Positive experience: Excellent service and highly recommended I honestly cannot fault this company or Dr Amit. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly at the same time. Lizzy is also an absolute diamond and always adds to the positive experience. After being with Dr Amit for a year, I can confidently say I would recommend him to anyone looking for a chiropractor. I have already recommended him to several people, including my mother. After seeing how positive my experience was, my mother decided to give him a try herself. She was so impressed that she then recommended him to my brother, who is now also a patient. It just goes to show how effective word of mouth can be! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and trustworthy chiropractic service.

Fantastic experience: I cannot begin to thank Mohammad at the Spine Clinic, for 'miracle' treatment, it was transformational. I fractured my right knee in a freak accident at the end of September 2025. Though I worked exceptionally hard at getting it better in record time, the recovery impacted on my hip and lower back, leaving me 'lopsided sided' and walking with a limp. After I had been assessed by Mo, I attended for my first treatment. It was amazing because after just that first treatment I was walking properly without a limp, I was totally overjoyed. I have subsequently had two further treatments just for small adjustments. So thank you Mo, I am now doing long walks again with confidence.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience at the Ipswich Spine Clinic! To be honest we came to the clinic with very low expectations as my 21 year old son had been struggling for many months with what appeared to be carpal tunnel syndrome in his right hand/wrist. He was very low, had minimal grip strength, even resorting to special cutlery just to eat. His studies at university were suffering as his sports therapy degree involved manual actions he just couldn’t perform without excruciating pain. We had drawn a blank with the NHS, being told he was left with strong painkillers and pain management, possibly heading for a surgery referral on a long waiting list, which at 21 was unacceptable. A couple of ultrasound guided steroid injections paid for privately, had gotten him through one set of exams but had worn off quickly. He was no longer able to play golf, which he loved and was part of the university team, so his social life was also impacted. It’s fair to say we were clutching at straws. Right from the outset at the end of January, Amrit listened. Actually listened to him… rather than brushing him off like the gp and hospital had done. He looked at his posture, gait and noticed a difference in his leg length, caused by moving awkwardly. The scans showed inflammation in the areas where nerves were linked to the wrist and arm. He diagnosed “double crush syndrome“ which we had never heard of! The first couple of weekly adjustments helped align the legs and improved his gait quite quickly. My son also regained his posture and full 6’2” height. Pain gradually decreased in his wrist and hand and he began to regain movement. A few sessions in, his grip strength improved and remarkably by mid-march he was able to play a full round of golf with no major ill effects!! He is now off of all painkillers, and treatment intervals have been spaced to monthly. He is fit enough to undertake all his exams, even the manual ones and continues to play golf and is now on the board of the golf society at uni! We are amazed at the speed and success of the treatment and can’t thank the clinic enough. I apologise for the length of the review, but hope our experience will help others and would urge anyone who has issues to give the clinic a try.

Fantastic experience: * I just wanted to update my review. I'm happy to say that the improvements of 7 months ago have been maintained and 99% of the time I am able to walk pain-free. I continue to see Amit to ensure I keep my spine strong and healthy. I am thrilled! * I have had leg pain for the past three years and have searched for the reason why. I've been to the doctor, I saw a physiotherapist, an osteopath, had a gait analysis. My daily walks became infrequent because the pain just made me miserable. Luckily, it was recommended that I visit Ipswich Spine Clinic. An initial visit/follow up appointment was a very reasonable cost. Amit (Dr Patel) is professional, approachable, encouraging and kind. His assessment was easy for me to understand and so I started a twice-weekly course of treatment. Very soon, I began to feel the benefit and I am - honestly - 95% better. And I know that soon it'll be 100%. My visits are now monthly and I am just so pleased with the outcome. Everyone should have the opportunity to see a chiropractor like Amit.

Negative experience: Awful and should be closed down immediately after this. My mum came here a couple of years ago because she had a problem with her neck. They said they will do an adjustment to make it better but they have done the adjustment wrong and my mum is suffering from it badly.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Dr.Amit Patel enough about my chronic back pain over the years through my job. I was nervous at the start coming into the practice, but he made me feel very comfortable and calm.. He took xrays and pin pointed exactly where the problem lies, massaged areas and gave me instruction exercises to alleviate the pain, would highly recommend using ipswich spine clinic, this guy really good!!

Negative experience: not recommend.I came here because of the high review, and now i found the review may be fake. I agree with the lady, they measured your back with an instrument and told you you were serious. The most important thing is that 38 pounds of every treatment but less than five minutes, expensive and ineffective change this review because of the reply… yeah you can say every bad feedback is from your competitors. I came to your shop because you had more than 200 good reviews before and where are them now? I just want other people don’t waste money!

Negative experience: I originally thought this was a good service (had never been to a chiropractor before) but have since realised it's in my opinion not worth the money. Scans are done but after the first couple appointments I would pay £47 for an appointment which lasted maybe 5 minutes with minor cracks and adjustments. Since then I have gone to another chiropractor where sessions are longer. There's not just adjustments but massage guns and cupping with full explanations of each movement and with a lower price so definitely worth the money and my back feels so much better than sessions from the spine clinic. I would not reccomend this service to anyone but to reccomend for people to find a smaller family run clinic or an independent chiropractor to get a better service, longer appointment and value for money.

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering immense pain for several months, my mobility was getting increasingly worse, it was affecting my work and my home life…. I was miserable.. after my first session I started to notice a difference, a few sessions later and I’m no longer limping, I’ve reduced my pain medication, I’ve got my mobility back, still not 100% yet but it’s early days, I feel like my old self again.. Negative experience: I visited the surgery some time ago and was greeted by the Dr in a suit. He put me to stand on 2 scales and measured my legs. He said my pelvis is probably tilted. He then put some wires on my back and produced a drawing of a back with some red/black dots scattered around. He told me I have as many as the red dots were, trigger points. Since I only had discomfort on my back he told me to come and see him when/if the discomfort turns into pain. I was hoping he would crack my back or at the very least give me the A4 paper with the trigger points, but it seems £45 was not enough :-(

He explained in detail what was going to happen and how we need to move forward with my adjustments. In my experience it's not like the many YouTube clips I watched before I went. Dr Patel took around 5 minutes to do my adjustments and the results are phenomenal. At this stage I've had 4 adjustments and my neck, back and legs already feel so much better. I've another 8 adjustments to go but might go back for a check up every 6 months or so. The practice is easy to find and there is parking directly opposite and costs £1.30. Negative experience: They do fancy scans of your spine and then they make out that your back is much worse than it actually is, giving you a falsely very alarming interpretation of the scans. Luckily I didn't take their word for it, I went another chiropractor (very professional and well know in Ipswich). I guess they then expect to take your money for endless number of sessions, thanks to the anxiety they have generated.

Fantastic experience: I am a 41 year old (but still young!) male and way back in June 2012 I had lower back pain which went on for a couple of years. It transpired that I had 2 pro-lapsed discs and was told that I needed 4 Root nerve block injections, which done nothing for me, I was then told the only way forward was to have a Discetomy operation by the specialist at Ipswich Hospital, which Failed!! Post operation I now suffer with more sciatica & nerve damage than I did before the operation. I was discharged by my surgeon and he referred me to the pain clinic, first time in 3 years, and I was told that I will always have this pain and I must manage it!!!! In the mean time I was looking for help privately and found Amit :) When I first saw Amit I was a little bit dubious on how Amit could help me and yet the Hospital could not. My first appointment Amit explained everything to me and it all started to make sense. The thing that always sticks out for me is that he X-rays you standing up so he can then see where the load on your spine is,and I had nerve scans which helped me to understand how my body was reacting to the treatment Amit was giving, simples. I have seen Amit alot over the past few months and he has been nothing but a 'Hero' in my eyes.I feel like I am getting better. I am now able to walk further and do some every day things which I just could not do a few months ago. Since day one Amit has cared about my progress and getting me back on my feet, which after 3 years of pain and little help from the NHS is a huge blessing. Amit has promised me that he will get me walking down the aisle and dancing at my Wedding next year! and I believe him :) :) If only I would have seen Amit 3 years ago I would have most probably not have had to had my operation. Fantastic experience: Having been in unbearable pain with sciatica for over five months, I finally found the Ipswich Spine Clinic and booked an appointment to see Amit. At my first session, Xrays were taken and an EMG scan was carried out. They both showed several problems with the alignment of my spine. At my second session Amit manipulated my spine in several places. I felt immediately two inches taller and my pain had gone from unbearable to mild. Since then, during my course of treatments, I have improved steadily. The best thing about Amit is that he listens carefully, then he finds out what is wrong, and then he deals with it. Apart from being very professional and capable, Amit shows care and consideration for his clients. I can not recommend him enough to anybody who needs attention to their back. I am only sorry that it took five months for me to find him.
