Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Lois at Restored Eden highly enough! My 12-year-old daughter had been struggling with knee and back pain, and after just two sessions with Lois, she’s completely pain-free. From the start, the booking process was straightforward and Lois was so accommodating with scheduling. What really impressed me was how Lois took the time during the first session to talk with my daughter and really understand where the pain was coming from. She had her do various stretches and exercises to properly diagnose the issue, which actually turned out to be originating in her thigh rather than where she was feeling the pain. Lois worked systematically - first on her thigh, then her knee, then her back. She explained that she’d finished the work on the thigh but needed another session for the knee and back, which I really appreciated - no rushing through or trying to do too much at once. The second session focused on her back and knee, and Lois’s technique is genuinely impressive. You could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and could feel when she’d released the tension. She was also brilliant at putting my daughter at ease throughout - friendly and professional. It’s now been about three weeks since the second session and my daughter hasn’t had any of the pain she was dealing with before. Lois clearly knows her stuff and takes the time to understand each person’s individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Fantastic experience: Four weeks ago I pulled a muscle while getting dressed and was in a lot of pain for that morning. By the end of the day I was able to get around ok but was in pain for the next 3 weeks but getting better. I wasn't sleeping hardly though as I couldn't get comfortable. Last week my daughter recommended Lois Dolman to give me a massage. By today I was back to sleeping better and the pain had almost gone. So I didn't think I needed physiotherapy. My goodness I was so pleased I kept the appointment...after assessing me Lois gave me a massage (never in my 68 years have I had one before) and I just felt so much better in myself afterwards, I was able to move around better and felt lighter. Thank you so very much Lois...you are a miracle worker. Starting to feel a little stiff now as you said I might right after the treatment, and hoping that will wear off soon. I will update you. I came in with my daughter cause she has severe shoulder pain that had been bothering me for a week and I’m honestly amazed at how quickly the physiotherapist helped her heal. From the first session, they were patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was causing the pain. In my daughter’s case she had so much lactic acid. The treatment was gentle but effective, and my daughter and I noticed improvement almost immediately. Within just a couple of sessions, her shoulder felt stronger, the pain decreased dramatically, and she could move freely again. If you’re looking for a physiotherapist who genuinely cares and delivers fast, noticeable results, I highly recommend them. Truly a life-saver!

Fantastic experience: Masterful work by Lois, I use my hands for work and moreso for my craft in my downtime. As a blacksmith, over excretion of your striking arm can cause rips, strains and tears even with proper technique. After a number of months of ignoring the niggling pain in my hands I was unable to clench my fist let alone hold a hammer due to an "abnormal" build up of lactic acid in my hands coupled with the tightening of tendons around the thumb. Lois quickly located the problem areas and after 1 session I had regained complete use of my hands again. I would highly recommend Lois to anyone in need of a consultation and the professional treatments she has to offer. Very knowledgeable physiotherapist!

Fantastic experience: For the last 6 months I have been attending a Pilates session at the Quays, which Lois runs (a really excellent class), when one day she started talking in the class about arthritis on the knee and how strengthening muscles around the knee can really help. As a person who has had knee problems for 20 plus years I have always felt that there was no hope for improvement. So following the class I was inspired to book a physio session with Lois, with low expectations that anything could be done… how wrong could I be! Lois was the first physio I’ve ever seen who is looking at my body as a whole to try and help my knee and remarkably after 3 session and diligently following the exercise programme my knee is feeling better than it has done for years! Fantastic experience: I had a shoulder issue that was very painful and prevented me from raising my arm. I had a deep tissue massage along with some physiotherapy for a one hour session. Very professional service and by the end of the day I had full movement back in my shoulder. This lady has healing hands.

After 45 minutes of stretching and massage, I feel much better and can move a lot more freely. As well as the treatment, a stretching plan was set up and other activities to help with the issues. Fantastic experience: Really impressed with Restored Eden. Due to an knee injury I sustained whilst hiking, I was unable to train or do any fitness and had pain walking. Lois’ assessment was professional, and thorough. She effectively identified the issue and gave me the right exercises to treat and correct imbalances there and then.
