The treatment was initially for back/shoulder pain that I’d been experiencing for several weeks along my with increasing headaches. I also suffer from arthritis in my neck. Fantastic experience: I went to Life Effect Chiropractic after speaking to someone in the gym. I was in a road traffic accident around 7 years ago and have had pain and stiffness ever since with my neck, back and hips. I have had two appointments to talk about my issues and two appointments for adjusting and I can honestly say I feel so much lighter and so much better. Even though I was hesitant about how they could help, I am glad I listened and took advice as even after two appointments I am feeling a lot better. The staff are so welcoming and very caring. Definitely worth a visit even if you are hesitant.

Fantastic experience: I had a long term rotator cuff injury, that restricted some right arm movement. Stiff neck, slight lower back pain for ages. I went with my wife for her second visit was so impressed with what they told her, and the treatment, I made an appointment myself. My x-ray showed some things going on, but the treatment and exercise has been really helpful, and feel so good after each visit. All members of staff are helpful and you feel like part of the family. I could go on but just try the consultation (if you feel you need one) and see for yourself.

As a truck driver, I used to have a lot of lower back problems, but after the treatments they completely disappeared. Even during long-distance drives, the pain no longer comes back. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend enough...I was terrified to attend the consultation after decades of fearing the idea of a chiropractor. But in a period of desperation I booked the consultation and I'm so glad I did. Having X-rays is so insightful, the team are so knowledgeable and are nicer than any medical professionals you'll have met to date. With their support I've gone from not even wanting to lay on the bed, to now looking forward to sessions. Physically and mentally its been the best thing I've ever done for myself. Its amazing value for what you get out of it and your body really will thank you for it. The southampton team are brilliant, you'll be in the safest hands and have the peace of mind that they know exactly what they're doing and why, vs. other things I've tried where people are trying to guess what's happening based on symptoms alone and not really knowing. Fantastic experience: After suffering a back injury and 8 days in hospital it was clear that all the help I would get was pain relief. So on recommendation I went to life effect on my first day i was using a NHS walker. I was led on my back in the waiting room unable to sit up without severe pain. I’m now on my fifth week of treatment and the improvement is massive I’m doing gardening, I’m able to ride my motorbike and can climb the stairs no problem. Fantastic experience: After being fobbed off by GP surgery for years in agonising pain, stopping Gym, & not being able to Run anymore, severely impacting my mental health. I turned up to Life Affects expecting nothing. I was wrong. The initial appointment , was the first time I was listened to and properly checked out. I was examined, and my pain was validated. I have been coming for a few weeks now, and the improvements have been genuinely insane. I have a-lot more movement, toilet \ menstrual issues have improved , mirgaines have gone from a few each week to once in a couple weeks and the pain is less frequent and less severe. It’s a marathon not a sprint and we still have some way to go. The staff explain every process and every step in detail, every single staff member remembers your name, your face. Interactions are genuine and it’s the small touches, like saying”I'm just going to place my hand here to do this, would this be okay?” “how was your weekend, did you find that outfit” that make all the difference. Honestly, the price of private treatment can be off putting, but when you are getting this service and actually have tests, xrays and validation to how you feel , it’s so worth it. You cant put a price on health.

Fantastic experience: I had upper back pain for more than a year. I tried almost everything, from pain meds, relaxants, cupping, accupuncture and massages. Ive had scans and physios. I was at a point where the pain was on me the moment i wake up. Ive missed work and doing sports because i just couldnt move. It was debilitating. Fantastic experience: From the moment of my first consultation with Dr Isaac through to an initial adjustment with Dr Alex and then my twice weekly adjustment with Dr Jamie. Plus periodic assessments. All initial treatment over 60 days. I’ve seen such amazing results. From playing 40 years of sport to finding that all stopped because I could hardly walk after driving. Had terrible headaches and severe pain in both knees. I thought all this was because I was 63 years old and it was my lot. I’ve been so amazed and impressed with the care that this practice has allowed for me. I’ve found the headaches have gone, I’ve much more mobility in my neck and my knees no longer hold me back from playing sport. I couldn’t thank Life Effect from front of house to Dr Isaac, Dr Alex, Dr Tom and Dr Jamie for helping me so much in getting back to all the activities I enjoy. I cannot rate them all highly enough. I’ve been so impressed with my results that I have now decided to continue on a weekly programme and my goodness I’m appreciative as it allows me to continue with my daily sports and classes and increased mobility in my back, neck and knees.

Positive experience: Started well ,with good communication and some improvements. 1500 pounds later I decided that my time with life effect chiropractic clinic has to come to an end . There are many reasons for this decision. The team that I met at the Southampton clinic are good . It is a business model that I believe and hope works well for them . Despite some improvements I decided to stop going to the clinic. The sessions are short some assessments and 4 -5 adjustments. Because of this I think frequency is key . Increasing the frequency of the appointments means a bigger economical investment. If I was comfortably able to attend sessions often enough to see consistent improvements I would carry on attending ...unfortunately I am not. The exercises that we meant to do at home given by the Chiropractor are inconsistent, they expire after 12 weeks and there is no feedback from the team .

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful and friendly team. Had issues with my back and only recently started with my appointments and such a difference with daily tasks and working. The lovely Georgia on reception helps me with looking at appointments which doesnt affect my work schedule and meeting Dr Beth and Dr Stephen, They both are so welcoming and made me feel comfortable with every appointment and step with my treatment.

Fantastic experience: This place can help you the most unexpected way! I went there to check my hip misalignment which I thought to have inherited from my mother, but it was adjusted the very first month. The regular visit made me feel better after long hours sitting in front of my PC. My back and body felt relaxed, and I could see a hidden benefit: my period pain was gone! No more feeling of cramps and puffiness the week before, no more severe sufferance in the office (faking smiles to the situation)- this was all gone. With regular visits I have changed my nervous system… They have changed it- adjusted for me. I am not interrupting now the treatments - prevention is better than cure. Cigna also covers the visits, so why not?! :)

So I thought let’s do it, what have I got to lose. Well what can I say, they were so so helpful, warm and they listen to me! My hope was back! Went back after my initial visit to get my results and a plan of how they could help, went and had an Adjustment there and then and OMG I wasn’t in pain for the rest of that day! I actually couldn’t believe that dull pain I’ve had for 10years plus….gone! Don’t get me wrong started to come back after day 2. I have just been for another adjustment and pain has eased again. Fantastic experience: Started going to life effect a month ago and the changes I’ve seen in my body are great. I’m not waking up with pain any longer and any pain I did have before on a daily bases has gone to only being temporary. Best decision I’ve made health wise was going to Life Effect. Huge thanks to Adam for talking to me about the promotion they were running at the time. He’s a fantastic guy with great energy and his warm and friendly vibe convinced me to at the least go for the initial consultation.

Positive experience: Sessions are quick, usually less than 5 minutes and cost about £35. I would recommend trying a few sessions first, DO NOT pay for lots of sessions all at once because they are not for everyone, although when I went they did not offer the option for pay as you go. Staff are friendly and it is very easy to reschedule. Quality of the session does depend on who is doing it, some people are quite gentle, some are much more vigorous.

Fantastic experience: Having been on crutches with a bad knee.for over 7 years I thought i would give chiro a try especially as Facebook "helpfully" suggested Life-Effect's great value FB offer. I can honestly say the only regret I have is not trying chiro adjustments years ago! I can't believe the improvements I've already had from just a few treatments - I stand taller, get less breathless and can easily further without my crutches already. I have got feeling back in part of my leg which has been numb for over 20 years! I've even signed up for a 500k step challenge over the next 3 months! Both Dr Beth and Dr Stephen are so friendly and take great care to explain what they will be doing and why. All the reception team are welcoming too and I really look forward to my visits to see all the staff as well as have the instant "ready brek" glow after each adjustment. Fantastic experience: I went to Life Effect because I was suffering with daily headaches and frequent migraines. Initially I was going twice a week and it made a difference quicker than I expected, my neck has more mobility and flexibility and in turn my headaches have decreased and I haven't suffered with a migraine for two months now. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic people from the reception team to the fantastic doctors. I’ve suffered with problems in my back and neck for over 20 years and have had physio and acupuncture they have worked but only for a short time. Since I’ve been attending the life effect clinic in Southampton I feel like a new person I play golf and was struggling to get around the course but since I’ve been attending the clinic it’s like a walk in the park. Fantastic experience: Having suffered from a bad back for the first in my 62 years I was at my wits end. I had trie d various over the counter lotions and treatments thinking it was a muscular issue. Sadly not, but promptly taken X-rays diagnosed the cause and I'm now undergoing twice weekly back manipulation sessions. All the team are very friendly, polite, attentive and caring. Treatment by the Drs has been great and since starting treatment over 7 months ago I have seen a great improvement in my issues. They diagnosed more problems than I was aware of. I can now walk with ease and for long distances now. I would highly recommend the team for the care they give.

Fantastic experience: From the initial consultation to the weekly appointments, the staff at Life Effect have gone above and beyond to ensure I am fully informed of my own personal journey and what to expect. I was sceptical as to whether I could benefit from chiropractic care after a 18 year old injury… I now FEEL like my body is benefitting immensely from the adjustments I have received. I have never felt more comfortable physically than I do now and that for me at 34 is life changing. No longer waking up feeling old and on the decline! The ladies in reception are the most genuine and interpersonal people around. They even offer an in house babysitting service (well… look after my daughter whilst I am being adjusted ) Considering I HATE the sound of clicking, I look forward to the appointments and my fear of ‘bones cracking’ is gone… who knew it was just gas! Not only have the adjustment been a life saver and I've been able to do things that I didn't think I would be able to do again. The staff are amazing. Fantastic experience: Sounds so over dramatic but they really have changed my life, both physically and mentally. In a relatively short time I've gone from relentless chronic neck and back pain to rarely having to take pain killers at all any more. I can enjoy going out and doing normal things without the constant fear that I'll not be able to cope. Worth every penny.

The reception having Joline and Adam are welcoming, amazing with customer service and very accommodating when I needed my appointments changed. The Doctors are very knowledgeable and listen to all patients needs and concerns. I suffered with migrenes and persistent headaches for years. Since I started coming to the clinic early this year, I had 0 migerenes and maybe 2 or 3 headaches in the last 6 months! Massive improvement on my life. I would recommend the clinic to everyone! Fantastic experience: From the very first moment, everyone at Life Effect makes you feel welcome and cared for. 2 years after a back injury, I was still in pain, had a very reduced mobility, and my only form of activity was light walks. A few months ago I was able to start lifting again, and the pain has been reduced almost completely. My only regret is not looking for a chiropractor way before, I’d be lifting heavier now ;) Would definitely recommend as it’s a great option for pain reduction while increasing quality of life.

Fantastic experience: I only started having appointments for prevention of issues rather than cure, and have now started sleeping throughout every night after nearly a decade of sleeping problems. Fantastic experience: I started treatment with Life Effect around two months ago; sessions twice a week. Given that i have a degenerative spinal condition, i was extremely sceptical that the treatment would have any impact at all. Two months on; i have gone from sleeping three hours per night to seven, my migraines are reduced by around ninety percent, i did not even notice that i no longer experience sciatic pain due to the fact i was so blown away by the vast improvement in my neck and back. I spent around four years in agony - the GPs and various medicines had little impact & introduced wider problems; going to Life Effect was my last throw of the dice, and it has been incredible! My only regret is that i did not do this years ago! The team are all so friendly and helpful - from the front desk to the practitioners themselves; everyone is awesome. Highly recommend - i am so thankful for my treatments with Life Effect.

Fantastic experience: As a sceptic I have been astonished at how much difference seeing a chiropractor has made. This team have been supportive and encouraging in sorting my back pain out. Regular appointments meant that being seen is affordable, Luke has talked me through every step of the way and reassured me. When I think that at Christmas I could hardly walk and now I am back walking miles both for professionally and personally. Fantastic experience: From the minute I walked, or should I say shuffled, into Life Effects Chiropractic clinic using my walker I just knew my life was going to change. The clinic and everyone who works there just ooze positivity. For the last 17 years, since botched foot surgery, I have had constant pain. Initially in my foot and leg but after years of walking with an awkward gait it had a knock on effect and I had constant pain everywhere. 8 strong painkillers a day, trouble with my digestion, headaches etc. After my consultation and X-rays I was told that it may take a while but there would definitely be significant improvements. Oh boy, what an understatement! A few short months on and I walk into the clinic, without the walker, I haven’t taken painkillers for weeks, I sleep SO much better, I can get comfortable in bed, it’s bliss. Now I can exercise more and I’m losing weight. Really feel that my life is on the up. The lovely welcome from the wonderful girls on reception is something I look forward to every time and the ‘magicians’ who do the adjustments in the blink of an eye are pretty wonderful too. I think the most important thing to say is that from the minute you put yourself in their hands at Life Effects you have a whole team of lovely people who, genuinely, CARE about you.
