my pain issues and getting back to being able to function and walk properly without being in constant pain. Fantastic experience: Following a cycle of running injuries and back problems I decided to take professional advice. Having reviewed a number of osteopaths I decided to make an appointment with Alex at Notts Osteopathy. My initial consultation was a break through with Alex diagnosing the problem, having listened intently to my problems, and then explaining in layman’s terms not only why my back problems happened but also what needed to be done differently going forward. Throughout all my consultations Alex has used terminology easy to understand so I can self help with my recovery. He also set up a plan of stretching exercises that has helped me greatly. To date my back problems have eased greatly and with walking and stretching I am aiming to start running again in the near future, but in a different way which should aid recovery and prevent future problems. Alex has been very patient and understanding and I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of an excellent osteopath.

Fantastic experience: By the time I got to see Alex I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact I would be in pain and I have loss of sensation in my hands forever. I barely slept as I would get woken up with no sensation in my hands and have to move around to get it back again. I was miserable. I had tried so many things like Physiotherapy and medications but I found him and thought it was worth a go. Best decision I ever made! Alex not only gave me answers and explained my issues in a way I understood, but after my treatments I couldn’t actually believe I stopped losing the sensation in my hands, the neck and shoulder pain is easing off. I don’t say this lightly, it’s changing my life. Not only my physical well being but the negative impact it has had in my mental health has given way to feeling happier and more positive because now I know I don’t have to suffer, this isn’t forever and I have progressed so much more than I could have hoped. Fantastic experience: I went to Alex with lower back pain problems which had recently got a lot worse. After one session with him it was significantly better and I was extremely impressed. I was quite nervous at my first appointment as I’d not seen an osteopath before and was unsure what to expect, but Alex immediately put me at ease explaining what he does and how he does it. Fantastic experience: I visited Alex today with chronic anxiety and pain from a herniated disc and just about everything hurting in me, which anyone who suffers from anxiety will understand. I immediately felt relaxed with Alex’s caring and kind persona as he took my history. I put my trust in him and he didn’t disappoint and I felt safe, which again, is something so important for anyone suffering from anxiety . He very gently manipulated my sore body - again, because of the sensitivity around the disc this was perfect . When I got up to go home I noticed the difference in my body immediately and it felt more balanced and stable and not hurting as much. Wonderful. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Alex at Notts Osteopathy in February because I'd been suffering from bad headaches for 3 years. A brief history- I'd been diagnosed with Neuralgia. The consultants and physios that I'd previously seen had tried their best to help but nothing had worked. The GP had me on a range of very strong medication for the pain but again, nothing really worked. Acupuncture had been the only thing to provide some relief to the face and head but then I also started getting bad neck and shoulder pains. I booked an appointment to see Alex at Notts Osteopathy and thank goodness that I did! He is very professional and knowledgeable. Alex did an initial assessment and was able to identify the real, route causes of my pain. He then started treatment and provided me with some exercises to carry out at home for inbetween our sessions. I've had five sessions in total and I'd say I'm 50% better, which for someone who has been in debilitating pain for 3 years is really good progress! In fact, I'm even off the prescription medication. The treatment is not over yet, but I'm hopeful that with continuing the sessions with Alex and following his exercise programme at home I will one day soon be pain free.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended by my mum to visit Alex after I had numbness / pain in my right arm and shoulder and weakness in my knee. Fantastic experience: I went to see Alex after years of a painful ankle. I’d been told that it was wear and tear arthritis and it would get worse, which it had and I was having to take stronger pain killers. Then my lower back and shoulders developed problems too. It felt like seeing an Osteopath was my last resort and I wasn’t hopeful that it would make much difference. How wrong I was, after two treatment sessions the pain and inflammation has reduced, my walking has improved and I have been able to reduce my pain killer medication. Thank you Alex. Fantastic experience: I arrived at Notts Osteopath with really bad backache and a stiff neck. Alex was most welcoming and I left pain free. I had a few more sessions of complete relaxation and finished my sessions with not only a way forward plan at home, but assurance of a maintenance session should I feel I need it. Fantastic experience: Alex came recommended to me by my partner. I had my first consultation this week and first impressions count. He is very professional, attentive, knowledgeable and thorough. I thought I was was suffering with lower back pain, however it turns out to be my SI joint causing the problem. This turned out to be a mis-diagnosed ice hockey injury from 10 years back. I was treated by someone else for a groin injury. He asked lots of questions before starting a physical examination. Then sports massage, chiropractic clicks and physio style movements to reset the joint. He has helped diagnose the cause of the current pain, so I can prevent further damage and sent me daily exercises to help with keeping the movement. Yesterday I was totally pain free and the difference in movement in that joint is remarkable. I've already re-booked a follow up appointment. Thank you Alex.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered from hip pain for just over a year and, although I have tried different forms of treatment, the pain has not decreased much. In fact it got worst during the last couple of months. That is when I finally decided to book an osteopathic appointment with Alex. After a programme of personalised stretches that I do at home, I am really happy about the improvements that I have achieved in such a short time - my muscles feel looser, more flexible and I have not experienced any major discomfort since my last follow up with Alex. Fantastic experience: After putting off treatment for a hip, back and neck problem for more than 9 years things finally got so bad that I thought I'd give osteopathy a go. I went to Alex after a recommendation from a friend and despite it being a journey to get to him the great reviews made me hopeful that it would be worth the journey. Despite it being in the midst of the pandemic I still felt a warm friendly welcome on my first visit and felt safe at all times . Alex was fantastic at listening, getting relevant information and explaining his findings in detail without being patronising . After the first visit my neck felt more free than it has for years and my hip pain was noticeably reduced. After a few more treatments I was pain free for the first time in nearly a decade and able to walk with my family and wake in a morning without excruciating pain. Fantastic experience: After struggling with back problems for over 2 years and receiving several different treatments it wasn’t until a friend recommended Alex to me that I began to see improvements! He began by getting to know my day to day life and what causes me problems, He then moved onto what he believed were the problem areas and explained why I was suffering. Fantastic experience: I injured my shoulder earlier in the year, this started off as a little niggle that got progressively worse to a point where I struggle to both lift anything and do the sports I love. Fantastic experience: My husband booked me in with Alex as I was having sharp pains in my lower back and problems with my neck/shoulders - most likely due to my job and having a toddler.
