Fantastic experience: I have been going to Hands on Health for a while now and can say what an exceptional service I have received. As I walk in, I feel welcomed by the staff. When I first came in, I used to have a lot of neck stiffness and a hunched back as well as having poor posture. Dr Joe is my chiropractor and he has managed to help me both physically and mentally. I am able to move my neck a lot more freely and I no longer have a stiff hunched back. My mindset has changed completely because when I notice my posture dropping, I correct it. I used to suffer from headaches as well and get them at least once a week or once every two weeks but since my treatment I cannot remember the last time I had a headache. I also have asthma as well and used to use my inhaler two to three times a week but I have not used my inhaler for a few months and my asthma has been well controlled. Finally, thanks to everyone at Hands on Health for providing such a quality service and I would highly, HIGHLY recommend. It has had a positive impact on my life and if anyone else has similar issues definitely consider going to Hands on Health.

Fantastic experience: From the very first day I came to Hands on Health, I was treated exceptionally well. The reception staff are outstanding—welcoming, friendly, and always making me feel more like a friend than a patient. I initially saw Adam, a sports therapist specializing in sports massage. While the massages were intense and occasionally painful, they were incredibly effective. Adam helped me get rid of persistent pain in my legs, shoulder, and back. However, we both agreed that additional steps were needed for me to feel 100%. Adam suggested I see his colleague, chiropractor Dr. Joe, for further treatment. After an assessment with Dr. Joe, we developed a comprehensive action plan to help my body feel better and function optimally. Over the course of about two months, I finally got rid of that nagging leg and back pain, and my entire body began functioning so much better. What truly amazed me, though, was something I never thought possible: I got rid of the severe, three-day-long headaches that had plagued me for years. When Dr. Joe mentioned during my initial assessment that he could help with my headaches, I was skeptical and assumed he was just being optimistic, but he was absolutely right. Thank you for giving me my life back!

Fantastic experience: Been seeing Dr Joe for about 8 weeks because of back pain, hes very informative and within a few weeks my back felt much better. I also have been suffering with migrains at least twice a week since i was 5, and Joes explain how chiropractic can help. I can say after 8 weeks, i get maybe one every 2 weeks and the severtiy is no where near what it used to be. I highly reccomend visiting and getting a consultation.

I suffered with tinnitus and omg Dr Joe and Dr Will were god sent.After few visits I was able to return to my normal life.I have had back issues for years from bad posture ect. having daily struggles to do certain things in my daily life and now my movements have improved massively.All staff is friendly and professional.Everything is explained simply and in detail.I loved that they offer x-ray which clearly shows where the problems arrises and puts your mind at ease by seeing it yourself on x-ray pictures. Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Will for 2 years and cannot recommend him enough. I started going for treatment as sitting down was becoming uncomfortable and I was unable to lift my leg very far off the ground. Getting in and out of cars was difficult as I could not raise and rotate that leg at all without using my hands. Following the initial treatments I was pain free and mobile again. I now just visit for a monthly maintenance on my hip and back. I've also had a lot of bad issues at home and Dr Will is a great listener so I would say sessions are a stress release as well. Thank you Dr Will and reception staff for being there. Had you not supported me with your work and friendly demeanour I would be in a worse place mentally and physically.

Fantastic experience: I have been get lots pain on my upper back neck and lower back for sometimes and recently I got a shooting pain at my hip when I sit or move around with certain positions. From Google I found hands on health chiropractor was at top of list in Nottingham. Telling myself give it a try I went to see Dr Joe who is very experienced and explained why I am getting pain and how he can treat me for better, after I had 5 treatments I felt so much better already, I was walk all day at Alton tower and other activities over the weekend, also took long flight back to my country, I didn’t feel any pain at all only little tightness at low back, I am looking forward to my next appointment. Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Hands on health for many years, I can’t thank the team enough. I have seen both Dr Will and Dr Joe. I have recently received shock wave treatment from Joe for my plantar fasciitis. Prior to my treatment I couldn’t walk bare foot. The treatment has helped me so much and I am nearly pain free.and can now walk bare foot. I also had shock wave treatment for my frozen shoulder a few years ago. Dr Joe helped me so much with my shoulder giving me a regular sports massage to get movement back in my shoulder. The skills and knowledge from Dr Joe and Dr Will is excellent. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Joe for 3 months. After analysing my x-rays after my initial visit, he explained thoroughly how my body was adapting to periods of stress which have been causing lots of back and neck pain for years. After the initial consultation, I had two appointments per week, this has really helped my headaches, back and neck pain and I'm moving so much better. Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend HoH enough. I had major problems with my lower back which had severely limited my movement and had eventually stopped me from working. Went to see Dr Joe who is an exceptional practitioner. The first session included an initial assessment and X-rays to investigate what the exact problem was. Coupled with this were some corrections which relieved the pain in my back and got me mobile again. Since then I have been having weekly appointments and it’s safe to say my back is not just better but I have improved in my posture and it has aided my training (running and gym). Joe is a very friendly person who is very knowledgeable and professional. The emphasis is on personalised recovery they’re not just putting you through the process. Fantastic experience: Had had trauma injuries to my back, neck, shoulder resulting from an RTA in Vietnam. Then being hospitalised for a month in a Vietnam hospital I was still in a bad way after being repatriated. Seeking care from the NHS was not forthcoming, therefore I thought I would give Hands on Health a call on the Ropewalk. A consultation with Joe was arranged. After 2 months of weekly treatment, I can't begin to say how much I've improved. Gaining full use of my arm and now walking with no discomfort. The practice is friendly and professional. Fantastic experience: Just before Christmas I went from struggling to put on my own socks to being back to full flexibility, all thanks to the knowledge and expertise of Dr Joe. He started off with an in-depth talk of the steps we would do, then an x-ray of the problem area with a detailed explanation of exactly where the trouble was coming from. Fantastic experience: Initially I visited this clinic for sports massage over a year ago, which was excellent. I have also received shock wave therapy which helped to alleviate stiffness and soreness in my shoulder which had become badly inflamed. I had a free chiropractic back assessment today for another issue, and was again struck by the warm friendly welcome at the practice and the knowledge and professionalism of Dr Joe. Negative experience: After seven sessions with Dr Will in late 2022, my pain has worsened and most mornings I wake up with stiffness in my neck and shoulders. I’d assumed seeing someone qualified to give spinal adjustment to the public, the help I’d receive would have been very tailored to me, but he gave me minimal advice and would tell me I’d need one or two more adjustments, which I was told every session. However, during the sessions, I was made to feel as though he wanted me in and out as quickly as possible. I have now sought help from a sports massage therapist, a physio, an osteopath and a doctor in order to try and help relieve my pain, which was nowhere near this bad before I went to Hands on Health and wasn’t in such a large area. I am a healthy, active 25 year old who has never had any long-term physical pain or issues and, since having the chiropractic adjustments with Dr Will and being in the pain I am in daily, I fear I will have this problem long-term. I highly recommend not visiting Hands on Health unless you want to be in tremendous pain every day and have your issue worsen. I’ve never regretted anything so much because of how this new pain I developed after coming here is affecting my life every day.

Fantastic experience: I’ll tell you my story briefly, I was involved in Boxing for a long time in the past and I had problems with the cervical spine, I experienced pain and various kinds of symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, shakiness in gait, and much more, and all this lasted since 2009, I traveled to different countries to different specialists and spent a fortune in treatment, but I met Joe when he was still working in the massage industry where he helped me solve my neck and back pain, but after Joe completed his long training as a chiropractor and we began to work on my neck and back pain problem, and after two months of Joe working on my problem, I feel much better than very grateful to Joe as a specialist and a good person and ultimately a friend. Fantastic experience: I first went to Hands On Health back in February of this year, when my lower back pain got so bad that even rolling over in bed or getting up from the sofa would hurt. Dr Joe is very knowledgeable and could tell me what was wrong just from feeling my spine. He is very sociable and instantly made me feel comfortable at my first appointment. Fantastic experience: I thought I would share this amazing experience that I had whilst doing my treatment with Joe. I first called HandsOnHealth as I had a severe back pain, lower back and neck's nerves were badly swollen. I couldn't be on my feet or walk on my own, I couldn't even have my spine straight at all, painkillers didn't help, no position was comfortable- the situation was bad. 1st session I had a full assessment done with x-ray of my spine, and it was clearly visible that my back was screaming for help! Only with 3 weeks after seeing Joe I was pain free, my back was unbelievably better, I could see and feel the positive progress as the sessions happened. Thanks to Joe I became independent again, now I can have control of my body movements and also have my life back. What I like about Joe is that he does different techniques and explains the "whys" as well as what are the next-steps plan! Highly recommend using chiropractic sessions as prevention method rather than wait until things are bad. Been having major lower back problems for quite some time but Dr Will eliminated my pain completely in under 5 minutes. He's the man with magic hands I'm telling you. Also the sports massage therapist I think her name is Jemma. Absolutely incredible too.
