Fantastic experience: I have recently started to receive treatment from Alpha Physiotherapy for a very painful hip injury My therapist is a Miss Lauren Ashby I cannot recommend Alpha and Miss Ashby highly enough She is professional , courteous, friendly and caring I am already feeling the benefits of my treatment and am absolutely confident that with Lauren’s ongoing help my injury will be completely healed

Fantastic experience: I had a protruding/ bulging disc in my back and have been using the physio to recover and the service has been excellent, even after the 1st hands on physio session there was a big improvement (after a day’s recovery). They are really helping me on the road to recovery.

Fantastic experience: Eddie has been helping me loads with my Plantar Fasciitis. I read lots of conflicting information on Facebook and YouTube, but trust that the information Eddie gives me is correct as he really knows a lot about the condition and proper treatments, exercises and methods (taping and insoles) that will hopefully help me to overcome my issue. I do have days where my feet are in more pain than others, but overall, I think there is a definite improvement. I know this will take a long time to heal but hopefully after the shockwave therapy, and with persistent exercises and taping etc, things will get better. Eddie is professional, while also being friendly and easy to talk to. He answers any silly questions I put to him about my feet. I really appreciate his help and advice.

Fantastic experience: Acquaintances who play sport said how good the Alpha team are. I have tried other physios/osteos that were more convenient for me and they were ok, but decided to try Alpha for a few issues to try to achieve greater resolution. It has definitely been worth it. From the start and through several issues, they have been very thorough. Professional and friendly, but most importantly, identified the problem, explained it, recommended a course of treatment (which was successful) and gave me a programme of exercises to reduce the risk of recurrence of the original issues. I have a better understanding of the issues and how I might keep on top of things. I can thoroughly recommend Alpha. I won't hesitate to return with any problems that I think they might help with.

Fantastic experience: I phoned Alpha Physio in January after I encountered issues with a knee injury I had during football. This pain left me unable to walk properly for a few days so I knew something was wrong and didn't want to go through the laboursome process of the NHS. I had a 1hr initial session to diagnose the issue and subsequently attended pay as you go sessions with Lauren that was due to end on 13th March. Unfortunately, having played football during my strengthening programme I encountered the same issue again (my own fault!) to which Lauren and Eddie came to the rescue. I was really impressed with how they handled this at the time, ensuring I was patched up enough to enjoy a holiday i had booked! The treatment and service is well worth the money with programmes built to get you back to sport/mobility. If you stick to the plan and listen to their advice you'll see huge improvements in no time. Lauren is great at answering any questions you have and takes the time to show you the correct form for your programmes. For reference, I'm a 26 year old male. This was my first knee injury and I was initially fairly hesitant to pay the services required for physio but I can assure you I have no regrets. My knee is in a significantly better condition and this is down to the professionalism of Lauren and the team. In an ideal world I hope I won't need these services again, but If I do need them, I will certainly be back. Trust the process.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Henry and all the lovely staff at Alpha! 5 weeks out from my first Marathon and some tendons in my ankle got really angry with me. Alpha saw me the same day as my first call and Henry came up with a plan to get me to the start line. Its now the day before my Marathon and my ankle feels brand new. As Henry is also running a Marathon tomorrow, ive had some great advice during my appointments - Top Man! Good luck for tomorrow Henry!

Fantastic experience: Getting an injury is always just a bit meh. But the team at Alpha are genuinely the best about. I’ve had numerous treatments with Jimmy and Lynds over the years, and every time they are able to find the problem, produce a detailed plan of recovery and take away all anxiety and uncertainty with an injury. The latest, a big impact injury, inclusive of a calf tear. Henry took the lead on this one, and what a genuinely talented, personable and knowledgeable physiotherapist. He’s not only painted the picture clear, and provided an excellent plan, but the recovery has been through the roof. I’ve gone from a calf that was triple the size, and black and blue from bruising, to back to a good degree of exercise in just a month. I genuinely wouldn’t want to go anywhere else with an injury. A brilliant, family run business, with the staff as outstanding as their treatment and care of patients.

Fantastic experience: I went to Alpha Physiotherapy in December after developing knee pain that even hurt to walk, let alone run, and this was days after I'd signed up for my first half marathon! My appointment was with Lauren, and she took her time going over any issues I'd had previously, carrying out various tests and she really listened to any concerns I raised. She suspected the problem was tendonitis and talked me through a treatment plan of exercises and shockwave therapy. She also treated my tight calves and an ongoing problem with the other knee. At every session, she checked my progress and always put me at ease. I'm delighted to say that with the treatment I've received, and listening to Lauren's advice, I successfully completed my first half marathon yesterday, 3 minutes quicker than my anticipated time! Fantastic experience: I have been going to Alpha physio for about 18 months now After surgery on a broken elbow, Lyndsey has been with me every step on the way to my recovery she has always been so kind and considerate , Lyndsey always explained to me in detail about what she would do to help my arm return to full use, about the healing process and giving me instructions in detail for exercises for me to do at home between sessions, because of this i felt confident to do this and i was soon in a good routine with my exercises, My elbow is massively better than it was after the operation! Fantastic experience: I came for an appointment with Lauren after having an on/off issue with my lower back since April I felt listened to and comfortable from the minute I walked in and she was nothing short of professional and making sure I was okay throughout yet we still chatted and had a laugh and it felt really relaxed! My back feels 100% better from seeing her and the exercises I was given to do at home yet I will be taking her advice and having regular sports massages given my routine and exercise regimen I recommend Lauren without a shadow of a doubt :)

Fantastic experience: I wholeheartedly recommend Alpha Physiotherapy. Jimmy has looked after me for a couple of years - keeping me going despite an ill-tempered hip joint, providing physiotherapy treatment plus pre-op and post-op exercises for my hip replacement surgery and then sorting out the tendinopathy problem which developed later. Jimmy is amazing. You start feeling better as soon as you walk in and see his cheery smile; and you soon realise that he has x-ray eyes and can see exactly what is wrong, where and why. His Shockwave treatment has been very effective at limiting the pain in my hip, and his energetic massage hits the spot every time. Thank you, Jimmy. Lynsey and Molly are lovely people - very friendly, ready to listen as well as talk, and extremely good at what they do. Timandra provides an excellent front-of-house service with her efficiency and her ready laugh. I'm sure the other staff are equally good; Alpha seems to have the knack of employing people who are first class practitioners in their own right as well as able to meld together into a terrific team. It's a happy place. Best Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in Suffolk, 2024? I'd second that.

Fantastic experience: March 2024 I suffered a knee injury while playing squash. After resting for three months it wasn't showing any signs of improvement. At this point I contacted Alpha Physio, following a recommendation from my son. I've now had three laser treatment sessions with Molly, and the transformation has been remarkable. Fantastic experience: After a recommendation from a friend, I booked an appointment with Jimmy from Alpha Physiotherapy for an issue with my knee. I was so impressed with his understanding of my issue and speed of treatment and recovery. I have since seen him for 2 other (unrelated) injuries and have been equally impressed - and have quickly been able to continue with my running. I also use the Alpha Pilates class, with Molly, which is both relaxing and invigorating...and sometimes quite funny. Again, her understanding of how far to push with injuries gives me complete confidence.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to try Alpha physio by another client. I had injured my back and was having difficulty sitting, or indeed moving. An operation was the way forward which I was keen to avoid. I saw Jimmy for physio and Molly for Pilates and I'm now back at the gym and moving freely. Surgery is off the agenda, the consultant was amazed when he saw me; he even asked for their number as he was suffering tennis elbow! Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Jimmy, Chris, Molly and Lauren for a few sessions now following a nasty accident resulting in both ankles and legs chronically injured. The staff are very friendly, and professional and it is easy to park (for free). My surgeon recommended physio for the rest of my life to help maintain and recover from the injuries and I am very pleased that I found Alpha and have regular laser and massage treatments along with regular physiotherapy.

Claire was a great help, she listened to my daily routines and lifestyle and together we worked out a plan to help me recover and change my habits that lead to the injury. Fantastic experience: After ongoing pains in both of my arms starting at my thumbs I was in desperation having got nowhere at all with my GP. Alpha physio managed to diagnose my problem immediately advise me on how to correct the problem through exercises and to administer shock therapy which was an immediate relief. I have consulted alpha for physio for approximately six years for a number of different health problems. on every occasion alpha physio has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me to resolve the problems and to improve my physical condition. Professionally I'm able to recommend them for gate analysis to correct pronation and supination of the feet using orthotics and a thorough analysis system. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Chris at Alpha as I had some new pain in my left knee. I was recommended to go to Alpha as they had worked wonders for my wife’s bad knee. The initial consultation was a free 20 minute discussion in which Chris established my issue / the cause etc. I then had my first 30 session where I received 2 separate treatments on my knee plus I was given some exercises to do in between then and my next appointment. So far so good. The pain has definitely receded and I continue to do the recommended exercises on a daily basis. The treatment has been great so far. Chris has excellent knowledge and I would not hesitate to recommend Alpha to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I visited Chris recently having had an ongoing knee problem ( damaged meniscus), after three sessions and being given exercises ( which I have done religiously) I now find my knee is 99% pain free. I’ve had back and knee issues for several years and was resigned to simply managing the pain while trying to stay active but after only a few sessions my knee and especially my lower back are both already showing signs of improvement. Fantastic experience: Alpha physio is amazing! I’ve seen Claire and Molly over the past 12 months due to multiple injuries caused by my hyper mobility. I’ve had physio, shock wave therapy and sports massage and it has helped so much. Having tight muscles and it being really easy to hyperextend means I’m prone to injuries and it’s something that won’t be cured but managed through strengthening exercises and physio. Claire and Molly are so skilled and knowledgeable and have helped me with gym workouts and plans to strengthen my body. They’re also both lovely, as is the whole team at Alpha. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: From start to finish we received five star treatment from Jimmy. His understanding of anatomy and nerves and the processes involved with injury is outstanding. Unlike previous physiotherapists I have seen, Jimmy works with the psychological aspect of pain, as well as the physical side. With Jimmy there is a plan and confidence to get you out of pain that is both contagious and exciting. He has a fantastic energy and truly cared about helping me overcome what had previously felt impossible.

Fantastic experience: I’ve suffered with hip pain for 13 years and avoided surgery but my back started to cause me terrible problems. I have been seeing Holli at Alpha Physio for 3 sessions. Her knowledge is amazing and she explains everything so well. I had shock wave therapy on my hip and it’s been life changing. I’m now pain free and learning to use my hip again which in time will hopefully help my back. I am continuing to work with Holli and have taken out a good value package to help with the cost. Jimmy identified the problem on my first visit and started a short course of treatments involving shock wave treatment and strapping. He also gave me exercises to do at home. Fantastic experience: I have now had 2 sessions of sports massage for my knees, and the results have been amazing. My gait has improved as Lauren has helped ease the muscle and tendon tightness and I no longer get pain after I have exercised, and the stiffness after sitting is diminished considerably I would highly recommend alpha for sports massage.

Fantastic experience: Having the misfortune to tear an ACL, I was given very good advice on rehabilitation and also fitted with a knee brace. Done professionally, the brace fitted very well, was comfortable and started me the road to recovery. Alpha physio are a very professional, caring and happy team. I’ve returned to see them with various niggles to different body parts and diagnosis and treatment has been very effective.

Fantastic experience: As I’m a member of MHL I was aware there was a Physio practice on the 1st floor. I injured my back almost a year ago and thought through regular daily exercises recommended online I would soon be back to full health. Well that didn’t happen and I knew I was progressively getting worse. I enquired at the gym reception about prices for treatment and the lovely Timandra offered me a free half hour consultation with Jimmy to see if I thought he could help. From that first meeting I felt at last someone could help. I’m still not completely better but have gradually improved and the difference in how I am today compared with 6months ago is amazing. Jimmy always explains clearly what the issues are and how the treatment will help. I’ve had shock wave treatment and acupuncture as well as regular massage. Jimmy has also recommended exercises to do daily. I always leave feeling so positive- that I will get better. Jimmy is always understanding and his upbeat manner encourages me and helps lift the feelings of despair you can experience when recovery takes so long and your body is in pain. All the team are bright, friendly faces that are determined to help you back to full health.

He explained in detail what he was doing, what he expected to happen with recovery and how long recovery was likely to take. He gave me excises to do on both back and elbow, which I have been doing and have to say, seem to be working. I will return for another session of shock therapy in a couple of weeks on my elbow, but hopefully with continued strength and stretching my back stiffness should be fixed. Fantastic experience: I originally saw Lyndsey for a hand problem, she was treating me for that when I mentioned I had an occasional flare-up of a long term problem. She immediately tried to help with both problems. There was some improvement at the time, but since one problem I've had for about 30years, comes and goes, but still present from time to time. Lyndsey was very friendly and professional and I recommend her completely should you need a physiotherapist.

Fantastic experience: I would thoroughly recommend Alpha Physiotherapy to anyone considering treatment. I was recommended to go to them by a friend after a knee injury and found everyone I met there to be friendly, kind and professional. Holli diagnosed I had torn my MCL and started shockwave treatment alongside a series of exercises I could do at home. I always knew if I had any more problems before my next appointment I could ring and talk to someone. My knee has all but recovered now but if I have anymore difficulties I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Fantastic experience: I Have been using Alpha physiotherapy service for the past few months with Claire as my physiotherapist. During this time an undiagnosed foot problem -very likely arthritic in origin - has improved a good deal. My treatment has been excellent and I would recommend Alpha to anyone needing physiotherapy.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Alpha with a troublesome shoulder that was getting worse and really impacting my quality of life. After an initial assessment I was efficiently diagnosed as having 'adhesive capsulitis' ( frozen shoulder). The condition was explained to me and I was given some very manageable exercises and recommended to start on a series of 'shockwave; treatments - these had an almost immediate effect. Despite being warned it could take almost a year to recover from a frozen shoulders, after a few months of shockwave treatments and exercises I was in almost total remission - I was very pleased. I 100% recommend Alpha Physiotherapy.

Fantastic experience: I started doing virtual Pilates classes with Alpha as a total beginner in lockdown and have carried on ever since. The classes are physio led which is so valuable as the instructors know exactly where and how you should be feeling the exercises and are great at explaining how to set yourself up for each exercise properly (very important when doing it virtually) and how to stretch out afterwards. Since working from home more I’ve struggled with back and neck issues and Pilates has been my saving grace! Lyndsey and Mollie are brilliant, knowledgeable and also very funny instructors! And I genuinely enjoy every class I do. Living in Surrey I’m so grateful I can enjoy these classes virtually for a very reasonable price, they are worth every penny!
